This paper focuses on static source localization employing different combinations of measurements, including time-difference-of-arrival (TDOA), received-signal-strength (RSS), angle-of-arrival (AOA), and time-of-arrival (TOA) measurements. Since sensor-source geometry significantly impacts localization accuracy, the strategies of optimal sensor placement are proposed systematically using combinations of hybrid measurements. Firstly, the relationship between sensor placement and source estimation accuracy is formulated by a derived Cramér-Rao bound (CRB). Secondly, the A-optimality criterion, i.e., minimizing the trace of the CRB, is selected to calculate the smallest reachable estimation mean-squared-error (MSE) in a unified manner. Thirdly, the optimal sensor placement strategies are developed to achieve the optimal estimation bound. Specifically, the specific constraints of the optimal geometries deduced by specific measurement, i.e., TDOA, AOA, RSS, and TOA, are found and discussed theoretically. Finally, the new findings are verified by simulation studies.

This paper presents the use of neural networks to detect people with anti-virus masks. The algorithm allows to determine if a person has a correctly worn mask (covered nose and mouth). The use of neural networks has been compared with typical Haar cascade frontal face solutions available in the OpenCV library. The proposed solution has been checked for efficiency and precision, as well as for the minimum resolution requirements of the resulting facial image. The software works on still images as well as on video sequences from computer webcams and CCTV cameras.

Gaussian Process Repetitive control for Suppressing Spatial Disturbances

Motion systems are often subject to disturbances such as cogging, commutation errors, and imbalances, that vary with velocity and appear periodic in time for constant operating velocities. The aim of this paper is to develop a repetitive controller (RC) for disturbances that are not periodic in the time domain, yet occur due to an identical position-domain disturbance. A new spatial RC framework is developed, allowing to attenuate disturbances that are periodic in the position domain but manifest a-periodic in the time domain. A Gaussian process (GP) based memory is employed with a suitable periodic kernel that can effectively deal with the intermittent observations inherent to the position domain. A mechatronic example confirms the potential of the method.

Knowledge Graph Embedding aims to advance the learning performance of knowledge graphs by deliberating the complexity of hierarchical data structures in a finite-dimensional space. Most traditional Euclidean models struggle to accurately describe and navigate the intricate hierarchical relationships between nodes. The hyperbolic embedding methods, particularly in conjunction with graph neural networks, offer promise in effectively modeling complex hierarchies in a limited-dimensional space. These methods can accommodate more information about nodes under the same conditions but are also more susceptible to interference from complex neighborhood features. This paper introduces HyperGatE, which novelty combines a hyperbolic graph hierarchical neighbor structure based on a gated filter and a hyperbolic isometric rotation model for knowledge graph completion. By analyzing the hierarchical structure of the knowledge base and using a gated mechanism to form multi-layer embedding networks of entity-relational paths, the gated filter selects diverse uneven multi-hop relations within the entity neighborhood and measures them through graph attention networks. Furthermore, the simplified hyperbolic isometric model allows for uncovering hierarchical structures in the data. HyperGatE experimentally surpasses the state-of-the-art Euclidean and hyperbolic space models in high and low dimensions across four well-known data, namely WN18RR, FB15k-237, NELL-995, and Kinship. © 2024, The Authors. The problems of implementation and provision of distance learning has been systematized, the possibilities of using and quickly reconfiguring LMS Moodle according to the needs and requirements of extreme military conditions have been investigated, software tools and organizational measures to stabilize the online education system have been considered. Guidance to LMS Moodle administrators and lecturers has been provided, Moodle plugins for creating online virtual laboratory complexes for students of electrical engineering specialties have been proposed.

Secrecy Performance Analysis of Multi-Functional RIS-Assisted NOMA Networks

Although reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) can improve the secrecy communication performance of wireless users, it still faces challenges such as limited coverage and double-fading effect. To address these issues, in this paper, we utilize a novel multi-functional RIS (MF-RIS) to enhance the secrecy performance of wireless users, and investigate the physical layer secrecy problem in non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) networks. Specifically, we derive the secrecy outage probability (SOP) and secrecy throughput expressions of users in MF-RIS-assisted NOMA networks with external and internal eavesdroppers. The asymptotic expressions for SOP and secrecy diversity order are also analyzed under high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions. Additionally, we examine the impact of receiver hardware limitations and error transmission-induced imperfect successive interference cancellation (SIC) on the secrecy performance. Numerical results indicate that: i) under the same power budget, the secrecy performance achieved by MF-RIS significantly outperforms active RIS and simultaneously transmitting and reflecting RIS;ii) with increasing power budget, residual interference caused by imperfect SIC surpasses thermal noise as the primary factor affecting secrecy capacity;and iii) deploying additional elements at the MF-RIS brings significant secrecy enhancements for the external eavesdropping scenario, in contrast to the internal eavesdropping case. A wide variety of data can be represented using third-order tensors, spanning applications in chemometrics, psychometrics, and image processing. However, traditional data-driven frameworks are not naturally equipped to process tensors without first unfolding or flattening the data, which can result in a loss of crucial higher-order structural information. In this article, we introduce a novel framework for the data-driven analysis of T-product-based dynamical systems (TPDSs), where the system evolution is governed by the T-product between a third-order dynamic tensor and a third-order state tensor. In particular, we examine the data informativity of TPDSs concerning system identification, stability, controllability, and stabilizability and illustrate significant computational improvements over traditional approaches by leveraging the unique properties of the T-product. Motion planning is one of the most significant technologies for autonomous driving. To make motion planning models able to learn from the environment and to deal with emergency situations, a new motion planning framework called as"parallel planning" is proposed in this paper. In order to generate sufficient and various training samples, artificial traffic scenes are firstly constructed based on the knowledge from the reality.A deep planning model which combines a convolutional neural network(CNN) with the Long Short-Term Memory module(LSTM) is developed to make planning decisions in an end-toend mode. This model can learn from both real and artificial traffic scenes and imitate the driving style of human ***, a parallel deep reinforcement learning approach is also presented to improve the robustness of planning model and reduce the error rate. To handle emergency situations, a hybrid generative model including a variational auto-encoder(VAE) and a generative adversarial network(GAN) is utilized to learn from virtual emergencies generated in artificial traffic scenes. While an autonomous vehicle is moving, the hybrid generative model generates multiple video clips in parallel, which correspond to different potential emergency scenarios. Simultaneously, the deep planning model makes planning decisions for both virtual and current real scenes. The final planning decision is determined by analysis of real observations. Leveraging the parallel planning approach, the planner is able to make rational decisions without heavy calculation burden when an emergency occurs.

The Internet of Things (IoT) connects schemes, programs, data management, and operations, and as they continuously assist in the corporation, they may be a fresh entryway for cyber-attacks. Presently, illegal downloading and virus attacks pose significant threats to IoT security. These risks may acquire confidential material, causing reputational and financial harm. In this paper hybrid optimization mechanism and deep learning,a frame is used to detect the attack prevention in IoT. To develop a cybersecurity warning system in a huge data set, the cybersecurity warning systems index system is first constructed, then the index factors are picked and measured, and finally, the situation evaluation is *** bio-inspired techniques were used to enhance the productivity of an IDS by lowering the data dimensionality and deleting unnecessary and noisy input. The Grey Wolf Optimization algorithm (GWO) is a developed bio-inspired algorithm that improves the efficacy of the IDS in detecting both regular and abnormal congestion in the network. The smart initialization step integrates the different pre-processing strategies to make sure that informative features are incorporated in the early development stages, has been improved. Researchers pick multi-source material in a big data environment for the identification and verification of index components and present a parallel reduction approach based on the classification significance matrix to decrease data underlying data characteristics. For the simulation of this situation, grey wolf optimization and whale optimization were combined to detect the attack prevention and the deep learning approach was presented. Adaptive Smooth Disturbance Observer-Based Fast Finite-Time Attitude Tracking control of a Small Unmanned Helicopter

In this paper, a novel control scheme, which includes an improved fast finite-time adaptive backstepping controller based on a newly designed adaptive smooth disturbance observer, is presented for the attitude tracking of a small unmanned helicopter system subject to lumped disturbances. First, an adaptive smooth disturbance observer (ASDO) is proposed to approximate the lumped disturbances, which owns the characteristics of smooth output, fast finite-time convergence, and adaptability to disturbances. Then, a finite-time backstepping control protocol is constructed to achieve the attitude tracking objective. By virtue of our newly proposed inequality, a singularity-free virtual control law is designed. To tackle the "explosion of complexity" problem, a fast finite-time command filter (FFTCF) is utilized to estimate the virtual control signals and their derivatives. In addition, an auxiliary dynamic system is introduced to attenuate the impact of the errors caused by FFTCF estimation. Moreover, an adaptive law with σ-modification term is developed to compensate the ASDO approximation error. Theoretical analysis proves that all signals of the closed-loop system are fast finite-time bounded, while the attitude tracking errors fast converge to a small region of the origin in finite time. Finally, two contrastive numerical simulations are carried out to validate the effectiveness and superiority of the designed control scheme. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.
