Nowadays, a realization of non-integer (fractional) order elements on a digital platform is a Widely researched problem. The theory of such dynamic components is relatively well grounded, however, many problems of implementation on a digital platform are still open. In this paper we consider real time fractional control of MagLev system. Classical methods of approximation and available toolboxes are unable to function in the fast discrete time environment. As a solution in this paper we use a novel library: SoftFRAC Which is dedicated for such control tasks. We illustrate library operation, controller design and present the application.

Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) plays an important role in autonomous navigation for mobile robots. Most of the visual SLAM approaches use keypoints for tracking, whose performance however suffers from the unstable landmarks during task due to uncertain light condition and frequently changeable viewpoint. The situation even becomes worse for visual SLAM in low texture environment especially in indoor buildings, where the supplementary artificial markers can be used to improve the robust detection under a wider range of circumstances. Inspired by this thought, this paper developed a visual SLAM system integrated with keypoints and artificial markers. A graph optimization problem is constructed to optimize the trajectory by taking both the reprojection error of keypoints and the influence of markers into consideration. The experimental results on SPM dataset demonstrate the superior accuracy of the proposed graph optimization algorithm compared with the start-of-the-art ORB-SLAM2.

In this paper, we focus on the problem of compositional synthesis of controllers enforcing signal temporal logic (STL) tasks over a class of continuous-time nonlinear interconnected systems. By leveraging the idea of funnel-based control, we show that a fragment of STL specifications can be formulated as assume-guarantee contracts. A new concept of contract satisfaction is then defined to establish our compositionality result, which allows us to guarantee the satisfaction of a global contract by the interconnected system when all subsystems satisfy their local contracts. Based on this compositional framework, we then design closed-form continuous-time feedback controllers to enforce local contracts over subsystems in a decentralized manner. Finally, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our results on a numerical example.
