With most countries paying attention to the environment protection, hybrid electric vehicles have become a focus of automobile research and development due to the characteristics of energy saving and low emission. Power follower control strategy(PFCS) and DC-link voltage control strategy are two sorts of control strategies for series hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs). Combining those two control strategies is a new idea for control strategy of series hybrid electric vehicles. By tuning essential parameters which are the defined constants under DClink voltage control and under PFCS, the points of minimum mass of equivalent fuel consumption(EFC) corresponding to a series of variables are marked for worldwide harmonized light vehicles test procedure(WLTP). The fuel economy of series HEVs with the combination control schemes performs better compared with individual control scheme. The results show the effects of the combination control schemes for series HEVs driving in an urban environment.

In recent years, flexible electronic devices have attracted much attention. Accordingly, flexible transparent conductive films are being researched actively. The commonly used indium tin oxide (ITO) transparent conductive film has limited flexibility. Therefore, we focused on poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythio- phene)/poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) as a substitute material for ITO and are engaged in producing flexible transparent conductive film using inkjet printers. To improve the characteristics of the transparent conductive film produced by inkjet printing, based on prior research, we found that cleaning the film substrate with ultraviolet/ozone (UV/O3) and post-deposition annealing and treatment using polar solvents are effective for thin films. In this study, we examined the method of applying the polar solvent. As a result, we were able to improve the homogeneity of the thin film surface by applying the polar solvent to each thin film lamination layer. The resulting characteristics obtained for a three-layer printed PEDOT:PSS thin film with polar solvent coating were resistivity of 1.49 × 10-3 Ω·cm and transmittance of 84.6%. However, we found that the surface condition changed depending on the processing method, affecting the rate of visible light transmittance.

Finding the optimal control strategy for traffic signals, especially for multi-intersection traffic signals, is still a difficult task. The use of reinforcement learning (RL) algorithms to this problem is greatly limited because of the partially observable and nonstationary environment. In this paper, we study how to eliminate the above influence from the environment through communication among agents. The proposed method, called Information Exchange Deep Q-Network (IEDQN), has a learning communication protocol, which makes each local agent pay unbalanced and asymmetric attention to other agents' information. Besides the protocol, each agent has the ability to abstract local information from its own history data for interacting, which means that the communication can avoid the dependent instant information and it is robust to the potential time delay of communication. Specifically, by alleviating the effects of partial observation, experience replay can recover to good performance. We evaluate IEDQN via simulation experiments in the simulation of urban mobility (SUMO) in a traffic grid, and it outperforms the comparative multi-agent RL (MARL) methods in both efficiency and effectiveness.
