Mobile offloading is a platform that facilitates the distribution of computationally intensive tasks from mobile devices to the cloud or other devices in order to conserve energy and improve performance. The concept is practically based on the idea of exchanging relatively low communication energy for high computation power utilization. Efforts have been channeled towards energy conservation by clusters using Dynamic Power Management (DPM). This paper is a review for green energy sources for reducing energy and using energy consumption to manage sources by stating the latest studies of energy consumption and energy consumptions.

In this paper, we compute a low order approximation of a system of large order n that matches ν moments of order ji of the transfer function, at ν interpolation points, has poles and k zeros fixed and also matches ν − ( +k) moments of order ji + 1, where ji + 1 is the multiplicity of the i-th interpolation point. We derive explicit linear systems in the free parameters to simultaneously achieve the required pole-zero placement and match the desired high order moments. We compute the closed form of the free parameters that meet the constraints, as the solution of a ν order linear system. Furthermore, for data-driven model reduction, we generalize the construction of the Loewner matrices to include the data and the imposed pole and higher order moment constraints. The resulting approximations achieve a trade-off between the good norm approximation and the preservation of the dynamics of the original system in a region of interest. Object control requires the calculation of a regulator. One of the most effective methods for calculating the regulator is the method of numerical optimization of the regulator. This paper discusses the solution of the problem of controlling a linear object of the sixth order, the parameters of which are such that this high order significantly and negatively affects the possibilities of successfully managing this object. Using the traditional approach to the design problem of the controller (regulator) allows us to formally solve the problem;however, the result of this solution is not satisfactory. The use of additional derivation does not give any noticeable improvement. A solution to this problem is proposed by using pseudo-local feedback, moreover, this connection is supposedly most effective if it covers one of two identical links in the object model. This allows for a smoother attenuation of the frequency response of the object in the region where the action of these two links begins to affect. For pseudo-local communication, an additional PID controller is used, the coefficients of which are also determined by the method of numerical optimization. The optimization result allows us to conclude that the presence of an integral element in this controller is optional. The calculation result of such a composite controller meets the most stringent requirements for the quality of control, since in such a system the speed is increased at least twice, the oscillations, which were about 10% in amplitude, are completely eliminated, the robustness of the system is ensured, which is verified by changing all the controller coefficients by 5% up and down, and also by changing the time constant of the element of the pseudolocal loop by 10% up and down, changes in the transition process of the system in this case remain are acceptable. © 2019 IEEE.

A coupled computational approach to simultaneously learn a vector field and the region of attraction of an equilibrium point from generated trajectories of the system is proposed. The nonlinear identification leverages the local stability information as a prior on the system, effectively endowing the estimate with this important structural property. In addition, the knowledge of the region of attraction plays an experiment design role by informing the selection of initial conditions from which trajectories are generated and by enabling the use of a Lyapunov function of the system as a regularization term. Numerical results show that the proposed method allows efficient sampling and provides an accurate estimate of the dynamics in an inner approximation of its region of attraction. In this paper we propose a flying IoT system designed to monitor parking lot. The system is composed of a flying mobile station and a terrestrial station. The mobile station consists of visual monitoring camera associated with air quality monitoring sensors, mounted on a Turnigy SK450 quad copter controlled with Pixhawk autopilot hardware. Data gathered from the monitoring system are transmitted to an IoT broker running on a Raspberry Pi 3+ microcontroller, also mounted on a drone, that aggregates data into a common flow and retransmits them to the terrestrial station. The transmission system was build according to WebRTC architecture. In order to assure separation of the production network (for transmission of application data) and the management network (for management and control purposes), two different transmission channels are used: one for the WebRTC transmission and the other for controlling the drone. The paper includes a description of the system and the results of field trials carried out on the parking lot of the AGH University of technology.

Fast increase of Earth population during the last decades raised a serious problem when it came to providing fresh and good quality food (mainly vegetables) in big quantity over a short period of time. Due to relatively long lifecycles of plants when growing in gardens or fields, the best solution consisted in using greenhouses. Greenhouses proved to be a very important solution since they are capable of operating regardless of local environments if minimum requirements (heating and water) are provided. By offering optimum growing conditions for the plants, the greenhouse environments not only stimulate a shorter lifecycle but also offer almost perfect protection against pests or plants diseases. An even better solution is represented by hydroponic greenhouses which exhibit several advantages over traditional greenhouses: they do not need earth for growing plants, the size and location are less restrictive, the plant cultures can be overlapped and the nutrients and other parameters can be controlled and personalized more efficiently. However, this comes with a higher cost for implementing and using automatic control architecture. In addition to specialized sensors, efficient solutions for data transmission, control and command must be used. In this paper a hydroponic system is presented. It aims to control not only a greenhouse but a set of greenhouses by aggregating them into a complex grid alike mechanism of monitoring and control. Intermediate results prove the solution is functional but the final architecture is not yet finalized. © SGEM2017.

The paper investigates how the movement of grinding media affects the throughput of dry grinding circuit with the innovative electromagnetic mill. General structure of the grinding circuit, control system and its advantages are presented. Three air flows are critical for determining material throughput and providing proper operating conditions of the installation: flow through the working chamber of the mill, through the main classifier and in the recycle stream. They are affected by the moving grinding media. To assess this influence, air speed measurements were taken for different positions of dampers in air streams, for several masses of grinding media and frequencies of the rotating electromagnetic field. For each air stream, a set of polynomial models was identified. control scheme for the air flows was proposed, including compensation for grinding media movement. Introduction of hierarchical control and distribution of particular control tasks on different layers was necessary. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this work, a heuristic as operational tool to estimate the lactate threshold and to facilitate its integration into the training process of recreational runners is proposed. To do so, we formalize the principles for the lactate threshold estimation from empirical data and an iterative methodology that enables experience based learning. This strategy arises as a robust and adaptive approach to solve data analysis problems. We compare the results of the heuristic with the most commonly used protocol by making a first quantitative error analysis to show its reliability. Additionally, we provide a computational algorithm so that this quantitative analysis can be easily performed in other lactate threshold protocols. With this work, we have shown that a heuristic (%60 of endurance running speed reserve), serves for the same purpose of the most commonly used protocol in recreational runners, but improving its operational limitations of accessibility and consistent use.
