Management of the Traffic Networks Transportation in Supplier-Customers Services by Strategic Games

This paper presents an innovative approach to optimize traffic networks in a supplier-customer system based on specific strategies of game theory. The traffic network is represented as a routing configuration in which the arcs represent various possible roads between supplier and customer entities, each route having an associated transport cost for the product unit. The game structure is defined by a matrix of transport costs between the players, supplier and customer, with their corresponding strategies. Based on these costs, the game matrix is built to which the existing quantities in warehouses are added, respectively the quantities requested by the final customers. By solving the game associated to the transportation traffic network, the different strategies are proposed for choosing the optimal solution. The simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach and recommend some performant procedures for solving the game, such as Hurwicz, Laplace and Savage, close to optimal solution. This research opens new directions for management optimization in other domains such as comunication, electrical and administrativ networks.

Soft-growing robots are emerging with numerous potential applications because of their superior capability of frictionless navigation. However, their success is hindered by their tendency to buckle under the tension required to retract them via inversion. In this paper, we propose a simple and scalable tubular backbone to facilitate retracting the robot body without buckling. With this backbone, compressive forces at the robot's tip are mitigated and a limit is placed on the effective length for retraction during the application of tension. We first present the selection of the backbone and the development of such a retractable soft-growing robot. Along with the characterization of the working principles behind this buckling-free mechanism, success was observed with the use of the backbone in retraction tests. The effects of different parameters such as robot body lengths, air pressures, curvatures, and retraction modes on the performance were also investigated. This backbone approach requires no bulky or in-situ mechatronic components inside the robot body and thus may be used in medical applications which appreciate simple, compact, and in-situ electronic-free designs.

The numerous toolboxes within MATLAB [12] to aid student engagement and learning largely require deep understanding of coding, as well as the associated engineering. This paper discusses some work in progress which is focussing on developing files and resources for a control 101 course [17] which are both engaging and also have much lower pedestals of understanding before use. The intention is focus on attracting student interest and communicating core concepts before students need to begin the longer process of deep learning. Thus this toolbox fills a large gap in the current provision.

In today's world of wireless technologies, we observe a proliferation of devices that communicate and operate wirelessly. All these devices emit electromagnetic radiation, which also penetrates the human body. Given the current technologies, it is not possible to completely prevent the impact of electromagnetic radiation on humans. However, we can mitigate the effects of electromagnetic radiation by choosing the right shielding material. One natural shielding material, for example, is a building. Therefore, in this article, we focused on research in the field of electromagnetic field shielding, reflection, and absorption in building structures. The article describes a measurement method for determining the effectiveness of shielding and reflection of electromagnetic fields. Subsequently, based on these measurements, the absorption of electromagnetic fields can be calculated. © 2023 IEEE.

To solve the power imbalance problem caused by the difference between the equivalent impedance of the inverter and the line impedance, and the power quality problem caused by the disturbance of load mutation, unbalanced load and nonlinear load, this paper proposes a closed-loop feedback dynamic compensation strategy based on the equivalent virtual impedance of the residual generator. Firstly, based on the parallel topology of inverters, a quasi-steady-state model is established on the dq axis. Based on the model, the power imbalance caused by the difference of output impedance and line impedance of different inverters and the power quality problems caused by load switching, unbalanced load, nonlinear load and other disturbances in parallel inverters are ***, a residual generator is established based on the inverter model. A virtual impedance equivalent controller Qvir(S) based on the residual generator is designed by the Luenberger observer principle. The disturbance information is fed back in real time through the feedback structure, and then the virtual impedance is adjusted to realize the power sharing of the inverter parallel system. Then, based on Euler parameterization and coprime factorization theory, a dynamic compensation architecture based on residual generator is designed. The transfer function of the dynamic compensation controller Qcom (S) is obtained by model matching to realize the steady-state operation of parallel inverters and the improvement of system power quality. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed architecture is verified on the experimental platform. © 2023 IEEE.

The deep learning model, Transformer, and its variants have achieved state-of-the-art performance in many domains, such as natural language processing, vision recognition, protein structure prediction, as well as industrial multi-sensor data processing tasks. However, the high memory usage and O(N2) computational complexity of Transformer can result in the high cost and low efficiency in industrial scenarios, especially in the case of edge computing. To mitigate this problem, we propose a novel auto-decorrelation block based on the Fast Fourier Transform and the self-attention mechanism of Transformer to reduce memory occupation and computational complexity. Instead of removing the related data, this model merges the correlated channels progressively throughout the whole inference process. The proposed method was tested on a public dataset based on condition monitoring of a hydraulic system. Results demonstrated that our proposed method reduced memory usage to around one-fifth of its original size while maintaining similar inference accuracy. The inference time can also be 2 times faster. This allows the transformer to be used for industrial multi-sensor data processing tasks in a more resource-efficient and faster manner. © 2022 IEEE.

This work presents the results of the examination of the HeLa cell line exposure on the ELF-EMF (extremely low-frequency electromagnetic field). In particular, the relationship between ELF-EMF exposition time and cell death. The examination of cell death hallmarks were examined by estimation levels of selected proteins - FACL4 (a protein that is a part of the ferroptosis pathway) and CK18 (Cytokeratin related to necrosis and apoptosis pathways) in the proposed model of workers exposed to ELF-EMF week. © 2024 IEEE.

With the rapid development of information technologies such as digital twin, extended reality, and blockchain,the hype around "metaverse" is increasing at astronomical speed. However, much attention has been paid to its entertainment and social functions. Considering the openness and interoperability of metaverses, the market of quality inspection promises explosive growth. In this paper, taking advantage of metaverses, we first propose the concept of Automated Quality Inspection(Auto QI), which performs integrated inspection covering the entire manufacturing process, including Quality of Materials, Quality of Manufacturing(Qo M), Quality of Products, Quality of Processes(Qo P), Quality of systems, and Quality of Services(Qo S). Based on the scenarios engineering theory, we discuss how to perform interactions between metaverses and the physical world for virtual design instruction and physical validation feedback. Then we introduce a bottomup inspection device development workflow with productivity tools offered by metaverses, making development more effective and efficient than ever. As the core of quality inspection,we propose Quality Transformers to complete detection task,while federated learning is integrated to regulate data *** summary, we point out the development directions of quality inspection under metaverse tide.

This paper develops a predictive optimisationbased iterative learning control (ILC) strategy for the highperformance formation control problem in networked dynamical systems working repetitively. It avoids the need for exact model information in traditional methods and achieves high performance via a predictive framework incorporating a unique performance index that integrates both immediate and future performance. The proposed framework guarantees geometric convergence of the formation error norm to zero and is capable of handling both heterogeneous and non-minimum phase systems. A distributed implementation of the framework is developed using the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers to guarantee the framework's scalability for largescale networks. Rigorous convergence analysis and numerical examples are provided to confirm its effectiveness. © 2024 IEEE.

"Artificial lung" is a device that simulates breathing process of occupants in a room. This allows you to safely test, e.g., the impact of HVAC systems on the spread of pathogens. The paper describes the concept of the device, its construction and performed tests. The project was implemented by students of two faculties: automatic control, Electronics and Computer Science, and Energy and Environmental engineering.
