In generalized Nash equilibrium(GNE)seeking problems over physical networks such as power grids,the enforcement of network constraints and time-varying environment may bring high computational *** online algorithms is recognized as a promising method to cope with this challenge,where the task of computing system states is replaced by directly using measured values from the physical *** this paper,we propose an online distributed algorithm via measurement feedback to track the GNE in a time-varying networked resource sharing *** that some system states are not measurable and measurement noise always exists,a dynamic state estimator is incorporated based on a Kalman filter,rendering a closed-loop dynamics of measurement-feedback driven online *** prove that,with a fixed step size,this online algorithm converges to a neighborhood of the GNE in *** simulations validate the theoretical results.

The issues of estimating the influence of the sampling rate variability on the spectral distribution of complex discrete samples of the isoline drift signal formed on the TP segment of the electrocardiosignal has been examined. Mathematical expressions that relate the spectral components in the zero spectral zone caused by the presence of sampling rate variability and non-zero samples of the isoline drift signal, which allow us to estimate the ratio of these components, have been obtained. © 2021 IEEE.

Enhancing the electrical performance of silicone rubber (SiR) for cable accessories is noteworthy as they are almost the weakest parts of the cable system. Two types of voltage stabilizers were grafted onto the surface of nano-zirconia (ZrO2) particles, and the grafted nanoparticles were added to the SiR. Measurements such as breakdown strength, and conductivity were carried out to evaluate the electrical performance of SiR nanocomposites. The electrical performance measurement results indicated that the breakdown strength of the nanocomposite SiR improved while the conductance current was reduced. The trap distribution showed that the improvement of the electrical performance of the nanocomposite SiR is mainly due to the decrease of the shallow trap density or the increase of the deep trap density. © 2023 IEEE.

Epistemic uncertainty refers to the lack of information from knowledge and in medical field it is often paired with decision making situations and systems largely dependent on context and expertise. Our approach is uncertainty-centric and digitalizes knowledge with high certainty level, in order to improve the efficacy of knowledge-driven decision support system for anesthesia regulation. We propose to digitize some of surgical actions as part of minimizing uncertainty in closed loop control. Notable disturbances are those induced by the surgery actions, but they abide clinical protocols and semantic transformation enables their use in computers. We introduce a predictive control methodology to accommodate the augmented information of the system and evaluate its impact on the closed loop performance. Simulations of closed loop control of anesthesia for various surgery protocols indicate a high relevance and applicability of proposed approach. The proposed control structure allows the use of medical semantics in decision making process of anesthesia regulation.

The interoperability of heterogeneous networks, including hybrid industrial wired/wireless protocols, is a vital aspect of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) since various industrial protocols have coexisted. Therefore, it is hard to obtain a multiple protocol conversion solution with the flexible configuration. Moreover, the previous works do not adapt to the Time Sensitive Networking (TSN), which is considered as the potential technology of IIoT. To tackle the above problems, we proposed an architecture of the multiple conversion system supporting the conversion of multiple protocols. Then, we proposed a protocol conversion mechanism to improve the flexibility of multiple protocol conversion by separating into data and configuration planes. Moreover, we propose a TSN-compatible frame with dynamic priority mapping algorithm, which adjusts the priority in the VLAN tag by the processing delay. Finally, we develop a hardware module and system supporting multiple protocol conversion, which verify that the proposed architecture could satisfy the flexible conversion requirement through the experiments. © 2022 IEEE.

This article aims to propose an algorithm for operating a robot gyroscope application. A gyroscope, an instrument for measuring and maintaining direction, utilizes the concept of angular momentum. The hardware architecture utilizes the GY-85 sensor modules, the ESP-32, and the OLED to accomplish communication with other linked devices. I will refer to it as the 3D gyroscope. It is possible for this gadget to function in conjunction with any kind of gyroscope or robot of any kind. For determining the values of acceleration and gravity, the application makes use of the x, y, and z axes. To communication between the devices, the algorithm makes use of the Modbus protocol for communication between the devices. You can use LabView to develop a testable gyroscope application. We rotated the constructed three-dimensional gyroscope at angles of 0 degrees, 45 degrees, and -45 degrees along the x, y, and z axes to test the results. The rotating process produced a multi-perspective, three-dimensional presentation of the constructed or developed device. Theta values in the x, y, and z axes that come from the experimental findings for angles of 45, -45, and 0 are extremely accurate.

This paper models a platooning system consisting of trucks and a third-party service provider (TPSP), which performs platoon coordination, distributes the platooning profit in platoons, and charges trucks in exchange for the services. Government subsidies used to incentivize platooning are also considered. We propose a pricing rule for the TPSP, which keeps part of the platooning profit including the subsidy each time a platoon is formed. In addition, a platoon coordination solution based on the distributed model predictive control (MPC) is proposed, in which the pricing rule under government subsidies is integrated. We perform a realistic simulation over the Swedish road network to evaluate the impact of the pricing rule and subsidies on the achieved profits and fuel savings. Our results show that subsidies are an effective mean to boost fuel savings from platooning. Moreover, the simulation study indicates that high pricing corresponds to a low platooning rate of the system, as trucks' incentives for platooning decrease. © 2023 The Authors. Fruit harvesting poses a significant labor and financial burden on the fruit industry, which underscore the urgent need for advancements in robotic harvesting solutions. Despite considerable progress in leveraging deep learning and machine learning techniques for fruit detection, a common shortfall is the inability to swiftly extend the developed models across different orchards and/or various fruit species. Additionally, the limited availability of pertinent data further compounds these challenges. In this work, we introduce MetaFruit, the largest publicly available multi-class fruit dataset, comprising 4,248 images and 248,015 manually labeled instances across diverse U.S. orchards. Furthermore, this study proposes an innovative open-set fruit detection system leveraging advanced Vision Foundation Models (VFMs) for fruit detection that can adeptly identify a wide array of fruit types under varying orchard conditions. This system not only demonstrates remarkable adaptability in learning from minimal data through few-shot learning but also shows the ability to interpret human instructions for subtle detection tasks. The performance of the developed foundation model is comprehensively evaluated across several metrics, outperforming existing state-of-the-art algorithms in our MetaFruit, thereby setting a new benchmark in the field of agricultural technology and robotic harvesting. The MetaFruit dataset (https://***/datasets/jiajiali/metafruit) and detection framework (https://***/JiajiaLi04/FMFruit) are open-sourced to foster future research in vision-based fruit harvesting, marking a significant stride toward addressing the urgent needs of the agricultural sector. © 2024 ASABE Annual International Meeting. Differential privacy is a widely used framework for evaluating privacy loss in data anonymization. While the continuous noise-adding mechanism has been extensively studied, there is a dearth of research on discrete random mechanisms for discretely distributed data. This study addresses this gap by examining the primary differential privacy conditions and properties for general discrete random mechanisms, and investigating the trade-off between data privacy and data utility. We establish sufficient and necessary conditions for discrete ϵ-differential privacy and sufficient conditions for discrete (ϵδ)-differential privacy, with closed-form expressions for differential privacy parameters. These conditions can be applied to evaluate the differential privacy properties of discrete noise-adding mechanisms with various types of noise. Moreover, we propose an optimal discrete ϵ-differential private noise-adding mechanism under the utility-maximization framework. Here, the utility is characterized by the similarity of the statistical properties between the mechanism's input and output. Our findings suggest that the optimal class of discrete noise probability distributions in the mechanism is staircase-shaped. © 1991-2012 IEEE.

This paper proposes a novel online-learning-enabled hierarchical distributionally robust energy management framework for multi-microgrids (MMGs) with off-site hydrogen refueling stations (HRSs). The proposed framework integrates day-ahead scheduling, intra-day rescheduling and real-time control. The day-ahead scheduling is implemented via a central energy management system for optimal joint scheduling of the MMG systems and off-site HRSs, then the intra-day rescheduling is carried out to optimize the real-time operation and to generate the reference for local controllers. To adequately characterize the statistical properties of renewable and load uncertainties from data streams, we leverage a Dirichlet process mixture model to construct an online-update ambiguity set, which encodes multimodality and local moment information. Based upon this ambiguity set, an online-learning distributionally robust model predictive control (OL-DRMPC) is developed to enhance the tracking performance of energy storage references and to reduce conservatism while guaranteeing probabilistic operational constraints. Its effectiveness is verified in a case study. © 2022 IEEE.
