This paper deals with the controller design problem for Markovian jump systems subject to partial unknown transition probabilities and actuator saturation. Different from the previous results where complete knowledge on the transition probabilities is available, a new controller synthesis scheme is proposed as well as an estimate of the domain of attraction in mean square sense. A sufficient condition is first established to guarantee the stochastic stability of the closed-loop system. An optimization problem with LMI constraints is then formulated to determine the largest contractively invariant set in mean square sense. Finally, a numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness of our method.

Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a technique for reconstructing conductivity of an inhomogeneous medium by injecting currents at the boundary of an object and measuring the resulting changes in voltage. The SNR of acquisitive data and the reconstructed image quality of EIT system are directly determined by current drive patterns. In this paper, eight current drive patterns with the same boundary voltage measurement strategy have been studied. The isopotential lines, the number of independent measurements, measured voltage dynamic range, voltage change with conductivity change and reconstructed image quality of these patterns are compared, through which an optimal current drive pattern was obtained.

Hydrostatic transmissions, also called hydrostatic gears, have been widely used in mobile working machines and off-road vehicles such as construction and agricultural machines. This kind of transmission offers important advantages like continuously variable transmission with high power density, maximum tractive force at low speeds and reversing without changing gear. The automatic electronic control of hydrostatic transmissions, which depend on a number of measurable values, has become more common in industrial practice. To ensure the reliability and safety at least a two-channel redundant system for the measuring channels is required. In this paper, a general model-based approach using a Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy observer for analytical redundancy of the oil pressure measuring process in hydrostatic transmissions is developed. It has been shown by experimental results that this approach can be used to estimate the pressure values under varying load conditions and different driving situations.

The need of continuous blood pressure measurement is usable in wide spectrum of applications from physicians practice to home care applications. Many types of blood pressure measurement devices can be bought in electronics shops. All such devices are contact measurement devices which need to be in contact of human body (hand or foot mainly). Secondary they allow only one measurement per several minutes interval (typically ones in 10 minutes). Our goal is to develop a small device for noninvasive continuous measurement of blood pressure. This device must be a small battery powered embedded system which measure a blood pressure during a long time period and send this information remotely to operator's stations. We would like to try two systems of blood pressure monitoring. The first one is system with NIR CCD camera (Near Infra Red), which measure the wide changes of the blood vessels and the second one is system, which measure the pulse transmit time (PTT). At the end we can compare the systems and get information, which system will be a right way to obtain exact continuous blood pressure information.

They are divided by types of controlling systems, by speed of action interference, by complexity, by robustness etc. Most of industrial controllers are very expensive and except of some basic setting they are not offering any other way, how to involve into controlling process. On the other side, developing new analog controller to control simple systems is not reasonable in financial or time issue. That's why we decided to build simple, discrete controller and implement its algorithm into single chip eight bit microcontroller (MCU). This discrete controller - PSD - is characteristic its simplicity and variability. It can control plenty of less complicated systems by a mere change of its characteristic parameters. Thanks to modern approach is possible to create a full-featured controller including power action element on an area equal to 7cm 2 .

The algorithm is based on mathematical morphological, and realized on Visual c++ and GDI+ platform. The distance of the scanning line we got in the original graphic is in accordance with our expectation, and the scanning time is not more than ***. Such stability and accuracy is originated from the core portion of the algorithm that is one-step scanning which makes each closed contour widen inspired by the thought of corrosion expansion algorithm and is aplicable to any curves so that assure reliability, such widen size is in accordance to scanning distance setted by users. This article can be divided into three parts: basics introduction, algorithm design, implementation. The results of numerous circular-scanning examples verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.

This paper deals with a possibility of non-destructive diagnostics of solid objects by software analysis of vibration spectrum by accelerometers. By a use of MATLAB platform, a processing and information evaluation from accelerometer is possible. Accelerometer is placed on the measured object. The analog signal needs to be digitized by a special I/O device to be processed offline with FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation). The power spectrum is then examined by developed evaluating procedures.
