Camshaft is the key component of automobile engine valve timing mechanism, whose machining precision will affect overall performance of automobile engine. This paper presents a kind of camshaft journals multi-parameters measuring instrument based on the actual requirement of camshaft production. The camshaft measuring instrument was auto measuring instrument composed of pneumatic control system, precision measurement system and computer-aided measurement system, which was developed for measuring journal diameter, roundness, conicity, journal radial runout relative to center holes connection, and number 2, 3, 4 journal radial runout relative to number 1 and 5 journal center connection, etc. The measurement repetition and stability were perfect, it was fit for high precision and fast measurement at production site.

This paper investigates all kinds of access entrance guard control systems at home and abroad and analyzes their advantages and disadvantages. COVID-19 epidemic has a serious impact on life, travel must wear a mask, so that the access entrance guard control system can not carry out face recognition under the mask. In view of this kind of situation, an embedded face recognition access entrance guard control system with mask based on EAIDK-310 development board is designed. The system can complete face recognition and body temperature measurement without contact, and drive the motor to open the gate. After testing, the system is suitable for deployment in companies, communities, campuses and other small application scenarios. This paper explores black-box domain adaptation (BBDA) for cross-domain on-device machinery fault diagnosis. Specifically, a pre-trained black-box source model is deployed on a cloud platform with only its input-output API accessible, and a randomly initialized target model is trained locally utilizing unlabeled target data on an edge device. In BBDA, neither raw data nor model parameters are transmitted across domains, and the only available supervised information for adaptation is API-queried predictions on unlabeled target data. However, API-queried predictions are inevitably noisy and class-imbalanced due to cross-domain distribution discrepancy and inherent category bias. Directly utilizing them for on-device training easily leads to confirmation bias, thereby degrading performance. This paper proposes a h ierarchical d ebiased s elf- s upervised l earning framework for BBDA from a novel research perspective of concurrently alleviating both confirmation and category biases. Specifically, debiased knowledge distillation is proposed to gradually enhance discriminability of the randomly initialized target model by providing debiased training predictions. An adaptive category-unbiased sample division strategy is devised to divide unlabeled target data into certain-aware and uncertain-aware sets, enabling fully exploiting intrinsic data structures and utilizing underlying sample relationships within the target domain. On this basis, debiased prototypical self-training is proposed for the certain-aware set to obtain pseudo-labels for self-training, leveraging global semantic structure. Hierarchical neighborhood adaptation is customized for the uncertain-aware set to enforce the cluster assumption for noise refinement, exploiting local clustering structure. Extensive experiments and analyses on public and practical datasets validate the proposed framework’s superiority in cross-domain generalization performance and practicality in on-device training efficiency.

A solar cell lock-in carrierographic image generation theory based on the concept of non-equilibrium radiation chemical potential was developed. An optoelectronic diode expression was derived linking the emitted radiative recombination photon flux (current density), the solar conversion efficiency, and the external load resistance via the closed- and/or open-circuit photovoltage. The expression was shown to be of a structure similar to the conventional electrical photovoltaic I-V equation, thereby allowing the carrierographic image to be used in a quantitative statistical pixel brightness distribution analysis with outcome being the non-contacting measurement of mean values of these important parameters averaged over the entire illuminated solar cell surface. This is the optoelectronic equivalent of the electrical (contacting) measurement method using an external resistor circuit and the outputs of the solar cell electrode grid, the latter acting as an averaging distribution network over the surface. The statistical theory was confirmed using multi-crystalline Si solar cells. © 2012 American Institute of Physics.

Robust Vehicle Detection in High-Resolution Aerial Images With Imbalanced Data

Vehicle detection in images from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) plays an important role in traffic surveillance and urban planning due to the popularity of UAVs. However, the class imbalance problem is an important factor that restricts the performance of vehicle detectors. There are two types of class imbalance in UAV images, i.e., foreground-background imbalance and foreground-foreground imbalance. For anchor-based single stage detector, as many ground truths cannot be assigned to corresponding anchors because of low intersection over union, it makes the foreground-background imbalance problem more severe. Therefore, we propose a novel bag-based single-stage detector, which treats each position on the feature map as a bag. A simple and adaptive definition of bags is proposed along with the positive sample definition method, which is utilized to ensure more ground truths can be assigned to proper bags. In addition, we utilize online hard example mining method to control the proportion of positive and negative samples during the training process. To address the foreground-foreground imbalance, we propose a novel data augmentation algorithm, which allows us to create appropriate visual context for under-represented class. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm, compared with other state-of-the-art solutions. Impact Statement-Recently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are widely used in intelligent transportation due to their low price and high flexibility, which makes vehicle detection in UAV images important for automatically gathering of traffic information. However, the class imbalance problem, which is common in object detection where some classes have far fewer frequencies in the dataset, has an adverse effect on the performance of vehicle detectors. Two-phase flow measurement has attracted a major interest in the past four decades due to its wide range of applications in industry. This paper introduces a new method to separate the gas phase from the liquid phase through a blind source separation algorithm, without a separate device, based on the assumption that the two phases are separated and their independence is reflected in the statistical relation between the electrical signals generated by the process. Experimental data are obtained from a gasliquid two-phase flow rig through electrical resistance tomography (ERT). An independent component analysis (ICA) method is applied to separate the gas phase from the liquid phase. The efficiency of the ICA method with the ERT data is assessed through experiments. The independent components (ICs) are interpreted by comparing them with the reconstructed images by ERT. The comparative studies show that ICA is effective in extracting phase information of gasliquid two-phase flow, particularly for stratified, slug, and wave flows. Based on the extracted ICs, the cross-correlation technique is adopted to estimate the mean velocity of the liquid phase in the central area, the gas phase at the interface, and the liquid phase around the pipe wall and the liquid slug. Through correlating ICs representing different spatially independent processes from the upstream and downstream planes after the elimination of cyclostationary characteristics of ICs, the mean velocity of different spatially processes is obtained. © 2006 IEEE.

The time limit of the transient process (TP) in the measuring circuit (MC) is determined by known criteria. These criteria use a first-order dynamic link model. Typically, this model is a priori model for the measurement problems discussed above. In on-line mode, the interval criterion (IC) is used. There is a limitation in the form of a critical value of the time constant (TC) to apply the criterion. Previously, it was found that such a restriction exists for the MC model in the form of a dynamic link of the second order. The functional dependence of the critical value on the parameter in the form of the ratio of the second-order dynamic link TC model was found. This restriction on the use of IC develops the fact that there is such a restriction for MC with a first-order model. It is advisable to analyze the performance of the IC for the third-order MC model. These models are widely used in the simulation of measuring channels. Thus, it is possible to generalize such studies. In this study we used a model with transfer function presented in terms of the diagram Vyshnegradsky with parameters 'A' and 'B'. In this paper, the IC is analyzed for the area of the aperiodic regime of the MC. The simulation results showed that the functional dependence of the critical value on the parameters is presented as a complex surface. For the bisector of the diagram at A and B>8, the critical value is stabilized and set at the level characteristic of the first order model. Based on the information about the behavior of the critical value of the interval criterion for MC with structural uncertainty, it is possible to construct robust algorithms that implement IC. The time limit of the transient process (TP) in the measuring circuit (MC) is determined by known criteria. These criteria use a first-order dynamic coupling model. Typically, this model is apriori model for the measurement problems discussed above. © 2019 IEEE.

In this paper, we consider the global output feedback stabilization problem for a class of nonlinear planar systems under a more general growth condition. The nonlinearities in such a system are bounded by both lower-order and higher-order terms with an output-dependent growth rate. This problem is solved by integrating the feedback domination technique and a novel dual observer approach, where two individual observers are constructed in parallel with one estimating the linear part of the unmeasurable state and the other estimating the higher-order part. Moreover, the presented observers and the output feedback controller all have nonlinear gains. Simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed stabilization scheme. Copyright © 2013 IFAC.

This paper is concerned with the stability analysis and controller design for a class of discrete-time Markovian jump systems subject to incomplete knowledge of transition probabilities. Different from the previous results, some free-weighting matrices are introduced to obtain some new criteria with less conservatism. It is theoretically shown that the previous results are special cases if the free-weighting matrices are chosen to be some special forms. This brings much less conservatism compared with the previous ones. A numerical example is provided to show the effectiveness the proposed method. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.
