The authors are developing a hardware and software complex that combines the operating layouts of various systems of the 'Smart City': transport, housing and public utilities, industry, agriculture. Sensors and actuators of the layout programmatically interact with each other and with the dispatcher's console via data exchange modules using various wired and wireless communication protocols. This paper performs a comparative analysis of Android mobile forensics tools which are used for acquisition and analyzing of Android mobile devices. The major challenges of Android forensics investigation are manufacturing of Android devices with various operating system versions and there is no single tool which can be used for all sorts of Android devices. Aiming to overcome these challenges and increase more accuracy and integrity in Android forensic investigation, we made comparative analysis on both open source tools and one commercial tool. Logical and physical acquisition methods were utilized to acquire data from Android devices. Android Debug Bridge backup, Linux Data Duplicator utility tool, Magnet Acquire and Belkasoft Acquisition tools were used for acquisition. Two popular analyzing tools such as Autopsy and Belkasoft Evidence Center were utilized to analyze acquired data. The results show that using multiple tools can get more accuracy and integrity of artifacts which is forensically sound. © 2020 IEEE.

Fabrication grammars: bridging design and robotics to control emergent material expressions

Designers physically engage with a material to experience how certain characteristics allow the fabrication of unique expressions. In digital fabrication, however, this improvisational negotiation is typically replaced by a virtual simulation that predicts how a material expression can be fabricated, limiting the resulting design language to algorithmic forms. In contrast, we believe that digital fabrication can also produce ‘emergent’ material expressions that are so confounded that they appear slightly differently even when being produced by identical operations. This paper argues that such expressions can be executed by a domain-driven feedback paradigm, which integrates a human-in-the-loop to encode the tacit fabrication knowledge that is generated by reviewing intermediate outcomes. We encode this tacit knowledge by fabrication grammars, rule-based descriptions that causally relate fabrication parameters to qualitative descriptions of material expressions. By documenting a set of Single Point Incremental Forming experiments, this paper demonstrates how emergent material expressions can be controlled by semantically meaningful fabrication grammars, which even can be combined towards purposeful design goals. We believe our findings might allow the digital fabrication of material expressions that appear to have been produced manually or naturally; and support the future sharing of tacit fabrication knowledge.

In counteraction to the increasing threat of cyber terrorism, the modeling to be predicted in guessing the predictive models for estimating the incidence of cyber-attacks for enterprise network in Myanmar are seriously needed. Although we need these models, there is no record of attacks, defenseless, outcome and threat to utilize the developing predictive models and authentication. The main purpose of this research is to determine whether SOC (Security Operation Center) manager uses cyber security model by using SOC results figures to prepare further cyber defense and incident response plan. The goal of this study was achieved by conducting experiments on various cyber-attacks occurred in security operation center of Industrial control System (ICS). © 2020 IEEE.

The article dwells upon a problem of reliability of automatic control systems used in the power supply units of spacecrafts. Preserving the survivability of these systems in the process of long autonomous functioning assumes not only a quantitative reservation of their units but the relevant structural organization of their interaction too. The most perfect prototypes of such organization are the biological systems possessing the attribute of homeostasis, i.e., an ability of adaptation to the changing living conditions. Hence, we discuss here the way of realization of this attribute in a control system of spacecraft power supply based on the principles of modularity, hierarchy and the division of functions that are the elements composing the evolutionary concept of multialternativity. The system itself is a multilevel structure with modular components at each level. Transfer of control functions between different modules and levels of a system is carried out automatically depending on the current value of power consumption, opacity of solar panels and the existence of faulty units in the system. When power sources are not sufficient for full provision of all consumers, the system continues it's functioning with the increased value of regulation error until some critical threshold value is reached and after that the system is triggered to the mode of limited power supply. The problem of stability of such system with a variable structure is solved by way of transfer to an active condition of that part of the whole system which is sufficient for active regulation of power output. The identity of modules provides the invariance of dynamic properties of a system in the whole range of a workload. Moreover, the formation of unblocked sub-ranges or zones of active regulation for each module prevents possible avalanche failures in the system. © 2019 IEEE.

Mathematical model of an isolated regional economy functioning in the conditions of an inter-branch balance is constructed. To reproduce non-equilibrium dynamic states of the economy operating influences are entered into this model, they are: directive investments into selected branches, general investments distributed on a competitive basis, innovative activity of branches and the volume of government's purchases. Other involved influences are: the multiplier of pent-up demand for the production and for final consumption, the limiter of demand for final consumption, the limiter of the constraining production consumption. Changes in the trajectories of the competing branches development under the influence of external investments, internal innovative activity and government purchases are also analyzed. An existence of the steady attracting separatrix of the trajectories of the movement in the phase space of gross production is shown. The analysis results gave way to a valid conclusion concerning the coordination of the development rates of the branches by means interrelations of their production and the possibility of formation, by means of external management, of an optimum - in the sense of its preset limits - trajectory of the regional economic development as a multi-agent system in which each agent is not interested in a deviation from the general main trajectory. © 2019 IEEE.

Internal Model control algorithms have numerous advantages, linked to the simplicity of the tuning procedure, the intrinsic dead-time compensation, reasonable robustness. In this paper, a novel idea for tuning an optimized IMC filter for input or load disturbance rejection is used and validated experimentally on a poorly damped process, an active suspension system. The core principle of the design is that the disturbance filter compensates for the process dead-times, provided that the disturbances have a stochastic nature with the spectral energy centered in a narrow frequency band (such as quasi-periodic disturbances). Diophantine equations are used to compute the disturbance filter coefficients. The experimental results show that the novel IMC controller improves the rejection capabilities of the standard default IMC algorithm. Validation is performed considering variations in the disturbance frequency. An adaptive suspension control situation is also tested, with an adapted IMC controller improving even further the disturbance attenuation properties of the proposed optimized IMC. © 2020 EUCA.

In this paper, it is shown that a formation control problem can be handled in the framework of ratio control theory for the first time in literature. We define a ratio control problem from the formation control task that aims to maintain the relative positions of the agents during formation motion. It is shown that the basic objective of a ratio control, which is to keep the ratio between the outputs of two processes equal to a desired value, is similar to the one of Formation control Structures (FCSs). Motivated with this resemblance, we firstly analyze widely employed Ratio Stations (RSs) and show that the presented RSs naturally define directional or bi-directional communication topologies. Thus, the RSs are symmetric or asymmetric FCSs. In the light of these findings, we propose a novel RS-FCS to solve a real-time formation problem of two nano quadcopter agents during formation motion. Various comparative results are presented to show that the proposed RS- FCSs result with satisfactory formation performances.

The paper discusses the development of a mathematical model of the solar battery as an object of control being an integral part of the spacecraft power supply system. The paper analyses the internal structure of a photocell and its equivalent circuit taking into account the photo element distributed capacity and overall inductance of the internal connections. Complete nonlinear mathematical model of the solar battery in its analytical form has been construed considering the p-n junction inverse current and photocells impedance. The ratios obtained allow the immediate visualization of voltage changes at the solar battery output depending on the loading current, light stream intensity and photocells temperature as a result of the solution of the system of implicit equations. A total complex impedance of photovoltaic cells is entered into the simulation model to reflect the solar battery dynamic properties. Basing on the actual technical parameters of photocells and the solar battery the volt-ampere characteristics have been drawn and the analysis of frequency characteristics of photo-electric converters has been made confirming the adequacy to the proposed model. Recommendations have been received concerning the choice of frequency of the pulse width converters interfaced to solar batteries in the spacecrafts onboard power supply systems, together with the equivalent circuits convenient for the imitating simulation of these systems.

Biofuel-based heat sources are gradually penetrated into heating systems in Northern China in the background of carbon neutrality. It is essential to conduct biofuel risk management study, not only for enhancing the ability of continuous heat supply for heating systems, but also improving the ability of effective cost control. A biofuel risk management model is thus proposed innovatively for biomass-based heat sources considering supply-demand-side uncertainties. The developed model integrates Chance-constrained programming, Two-stage stochastic programming and the traditional linear programming into a general framework. After that, the developed model is applied in to a real heat-source case of biofuel risk management under uncertainties and the corresponding solutions on biofuel risk management are generated. The beneficial results of biofuel allocation pattern can be obtained for decision-makers to provide the fuel management support under different risk levels. Besides, a trade-off analysis between the constraint-violation risk and the system cost can also be provided to conduct in-depth analysis.
