Charged Particle Location Modeling Based Experiment Plan Acquisition Method

The method of obtaining the plan of experiments in multidimensional space is proposed. Our method is based on assumptions of uniform distribution of charged particles in infinite space. To receive the plan of experiments, the infinite multidimensional space is replaced with a hypercube whose surface models influence of infinite space. The software is developed and practical results, in two-dimensional space are acquired. There are no basic problems to carry out calculations in multidimensional space.

The systems of linear equations are a classic section of numerical methods which was already known BC. It reached its highest peak around 1600-1700 due to the public demand for solutions of technical and engineering tasks, nevertheless, it is still topical nowadays. This paper describes another iterative approach to solving linear systems, which is based in the multiple transfers of the solution proximity point towards the solution itself, simultaneously reducing the differences of all the system equations.

In recent years, as Cloud Computing and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies develop rapidly, smart home technology has entered a new stage: smart electric power usage, which will break the traditional extensive management situation for electric power loads, particularly under the background of an energy crisis. People will gradually gravitate towards the demands for more energy-related and intelligent services in smart home systems such as energy saving, improved understanding of electrical consumption and electrical safety of appliances. When the power consumption is considered by a smart grid, detailed electrical information of power loads will be perceived for demand management and optimization. To address these issues, measuring and monitoring the power of residential individual appliances are highly demanded by many applications.

Reference Tracking using a Non-Cooperative Distributed Model Predictive control Algorithm

In this paper, a non-cooperative distributed model predictive control (DMPC) algorithm for tracking constant references is developed and evaluated. As such, an augmented model is employed (i.e. the control loop is embedded with integrators) and the augmented state contains the state increments and the error between the reference and the predicted output. The algorithm is tested in real life experiments on the quadruple tank process with non-minimum phase behaviour. The experimental results show acceptable performance index for the DMPC method when compared with the centralized approach. © 2016

One of the key subsystems from point of view of security of the complex IoT system is the smart business center (SB?) system. Some problems the design and operation of the SBC system are analyzed. When analysis of safety of the IoT system must take into account the reliability and security of the system at several levels: The level of sensors, the level of communication (communication lines, router, switch), the server level as the control device of components of the network, the level of the entire SBC subsystem. General architecture of network of the SB? is described. Reliability and security of key SB? hardwareand software manufacturers are analysed. In particular, security issue for SB? routers is considered. Shown the Markov model, which takes into account the technical conditions of typical network components of the SBC with the presence of software vulnerabilities when exposed to hacker attacks. On this model's basis it is possible to conduct further researches directed for improving the reliability operation and safety of IoT. ©2016 IEEE.

A widespread use of the cloud computing paradigm has increased the necessity and significance of improving the management efficiency of cloud infrastructures. Special attention is paid to solving cloud resource management problems. In this paper, authors present an architecture of Software Defined Cloud Infrastructure management system that leverages Software Defined approach in all subsystems: network, storage, and computation. Due to the intensive changes of virtual machine (VM) workloads and different conditions of resource utilization the VM placement and migration problems should be solved and optimized continuously in an online manner. To address such problems the authors propose novel heuristics for VM placement and consolidation based on a physical machine (PM) workload prediction. The authors also evaluate a particular policy of the VM allocation in a data center using an adaptive genetic algorithm. The proposed adaptive Software Defined approach to the cloud infrastructure management is implemented by using the policy selector that allows to select different algorithms or policies for resources and virtual machines management in order to adapt to the impact of disturbing influences.

The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology that is designed to improve the quality of consumer's life and also to improve economic indicators and productivity of enterprises, for more efficient use of their resources. In this paper the authors propose an approach to Microcloud-based IoT infrastructure management which provides the required quality of IT services with rational use of IT resources. The proposed approach is based on decomposition-compensation method in which the task of operational service quality management is to maintain a given level of service quality with the use of minimum IT resources amount in IoT environment. Thus the maximum efficiency can be achieved by selecting such control when actual level of service corresponds to the agreed one with the business unit and can be achieved by minimal costs. The proposed approach allows the efficient use of resources for IT services provision in IoT ecosystem through the implementation of service level coordination, resource planning and service level management processes in an integrated IT infrastructure management system. The main goal of this paper is to propose Microcloud-based IoT infrastructure resource management approach using decomposition-compensation method.

This paper presents the modelling and identification procedure applied to a coupled, non-minimum phase system consisting of six water tanks. This process is composed of three inter-connected sub-systems coupled through the inputs. Using the process description, the theoretical nonlinear model was derived and linearised around a chosen operating point. After that, a three part experiment was conducted on the sextuple plant from Quanser in which one of the system's inputs was varied while the others remained constant. The experimental data was used to compute the system's static characteristic which describes the output variation limits for different input values. Then, the dynamic characteristic was used to analyse the system evolution in transient time to provide insight knowledge about the model orders required in the parametric identification. The results obtained clearly show that the computed linear model proper characterizes the dynamics of the real process and can be further used in simulations.

This paper presents the application of fractional calculus tools, i.e. fractional order impedance and Cole-Cole elements to detect, measure and estimate glucose concentrations by means of electrochemistry. Fractional calculus can provide a concise model for the description of the dynamic events that occur in biological tissues. The concepts of fractional calculus has been successfully applied in physics, chemistry and material science, electrodes and viscolelastic materials over extended ranges of time and frequency. In this paper, the fractional order impedance model is presented and compared with the measured impedance. The model parameters are related to various physical conditions of the test-cells and a baseline measurements along with blind evaluation are presented. The results indicate that the proposed model is valid in a limited range of frequencies and generalization for higher order models is possible.
