Localisation of machines in harsh Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)environment is necessary for various ***,a novel localisation algorithm is proposed for noisy range measurements in IIoT *** position of an unknown machine device in the network is estimated using the relative distances between blind machines(BMs)and anchor machines(AMs).Moreover,a more practical and challenging scenario with the erroneous position of AM is considered,which brings additional uncertainty to the final position ***,the AMs selection algorithm for the localisation of BMs in the IIoT network is *** those AMs will participate in the localisation process,which increases the accuracy of the final location ***,the closed‐form expression of the proposed greedy successive anchorization process is derived,which prevents possible local convergence,reduces computation,and achieves Cramér‐Rao lower bound accuracy for white Gaussian measurement *** results are compared with the state‐of‐the‐art and verified through numerous simulations.

Ischemic heart disease(IHD)is one of the leading causes of death ***,different geographic regions show different variations of the risk factors of this disease based on the different lifestyles of *** study examines the current IHD condition in southern Bangladesh,a Southeast Asian middle-income *** main approach to this research is an Al-based proposal of a reduced set of the greatest impact clinical traits that may cause *** approach attempts to reduce IHD morbidity and mortality by early detection of risk factors using the reduced set of clinical ***,diagnostic,and symptomatic features were considered for analysing this clinical *** pre-processing utilizes several machine learning techniques to select significant features and make meaningful interpretations.A proposed voting mechanism ranked the selected 138 features by their impact *** this regard,diverse patterns in correlations with variables,including age,sex,career,family history,obesity,etc.,were calculated and explained in terms of voting *** the 138 risk factors,three labels were categorized:high-risk,medium-risk,and low-risk features;19 features were regarded as high,25 were medium,and 94 were considered low impactful *** research's technological methodology and practical goals provide an innovative and resilient framework for addressing IHD,especially in less developed cities and townships of Bangladesh,where the general population's socioeconomic conditions are often *** data collection,pre-processing,and use of this study's complete and comprehensive IHD patient dataset is another innovative *** believe that other relevant research initiatives will benefit from this work.

In this paper, we present a novel contribution to the problem of the detection of potential anomalous cosmic rays particle tracks acquired by Earth-scale complex distributed observatory infrastructure. Detection of such signals provides an opportunity to analyze the performance of the entire research infrastructure of a complex system (for example, potential failures) and a chance to record unknown physical phenomena that can be recorded simultaneously with space radiation observations. The observatory comprises a worldwide network of CMOS detectors cooperating in the citizen science paradigm. We propose, evaluate, and compare several data processing, feature extractions, and potential anomaly discovery pipelines based on machine learning approaches. Although, to date, there have already been published works performing detection and analysis of anomalies in the Cosmic Ray Extremely Distributed Observatory Project (CREDO) dataset, they applied single methods without comparing the results with other possible approaches to analyze potential anomalies. In this work, for the first time, we have used and discussed many anomalous discovery approaches not previously applied to this issue to perform analysis of this extensive dataset (nearly 600,000 images). For this reason, the results published here are of significant cognitive importance to the problem under consideration. During the last decade, the use of social media has exploded. One of the internet’s most popular and accessible social media sites is Twitter in which people can have micro-blog to post their views on any subject, called a tweet. Indonesia becomes one of country which has the most active user of social media. On the other side, Indonesia has experienced a great deal of natural disasters because it is located in a pacific ring of fire. It is needed effective disaster management used in Indonesia, especially with the help of social media data. Big data analysis obtained during turbulent and unorganized emergency situations is the perfect fit for effective management. During a disaster, it is vital to manage the proper decision to help people affected with their needs. This research investigated some methods used in social media analysis and then apply deep learning model for supervised tasks which classify the related and unrelated disasters on tweet datasets and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) for unsupervised learning which extracts the details category on the disaster Twitter data. The LSTM model architecture obtained a higher score accuracy than CNN. Moreover, the LDA topic modeling obtained potential results on the details topic from the datasets which could describe useful information to help disaster management. © 2023 IEEE.

Changes in the Atmospheric Electric Field Signal(AEFS)are highly correlated with weather changes,especially with thunderstorm ***,little attention has been paid to the ambiguous weather information implicit in AEFS *** this paper,a Fuzzy C-Means(FCM)clustering method is used for the first time to develop an innovative approach to characterize the weather attributes carried by ***,a time series dataset is created in the time domain using AEFS *** AEFS-based weather is evaluated according to the time-series Membership Degree(MD)changes obtained by inputting this dataset into the ***,thunderstorm intensities are reflected by the change in distance from a thunderstorm cloud point charge to an AEF ***,a matching relationship is established between the normalized distance and the thunderstorm dominant MD in the space ***,the rationality and reliability of the proposed method are verified by combining radar charts and expert *** results confirm that this method accurately characterizes the weather attributes and changes in the AEFS,and a negative distance-MD correlation is obtained for the first *** detection of thunderstorm activity by AEF from the perspective of fuzzy set technology provides a meaningful guidance for interpretable thunderstorms.

The Internet of Things (IoT) stands as a revolutionary leap in digital connectivity, envisioning a future network connecting billions of devices, seamlessly. Amidst the myriad benefits, there arises an intricate web of challenges, prominently centered around potential threats and data security implications. Recent cryptography techniques, such as DNA-based cryptography, 3D chaos-based cryptography, and optical cryptography, face challenges including large encryption times, high energy consumption, and suboptimal rather than optimal performance. Particularly, the burden of long encryption cycles strains the energy resources of typical low-power and compact IoT devices. These challenges render the devices vulnerable to unauthorized breaches, despite large storage capacities. The hallmark of the IoT ecosystem, characterized by its low-power compact devices, is the burgeoning volume of data they generate. This escalating data influx, while necessitating expansive storage, remains vulnerable to unauthorized access and breaches. Historically, encryption algorithms, with their multifaceted architectures, have been the bulwark against such intrusions. However, their inherently-complex nature, entailing multiple encryption cycles, strains the limited energy reserves of typical IoT devices. In response to this intricate dilemma, we present a hybrid lightweight encryption strategy. Our algorithm innovatively leverages both one-dimensional (1D) and two-dimensional (2D) chaotic key generators. Furthermore, it amalgamates a classical encryption philosophy, harmonizing the strengths of Feistel and substitution-permutation networks. The centerpiece of our strategy is achieving effective encryption in merely three rounds, tailored expressly for compressed Three-Dimensional Video (3DV) frames, ensuring their unwavering integrity. Background: Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD) requires precise and efficient diagnostic tools. The manual analysis of Electrocardiograms (ECGs) is labor-intensive, necessitating the development of automated methods to enhance diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Objective: This research aimed to develop an automated ECG classification using Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) and Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN), and transform 1D ECG signals into 2D spectrograms using CWT and train a DCNN to accurately detect abnormalities associated with CVD. The DCNN is trained on datasets from PhysioNet and the MIT-BIH arrhythmia dataset. The integrated CWT and DCNN enable simultaneous classification of multiple ECG abnormalities along-side normal signals. Material and Methods: This analytical observational research employed CWT to generate spectrograms from 1D ECG signals, as input to a DCNN trained on di-verse datasets. The model is evaluated using performance metrics, such as precision, specificity, recall, overall accuracy, and F1-score. Results: The proposed algorithm demonstrates remarkable performance metrics with a precision of 100% for normal signals, an average specificity of 100%, an average recall of 97.65%, an average overall accuracy of 98.67%, and an average F1-score of 98.81%. This model achieves an approximate average overall accuracy of 98.67%, highlighting its effectiveness in detecting ***: The integration of CWT and DCNN in ECG classification improves accuracy and classification capabilities, addressing the challenges with manual analy-sis. This algorithm can reduce misdiagnoses in primary care and enhance efficiency in larger medical institutions. By contributing to automated diagnostic tools for cardiovascular disorders, it can significantly improve healthcare practices in the field of CVD detection. © Journal of biomedical Physics and engineering.

An ensemble deep learning model for cyber threat hunting in industrial internet of things

By the emergence of the fourth industrial revolution,interconnected devices and sensors generate large-scale,dynamic,and inharmonious data in Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)*** vast heterogeneous data increase the challenges of security risks and data analysis *** IIoT grows,cyber-attacks become more diverse and complex,making existing anomaly detection models less effective to *** this paper,an ensemble deep learning model that uses the benefits of the Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)and the AutoEncoder(AE)architecture to identify out-of-norm activities for cyber threat hunting in IIoT is *** this model,the LSTM is applied to create a model on normal time series of data(past and present data)to learn normal data patterns and the important features of data are identified by AE to reduce data *** addition,the imbalanced nature of IIoT datasets has not been considered in most of the previous literature,affecting low accuracy and *** solve this problem,the proposed model extracts new balanced data from the imbalanced datasets,and these new balanced data are fed into the deep LSTM AE anomaly detection *** this paper,the proposed model is evaluated on two real IIoT datasets-Gas Pipeline(GP)and Secure Water Treatment(SWaT)that are imbalanced and consist of long-term and short-term dependency on *** results are compared with conventional machine learning classifiers,Random Forest(RF),Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP),Decision Tree(DT),and Super Vector Machines(SVM),in which higher performance in terms of accuracy is obtained,99.3%and 99.7%based on GP and SWaT datasets,***,the proposed ensemble model is compared with advanced related models,including Stacked Auto-Encoders(SAE),Naive Bayes(NB),Projective Adaptive Resonance Theory(PART),Convolutional Auto-Encoder(C-AE),and Package Signatures(PS)based LSTM(PS-LSTM)model.
