Due to its importance in studying people’s thoughts on various Web 2.0 services, emotion classification is a critical undertaking. Most existing research is focused on the English language, with little work on low-resource languages. Though sentiment analysis, particularly emotion classification in English, has received increasing attention in recent years, little study has been done in the context of Bangla, one of the world’s most widely spoken languages. In this research, we propose a complete set of approaches for identifying and extracting emotions from Bangla texts. We provide a Bangla emotion classifier for six classes, i.e., anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise, from Bangla words using transformer-based models, which exhibit phenomenal results in recent days, especially for high-resource languages. The Unified Bangla Multi-class Emotion Corpus (UBMEC) is used to assess the performance of our models. UBMEC is created by combining two previously released manually labelled datasets of Bangla comments on six emotion classes with fresh manually labelled Bangla comments created by us. The corpus dataset and code we used in this work are publicly available.

To address the issue of sensitivity to external interference and noise in traditional moving object recognition and tracking algorithms, this paper proposes a novel algorithm that combines Image Fusion-based Frame Difference (IFD) with Differential Translation Transformation (DTT). Firstly, image enhancement and noise reduction are applied to adjust contrast and brightness in the images of moving objects. Subsequently, the IFD algorithm is employed to adjust the blending of new frame with the background, smoothly fusing them. Pixel differences between the fusion frame and the background are calculated to identify moving objects in the image. Matching is performed between the target areas obtained by the IFD algorithm based on pixel displacement differences between consecutive frames and the target displacements obtained by the DTT algorithm. This allows for recognition and tracking of the targets. To validate the effectiveness of the algorithm, experiments are conducted on two sets of moving-object image data, resulting in accuracies of 90.12% and 90.87%.

Large-scale multiobjective optimization problems (LMOPs) are particularly challenging for conventional evolutionary algorithms,as it is difficult to quickly approximate to the Pareto optimal front in a huge search *** prominent method to solve LMOPs is to simplify the target LMOPs via decision variable analysis (DVA) methods,where the decision variables are classified into several sub-components and then each sub-component is optimized ***, most existing DVA-based methods still have the problem of high evaluation consumption,which limits the performance of solving *** alleviate this issue,this paper proposes a new redefined DVA method with low-consumption for solving LMOPs,called ***,R-DVA detects the interrelationship among convergent decision variables by using a distance-based hierarchical clustering method,which does not need to generate a large number of solutions,thus saving a lot of evaluation ***, R-DVA divides the interrelated convergent decision variables into the same group,thus dividing the convergent decision variables into several *** addition,to improve the performance of population,an evolutionary-state-oriented evolutionary (EsoE) strategy with two search models is designed in ***,the intra-group optimization model is used to accelerate the convergence when the population is in the exploration ***,a novel quality-based segmentation competitive swarm optimizer (CSO) is designed in the inter-group optimization model,aiming to enhance the diversity of the population when the population is in the exploitation *** this way,a good trade-off between the convergence and diversity can be achieved via the EsoE ***,extensive experiments demonstrate the efficiency of our proposed R-DVA in comparison to five state-of-the-art large-scale evolutionary algorithms in solving various benchmark LMOPs and a real-world large-scale application,i.e.,feature selection. © 2023

The advent of electric mobility has created new costs that are closely linked to and influenced by the actions and behaviors of electric vehicle (EV) drivers. These include time-, energy-, and risk-related costs that each driver seeks to reduce by adjusting his or her strategy. In this paper, an electric vehicle charging dilemma using a non-cooperative routing game with selfish players is formulated. We assume that an electric vehicle plans a trip from one place to another and, in the process, must choose a specific route, stop at a roadside station, decide on the charging station, and charge its battery by a certain amount. The strategy of EVs to drive or stop depends on factors related to battery level, waiting status at charging stations, availability of charging types, and traffic load both on roads and at stations. The research problem aims to solve the EV driver's dilemma and determine the route that the EV driver must take to optimize his travel cost.' To solve the dilemma, we propose to build a simulation model based on input data obtained from historical records of U.S. government sources, as described in the paper. © 2022 IEEE.

The capacitor is a common weak point in motor drive system design, necessitating targeted selection, design, and optimization of capacitor banks within these systems. Traditional capacitor design often relies on engineering experience, usually meeting specific capacitance and voltage requirements through simple parallel or series connections of capacitors. This approach often fails to fully optimize volume, cost, and reliability. This paper uses comprehensive theoretical modeling to optimize capacitor module design, effectively balancing capacitor lifespan, cost, and volume. For the design and selection of DC-link capacitors in a 1kW permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system, a multi-objective optimization design method for capacitor banks is proposed. The study treats the individual capacitance values of parallel capacitors as variables, significantly enhancing the overall performance of the capacitor module through precise optimization and the introduction of necessary constraints in the selection design. The proposed method is validated with a 1kW permanent magnet synchronous motor drive system. The optimization results show that under the guidance of a multi-objective optimization framework, the designed DC-link capacitor module meets physical size requirements while achieving overall optimization in terms of volume, cost, and lifespan, significantly improving system reliability. © 2024 IEEE.

The evolution of intelligent transport systems (ITS) has significantly enhanced driving experiences in vehicular ad-hoc networks (VANET), crucial for improving road safety and traffic efficiency. Despite these advancements, challenges persist. Trust management solutions often assume user legitimacy without verification. Moreover, the need for reauthentication as vehicles move between RSUs adds computational complexity. VANET is relatively vulnerable to security threats from multiple parties given its highly dynamic topology and its wireless and heterogeneous communication mode. We have expanded upon Maria et al.’s schema by specifically targeting and resolving significant shortcomings in their research. More precisely, we improve the features related to confirming the identity of users, preventing vehicles from being used without authorization, and continuously monitoring their current location in order to strengthen the security of vehicles and increase user involvement. We suggest implementing a schema that utilizes QR code verification to authenticate vehicle users, specifically targeting these difficulties. In VANETs, blockchain has been adopted with the authentication process for fog computing. The result is that there is no need for trusted authority (TA) while achieving privacy within the blockchain network and ensuring of the vehicle user authentication and the integrity of messages. Several key benefits have been achieved, such as blocking malicious entities and the potential damage they cause, enabling the revocation of malicious vehicles by conditional anonymization, as well as simplifying conflict resolution. Likewise, the proposed work was characterized by achieving an effective balance between effectiveness and complexity, protecting privacy, conditional tracking, ensuring integrity, and anonymous authentication.

Arithmetical operations are fundamental in computing models. But arithmetic operations in membrane computing are restricted in integer field. In this paper, we present fraction arithmetic $\mathbf{P}$ systems for performing addition, subtraction, multiplication, division on fractions through designing the rules with priority. Some examples are given to illustrate how to compute the arithmetical fractions in these systems and show that the designed rules can carry out correct arithmetic computations of fractions.

Underwater acoustic sensor networks(UWASNs)aim to find varied offshore ocean monitoring and exploration *** most of these applications,the network is composed of several sensor nodes deployed at different depths in the *** nodes located at depth on the seafloor cannot invariably communicate with nodes close to the surface level;these nodes need multihop communication facilitated by a suitable routing *** this research work,a Cluster-based Cooperative Energy Efficient Routing(CEER)mechanism for UWSNs is proposed to overcome the shortcomings of the Co-UWSN and LEACH *** optimal role of clustering and cooperation provides load balancing and improves the network *** simulation results using MATLAB show better performance of CEER routing protocol in terms of various parameters as compared to Co-UWSN routing protocol,i.e.,the average end-to-end delay of CEER was 17.39,Co-UWSN was 55.819 and LEACH was *** addition,the average total energy consumption of CEER was 9.273,Co-UWSN was 12.198,and LEACH was *** packet delivery ratio of CEER was 53.955,CO-UWSN was 42.047,and LEACH was *** stability period CEER was 130.9,CO-UWSN was 129.3,and LEACH was *** obtained results maximized the lifetime and improved the overall performance of the CEER routing protocol.

Generally, the procedure of blood flow velocity computation contains gathered data on the movement of red blood cells or other indicators of blood flow and utilizes that data to compute the velocity of blood flows with the blood vessels. The procedure of blood flows velocity computation contains evaluating the speed at which blood moves through a blood vessel. It is done utilizing several approaches like magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Doppler flowmetry, ultrasound, particle image velocimetry (PIV), or computed tomography (CT) scans. This manuscript involves the design of Intelligent Blood Flow Velocity Calculation using Deep Belief Network with Harmony Search Algorithm (BFV-DBNHSA) technique. The proposed BFV-DBNHSA technique computes the velocity of the blood flow accurately and timely. In the presented BFV-DBNHSA technique, the major aim is to determine the interior blood flow velocity. To accomplish this, the BFV-DBNHSA technique employs DBN model to produce the features of the blood flow velocity. Moreover, the BFV-DBNHSA technique uses HSA algorithm for optimal hyperparameter selection of the DBN model. The experimental outcome investigation of the BFV-DBNHSA system is well studied under different measures. The comprehensive comparison analysis revealed the improvement of the BFV-DBNHSA technique over recent algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

In implant prosthesis treatment, the surgical guide of implant is used to ensure accurate implantation. However, such design heavily relies on the manual location of the implant position. When deep neural network has been proposed to assist the dentist in locating the implant position, most of them take a single slice as input, which do not fully explore 3D contextual information and ignores the influence of implant slope. In this paper, we design a Text Guided 3D Context and Slope Aware Triple Network (TCSloT) to integrate the perception of contextual information from multiple adjacent slices and awareness of variation of implant slopes. A Texture Variation Perception (TVP) module is correspondingly design to process the multiple slices and capture the texture variation among slices and a Slope-Aware Loss (SAL) is proposed to dynamically assign adaptive weights for the regression head. Additionally, we design a conditional text guidance (CTG) module to integrate the text condition (i.e., left, middle and right) from the CLIP to assist the implant position prediction. Extensive experiments on a dental implant dataset through five-fold cross-validation, demonstrated that the proposed TCSloT achieves superior performance than existing methods. © 2023 IEEE.
