This paper presents a development of a novel path planning algorithm, called Generalized Laser simulator (GLS), for solving the mobilerobot path planning problem in a two-dimensional map with the presence ofconstraints. This approach gives the possibility to find the path for a wheelmobile robot considering some constraints during the robot movement inboth known and unknown environments. The feasible path is determinedbetween the start and goal positions by generating wave of points in alldirection towards the goal point with adhering to constraints. In simulation,the proposed method has been tested in several working environments withdifferent degrees of complexity. The results demonstrated that the proposedmethod is able to generate efficiently an optimal collision-free path. Moreover,the performance of the proposed method was compared with the A-star andlaser simulator (LS) algorithms in terms of path length, computational timeand path smoothness. The results revealed that the proposed method hasshortest path length, less computational time and the best smooth path. Asan average, GLS is faster than A∗ and LS by 7.8 and 5.5 times, respectivelyand presents a path shorter than A∗ and LS by 1.2 and 1.5 times. In orderto verify the performance of the developed method in dealing with constraints, an experimental study was carried out using a Wheeled Mobile Robot(WMR) platform in labs and roads. The experimental work investigates acomplete autonomous WMR path planning in the lab and road environmentsusing a live video streaming. Local maps were built using data from a live video streaming with real-time image processing to detect segments of theanalogous-road in lab or real-road environments. The study shows that theproposed method is able to generate shortest path and best smooth trajectoryfrom start to goal points in comparison with laser simulator.

In this study, an efficient system to improve the oxygen supply in hospitals and other healthcare institutions is proposed. It uses Internet of things (IoT) devices and cloud based data transmission and processing system. The controller unit collects the oxygen sensor data for the analysis and uses HTTP protocols to send and receive data with cloud computing in HTTP website server. The cloud is data storage, processes and real-time monitoring, analysis and control system. It has a user interface with viewed administrators and medical professionals. The interface provides real-time data regarding oxygen supply, consumption patterns, and possible concerns. Authorized workers can access and manage the system via the display, allowing for timely adjustments to oxygen supply settings, optimizations to refill schedules, and responses to emergency circumstances. It's adaptable, flexible, and resilient, which are benefits. There will be less need to worry about oxygen shortages and interruptions, and healthcare institutions of all sizes can benefit from this. The cloud's remote access and control capabilities provide continuous functioning and rapid reaction times. It's an effective solution for hospitals and other healthcare facilities that need to control their oxygen supplies. With its cloud-based design, the solution increases productivity, improves patient safety, and simplifies oxygen management. © 2024 IEEE.

In today's digital age, network security is paramount. This paper introduces a robust web application designed to swiftly identify network attacks and real-time anomalies, enabling users to protect their networks effectively. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and machine learning, our system provides insights into network accuracy, F1-score, and precision, allowing users to gauge their network's safety. Our intrusion detection system classifies attacks into four categories: Denial of Service (DoS), Probe, Remote-to-User (R2L), and User-to-Root (U2R). Positioned strategically within the network, it monitors data traffic from all connected devices and promptly responds to suspicious activity, ensuring network security. Users receive instant alerts to take immediate action. Key technologies include data preprocessing (LabelEncoder and MinMaxScaler), user-friendly web interface (MERN stack), and enhanced security with Google Earth 2.0 for authentication and MongoDB for secure data storage. The Python-based backend operates on the NSL-KDD dataset, facilitating effective intrusion detection evaluation. To enhance accuracy, our system employs four machine learning algorithms: K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Random Forest, and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), offering comprehensive protection against network threats. In summary, this paper presents a potent network intrusion detection system for real-time threat identification and security assessment. Early detection and proper treatment of epilepsy seizure is essential and meaningful to those who suffer from this disease. Symptoms of seizures are confusion, abnormal gazing, and obsessive hand movements. Neurological exams, blood testing, cognitive tests, and neuroimaging modalities are some of the techniques used to detect epileptic seizure activity in patients. Among them, neuroimaging techniques have attracted a lot of interest from doctors in the field. The use of computer-aided diagnostic systems (CADS) based on deep learning (DL) and neuroimaging modalities can help quickly and accurately diagnose epileptic seizures. This research introduces a novel seizure detection approach based on a bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) network. As a result, Bi-LSTM preserves the nonstationary nature of electroencephalogram (EEG) data while decreasing processing costs by employing local mean decomposition (LMD) and statistical feature extraction algorithms. Two distinct LSTM networks with opposing propagation directions are combined in the deep architecture. So, the deep model can use information from both before and after the current time of analysis to decide the output state. On a long-term scalp EEG database, an average accuracy of 97%, sensitivity of 95.70%, specificity of 93.90%, and G-Mean of 94.80% were achieved, with an anticipation time of 10 min. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management.

It is of the utmost importance to be aware of safety measures when operating a motor vehicle in the contemporary world, characterized by a fast-paced and hazardous environment. It has become necessary to develop innovative technology in order to improve road safety as a result of the alarmingly high number of incidents that can be linked to drivers who are under the influence of alcohol. As a solution to this significant problem, this study uses the capabilities offered by the Internet of Things (IoT) to develop an integrated system for detecting and controlling alcohol in commercial vehicles. This study aims to reduce the dangers connected with driving under the influence of alcohol by allowing for the seamless integration of cutting-edge alcohol detection technologies with real-time vehicle control mechanisms. The system makes use of specific sensors for the detection of alcohol. It interacts with the control mechanisms of the vehicle in order to restrict its functioning when alcohol is present. To make this possible, the hardware component of the system mounted in the vehicle uses the MQ3 sensor, also known as the alcohol sensor. This sensor is responsible for monitoring the alcohol molecules in the air around the driver to determine whether or not the driver is intoxicated. A buzzer, a DC motor, an LCD, a GPS, and a GSM are all components utilized by the system for data transfer. Additionally, the gear is powered by a 12-volt battery. As soon as the system determines that there is alcohol present in the vehicle, it immediately locks the accelerator. Using the GPS, the driver can obtain their location coordinates. © 2024 IEEE.

Museum ecosystems need digital transformation to provide value added to museums. This study discusses the digital museum ecosystem conceptual model based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology and the Internet of Things (IoT). The new conceptual model integrates three elements of the museum ecosystem, people, collections & infrastructure, and museum services collaborating and communicating to achieve outputs in supporting the achievement of museum organizational goals through IoT and AI-based digital technology. The conceptual model describes various forms of implementing IoT and AI in the museum ecosystem for museum management along with the value added or results generated for museum management. The development of this ecosystem conceptual model into a physical museum has an impact on optimizing museum performance by providing value added in the form of convenience and prosperity for users and various museum stakeholders, especially in Society 5.0. © 2023 IEEE.

This research focuses on developing a simulation and assessment system for Internet Tactile AI, addressing the need for reliable evaluation methods in predictive models within this domain. The term 'Internet Tactile' refers to touch-sensitive devices and applications interconnected in our digital ecosystem. The system aims to simulate and assess AI models' performance in predicting and responding to tactile stimuli in Internet environments. Key components include realistic tactile simulations, diverse datasets, and advanced assessment metrics. Simulation involves creating lifelike scenarios of tactile interactions online, coupled with AI models trained on extensive datasets to predict and analyze user responses. For all parameters and axes, it appears that the MAE, RMSE, and ESS values are generally lower for PD compared to MPC. This suggests that, in this context, PD may be more accurate in predicting positions compared to MPC. © 2024 IEEE.

Stock market forecasting is important for financial decision-making and risk management. Among the various time series models, the Autoregressive (p) Integrated (d) Moving Average (q) (ARIMA) model has been widely adopted for its simplicity and effectiveness in capturing temporal patterns. However, selecting appropriate ARIMA orders remains a crucial and challenging task, impacting the accuracy of predictions. This paper presents a comprehensive statistical comparison of ARIMA order performance in the context of stock market forecasting. We examine the impact of different ARIMA model orders. Our study utilizes historic New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) stock price data. Our findings shed light on the complex interplay between ARIMA parameters and predictive accuracy, offering valuable insights for robust financial forecasting. © 2023 IEEE.

The dynamic nature of cyber threats necessitates the development of novel approaches to strengthen database system security. The novel method for fortifying defenses against SQL injection attacks - a pervasive and ongoing danger in the field of cybersecurity - is presented in this study. The suggested methodology creates a strong and adaptable defense mechanism by seamlessly integrating cutting-edge honeypot technology with current SQL injection mitigation techniques. Our approach, which we have named HoneySQLGuard, uses carefully con- structed honeypot tables inside the database system. These tables serve as sly bait, drawing potential attackers' attention away from genuine data and toward themselves. By utilizing the most recent developments in technology, Honey SQL Guard surpasses the limitations of conventional signature-based detection techniques and is able to adjust to changing attack strategies via anomaly and machine learning. The honeypot tables are cleverly incorporated within the database architecture, making them invisible to an outside observer when compared to real tables. The technology immediately recognizes and isolates unusual behavior suggestive of SQL injection attempts by closely monitoring and analyzing query patterns. Furthermore, HoneySQLGuard has real-time reporting and alerting functions that guarantee an early reaction to any possible intrusions. Extensive testing is conducted to validate the effectiveness of the proposed solution, which shows it can dramatically lower the success rate of SQL injection attacks while keeping false-positive rates low. This study advances the subject by providing a thorough and flexible method for fortifying databases against SQL injection attacks, in line with the industry's increasing demand for robust cybersecurity defenses. © 2024 IEEE.
