This work proposes a bit-adjacent Data Background (DB) management scheme to improve fault coverage of March algorithms while simultaneously maintaining the shortest test cycle. Both static and dynamic DB transitions are used in order to detect Deceptive Read Destructive Faults (DRDFs) and Write Disturb Faults (WDFs) that are not detected by previous algorithms. A conventional March Test Algorithm can be modified by using the DB management scheme to form a new March Test Algorithm (referred to as Mod March Test Algorithm), e.g., MATS++(6N) becoming Mod MATS++(6N). This paper shows that Mod March SR (14N) and Mod March CL (12N) can detect DRDFs and WDFs while the corresponding conventional algorithms cannot. It is also shown that Mod March CL(12N) and Mod March SR(14N) with DB management can detect all Static Single Cell Faults based on the Bit-Oriented-Memories (BOM) test method. Comparisons on test cycle time for Mod March SR, March SR, and March SS in the context of memory Built-In-Self-Test (BIST) are also presented. From the simulation result, it shows that by including Data Backgrounds (DBs) management in Bit-Oriented Memories (BOM), the cycle test time is the same after a given multiple of DBs in the test algorithm.

The TF21 group of eLPCO (Aoyama Gakuin University General Institute) researches the business process and the education method of the Product Life-cycle Management;PLM in the manufacturing business. In this project, We designed and developed "Production and Sales Service Management" education program to understand the demand forecasting, Supply Chain Management;SCM, and inventory management in the university education. In this paper, we discuss the class content design and development to understand the SCM and inventory management that is a part of this lesson program. This paper is shown below. First, the virtual manufacturing industry and the virtual business process are designed. Next, the lesson scenario is designed. Thirdly, the SCM experience simulator that used the spreadsheet software is developed. Finally, the developed lesson is executed, and the teaching evaluation is described.

Gamification is not a newly emerging concept. Perhaps, it is a new term to some people. Gamification is a powerful new strategy to influence and motivate groups of people. It applies game mechanics to non-game activities to change the user's behavior of an application. It improves the engagement of user by keeping score of points earned through various activities on the application. The recent gamified websites or a related service such as Foursquare is a location-based application that pinpoints where you are and your activities. Users of the Foursquare can “check in” to various locations on their mobile phones and gain incentives like badges or deals. Gamification is utilised as a mean to build up user loyalty, and not so much to gain their long-term engagement. This article discusses how the gamification can help to drive the sustainability after a mobile application has been delivered and is in use. It is important to make mobile application continuously visible and sustainable if the concept of gamification has been used correctly. The more users can gain from the virtual and tangible rewards of using our application, the more we can be rewarded from our users. It also discusses how adding a “game layer” has improved the basic functions in society like educating people to become more responsible and helpful and use badges as virtual reward to users who contribute photos. Interactive mobile application designed to change the way of people report road accident cases with applying a simplicity and convenience principles. For instance, user just needs to snap photo and touch on screen to report a road accident case.

Current pathway presentation method to the biologist is static graph. The analysis of differentially expressed genes using microarray gene expression data can help to find factors that affect diseases. However, the differentially expressed genes that are identified may be too large in number and it's difficult for biologist to pinpoint the correlations between genes and crucial points on pathway interactively. In this study, we propose a method that attempts to avoid this problem and allows the discovery of greater biological meaning than the traditional method. We select a gene pair set of interacting genes in a biological pathway and investigate the correlation in expression between the gene pairs under different condition (such as relapsed and non-relapsed breast cancer) using microarray gene expression data. We tested the approach using breast cancer relapsed and non-relapsed datasets in order to demonstrate that our method is both useful and reliable; very stable results were obtained when the same microarray platform was used. We finally use an interface to display correlations within a biological pathway.

This contribution shows the sensor application of a resonance-induced extraordinary transmission through a regular phononic crystal consisting of a metal plate with a periodic arrangement of holes in a square lattice at normal incidence of sound. The characteristic transmission peak has been found to strongly depend on liquid sound velocity. The respective peak maximum frequency can therefore serve as measure for liquid analysis. Experimental verification has been performed with mixtures of water and propanol as model system. Numerical calculations based on COMSOL and EFIT reveal more insides to the wave propagation characteristics. Experimental investigations with Schlieren method and laser interferometry support the theoretical findings.

A novel element is developed in this research namely single square element for a reflectarray antenna. This element is modified by using a square hole instead of circle hole for a conventional ring element shape. A series of physical size element is investigated and presented in this paper. CST Microstripes is used as the analyzing tool by plotting the graph performance using the phase responses to the size changing. The design procedure and critical parameters consist of phase range and phase slope are discussed. While, waveguide simulator techniques is used as the tool of measurement with the using of RF35 as the substrate material. This substrate is characterized with the dielectric constant of 3.54 and the thickness of 1.524 mm. As the results, the practical phase range achieved is 403° and phase slope is 0.34°/μm at the frequency of 23.7 GHz for a unit cell element.

This paper presents an investigation of bandwidth enhancement of a concentric split ring square reflectarray element in terms of phase and return loss versus frequency graph performance. The performance of element's phase response is then to be compared to the concentric solid ring square element whereby studies on the phase range and slope are carried out to the variation size of elements within the range 2.63 mm to 4.49 mm. The bandwidth of unit cell element is observed and it has been shown the enhancement of up to 40.7% and 0.5% at dual frequency operation. It can be concluded from this studies that the bandwidth can be pronounced improved by using the split concept into the element for giving significant improvement to the performance of linear phase range, phase slope and inevitable bandwidth. The analysis is executed using the CST Microwave Studio software.

Scheduling in traditional distributed systems has been mainly studied for system performance parameters without data transmission requirements. With the emergence of Data Grids (DGs) and Data Centers, data-aware scheduling has become a major research issue. DGs arise quite naturally to support needs of scientific communities to share, access, process, and manage large data collections geographically distributed. In fact, DGs can be seen as precursors of Data Centers of Cloud Computing platforms, which serve as basis for collaboration at large scale. In such computational infrastructures, the large amount of data to be efficiently processed is a real challenge. One of the key issues contributing to the efficiency of massive processing is the scheduling with data transmission requirements. Data-aware scheduling, although similar in nature with Grid scheduling, is giving rise to the definition of a new family of optimization problems. New requirements such as data transmission, decoupling of data from processing, data replication, data access and security are the basis for the definition of a whole taxonomy of data scheduling problems from an optimization perspective. In this work we present the modelling of such requirements and define data scheduling problems. We exemplify the methodology for the case of data-ware independent batch task scheduling and present several heuristic resolution methods for the problem.

The reflections of satellite signals in the environment of Global Positioning systems (GPS) receivers cause significant errors in their position estimates. Particularly critical are the errors due to the so called non-line-of-sight (NLOS) satellites. In a NLOS situation, the only way the satellite signal reaches the receiver is by means of reflections on plane surfaces, typically buildings, causing overestimates of the pseudoranges between the satellites and the antenna. Receivers not always distinguish between the direct signals and the multipath effects, leading to un-modelled GPS errors. This paper presents a solution to the problem of multipath effects in urban areas, by means of simple elevation models of the environment. The description of the buildings is stored in a elevation-enhanced digital map (EEMap) that can be consulted to decide whether a certain satellite may be in direct view or not. The validity of the concept is proven by means of real experiments in built-up areas of Spain.

A practical method for evaluating the three-dimensional（3D） position and velocity of a moving object used in the parabolic flight experiment is developed by using the binocular stereo vision measurement theory. The camera calibration mathematic model without considering the lens distortion is *** direct linear transformation（DLT） algorithm is improved to accomplish the camera *** camera calibration result and optimization algorithm are used to calculate the object＇s world coordinate from image *** 3D position and the velocity of the moving object are *** standard uncertainty in estimating the velocity is 0.0024 m/s,which corresponds to 1%level of the velocity of the object in the *** results show that this method is very useful for the parabolic flight experiments.
