Rising urban air pollution poses serious health dangers. Through robots, cloud computing, and deep reinforcement learning, this research proposes a new air purification method. The suggested autonomous system analyzes real-time air quality parameters and optimizes air purification tactics using cloud-based data processing. Advanced sensors and purification processes allow robotic agents to intelligently adapt to shifting pollution patterns in dynamic settings. Robots use Deep Q Networks (DQN) to learn and change their purifying tactics based on past data and environmental input. Cloud computing and deep learning improve air purification efficiency and enable real-time pollution response decision-making. The autonomous system is scalable and adaptable to varied urban environments since it requires little human involvement. The cloud-based design lets autonomous agents communicate and coordinate to improve air quality. Experimental findings show that the suggested strategy improves air purification over previous approaches. This system advances environmental robotics and lays the groundwork for intelligent, autonomous systems that handle urban air quality and pollution issues. © 2024 IEEE.

This study simulates a n-i-p planar heterojunction for Na2SnBr6-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs), with Na2SnBr6 as the absorber layer, fluorine-doped tin oxide (FTO) as the substrate, and In2S3, IGZO, and SnS2 as electron transport layers (ETLs). Gold (Au) is used as the back contact. Na2SnBr6 was chosen for its low cost, non-toxicity, tunable band gap, excellent electrical properties, and stability. The SCAPS-1D simulator was employed to model the solar cell performance under AM 1.5 G light irradiation, focusing on factors like doping concentration, layer thickness, defect density, and interface defects across three device configurations: Device I (Au/Na2SnBr6/ In2S3/FTO/Al), Device II (Au/ Na2SnBr6/IGZO/FTO/Al), and Device III (Au/ Na2SnBr6/SnS2/FTO/Al). Device III achieved the highest PCE of 31.35%, FF of 85.95%, VOC of 0.7926 V, and JSC of 46.01 mA/cm22, making it a promising candidate for high-efficiency, lead-free perovskite solar cells. Devices I and II showed lower efficiencies of 27.47% and 30.98%, respectively. The study also analyzed quantum efficiency (QE), carrier dynamics, and recombination rates, highlighting the potential of Device III in advancing Na2SnBr6-based hybrid perovskite solar technologies for future solar energy applications. © 2025 Optica Publishing Group under the terms of the Optica Open Access Publishing Agreement.

In order to improve the visual quality of low-resolution video frames, this study introduces a new superresolution method for real-time video processing that is powered by artificial intelligence. With little computational overhead, the suggested approach uses a hybrid deep learning model to reconstruct high-resolution frames. This model mixes Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) with Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs). The suggested method outperforms state-of-the-art methods by 12.3% in PSNR and 8.7% in SSIM, according to experimental results on benchmark video datasets. The PSNR is 34.56 dB and the SSIM is 0.94. Also, running on a GTX 1080Ti GPU, the system shows an average processing speed of 30 fps, which is great for real-time apps. The suggested strategy is effective in eliminating artifacts, improving visual clarity, and retaining fine details in various real-time video processing contexts, according to both quantitative and qualitative results. © 2024 IEEE.

Securing the uninterrupted data flow is crucial in the fast-advancing Internet of Things (IoT) market. This work investigates the incorporation of elliptic Galois cryptography and matrix XOR coding steganography to improve data security. The suggested solution employs the elliptic Galois cryptography protocol to encrypt sensitive data from diverse medical records. The private information is embedded within images through the matrix XOR encoding steganography algorithm. The Adaptive Firefly optimization approach is used to improve the efficiency of utilizing cover blocks for steganography. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is evaluated using various modern approaches. We analyze the efficiency and security of the proposed approach by comparing it with a previous hybrid method employing the New York State department of Health dataset. The results unequivocally validate that our approach offers enhanced safety in Internet of Things (IoT) applications. © 2024 IEEE.

To improve the efficacy of semiconductor device characteristics prediction, this work proposes a machine learning (ML) model that can predict drain current, gate-source capacitance, and drain-gate capacitance. The model displays outstanding accuracy, thus, allowing for the prognosis of device characteristics with reliability. Compared to the simulations in Technology computer-Aided Design (TCAD), this ML approach can be considered a speedy alternative. To the best of the authors' knowledge, this manuscript specifically proposes a novel approach to utilize the MLP-RF (ensemble of multilayer perceptron (MLP) regressor and random forest (RF) regressor) model for Double-Gate MOSFET. The accuracy of the ensemble model is verified by calculating the mean squared error, root mean squared error, and mean coefficients of determination values. In addition, an MLP-RF classification model was implemented that would take, as input, characteristics of devices whose channel lengths are unknown and classify them into the most probable devices from a set of devices whose channel lengths are known thereby modeling the process variations during the fabrication process. The results thus encourage further interdisciplinary endeavors to benefit the semiconductor industry. © 2025 IEEE.

Many applications, from logistics to social networks, rely on quickly navigating the shortest pathways inside large-scale graphs. For shortest route finding in huge data settings, this study aims to compare Dijkstra's method with the Bellman-Ford algorithm. Applying these methods to large datasets will allow us to compare their speed, accuracy, and scalability. Graph density and negative weight cycles are two of the intrinsic properties of big data settings that will be used to determine which method is most suited to each. Optimal algorithm selection for given data situations is guided by insights into each algorithm's operational strengths and shortcomings, which are revealed via rigorous testing and performance metrics analysis. This comparison helps real-world applications of each method and provides valuable information for future advancements in large data processing shortest route calculation algorithms. In a study comparing Dijkstra's Algorithm and Bellman-Ford using the RandomGraph1 dataset, the results showed that for nodes 100-500, the former's ms value ranged from 5.2 to 52.3 and the latter's ms value ranged from 6.8 to 68.9. Similarly, for nodes 100-500, the MB value range for Dijkstra's Algorithm was 10.2-46.7 and for Bellman-Ford, it was 14.8-71.9. Data from a different SparseGraph1 dataset reveals that, for values between 100 and 500, Dijkstra's Algorithm has a percentage range of 98.5 to 99.8, while for Bellman-Ford, it varies from 97.2 to 99.3. © 2024 IEEE.

With the advancement of deep learning techniques, learned image compression (LIC) has surpassed traditional compression methods. However, these methods typically require training separate models to achieve optimal rate-distortion performance, leading to increased time and resource consumption. To tackle this challenge, we propose leveraging multi-gain and inverse multi-gain unit pairs to enable variable rate adaptation within a single model. Nevertheless, experiments have shown that rate-distortion performance may degrade at certain bitrates. Therefore, we introduce weighted probability assignment, where different selection probabilities are assigned during training based on lambda values, to increase the model’s training frequency under specific bitrate conditions. To validate our approach, extensive experiments were conducted on Transformer-based and CNN-based models. The experimental results validate the efficiency of our proposed method.

As the world and its technologies continue to develop, complicating processes of connecting multiple networks, network management and engineering professionals need to have the skills to diagnose network connectivity problems. One such network analytical tool goes by the name of traceroute and its primary use is to trace the path that the packets take from the source host to the destination host in the given IP network. However, understanding of Traceroute results that are usually printed in the form of a text table would be hardly possible for a common user and in any case could not give a sufficient idea of the network structure. This challenge is lack of visual tool to analyze the traceroute result in a graphical manner, The Traceroute Visualization Tool is the solution for this challenge because it offers the means for visualizing the traceroute results with an interface that is graphically friendly and allows for an interactive map on which to display such results. As previously explained, the packet route can be visualized simplistically using geocoding techniques which allow the conversion of IP addresses to geographical coordinates. Through the use of network hops, latency and many other features, it becomes easier for users to recognize various problems that may be associated with networks and badly connection points hence making it easier for users to diagnose problematic points in their networks.
