This study presents the development of an Internet of Things (IoT) system for a water heater model, focusing on enhancing reliability during sensor malfunctions that could disrupt operations. Using the SEMAR IoT platform, the system efficiently collects and analyzes data, while the integration of the Holt-Winter algorithm ensures accurate temperature estimates, even with unreliable or missing sensor data. The algorithm successfully auto-calibrates sensors, predicts temperature at specific time intervals based on real sensor behavior, and fills in missing data during sensor failures. Tests show strong correlations between estimated and actual temperatures, allowing uninterrupted operation. This solution offers a flexible, cost-effective alternative to traditional redundancy, ensuring system reliability during sensor failures. Future research will explore alternative predictive models and conduct real-world testing to validate the system's resilience under complex conditions. © 2024 IEEE.

Information the overall performance of underwater fiber optic (UWFO) communique networks is vital for a hit deployment of this technology in an expansion of applications. That allows you to achieve most efficient community overall performance, bandwidth optimization must be hired. This paper examines distinctive bandwidth optimization techniques and how they're used to improve conversation among UWFO elements. The proposed approach utilizes adaptive modulation and coding techniques, as well as advanced error correction coding schemes, to efficiently utilize the available bandwidth and minimize signal degradation. Through extensive simulations and experiments, we demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in improving network performance, including increased data transfer rates and reduced error rates, compared to traditional methods. Our findings have significant implications for the design and operation of underwater fiber optic communication systems, potentially enhancing their potential for a wide range of applications in marine environments. In the end, several destiny studies guidelines are diagnosed to in addition enhance the overall performance and reliability of UWFO conversation networks. © 2023 IEEE.

Network programming is the act of writing computer codes for communications between programs or processes in different computers across networks. It is crucial for applications and services using networks, including e-commerce, gaming, and social media. However, university courses of educating it are very limited. As a result, it has become important to develop and offer IT tools to support self-studies of network programming by novices. In this paper, we present a study of two types of introductory exercise problems, namely, Grammar-concept Understanding Problem (GUP) and Comment Insertion Problem (CIP), for self-studies of five basic network protocols of TCP/IP, ARP, SMTP, POP3, and SSH with Python. A GUP instance requests to answer the keyword such as a library function in the given source code that corresponds to the grammar concept described in the question. A CIP instance requests to insert the comment at each blank of the code. String matching is adopted to mark any answer at the browser-based answer interface. Through solving them, it is expected to understand the meaning of important words and the code structure for network programming. As preliminary evaluations, we generated six GUP and CIP instances respectively, and assigned them to 10 students in Okayama University, Japan. The results confirmed that the proposal is proper for novices to learn network programming with Python. © 2023 ACM.

Skin cancer's increasing incidence rates necessitate advanced diagnostic tools. This research uses MobileNet architecture to develop an enhanced system for skin cancer detection. MobileNet's efficient CNN architecture, combined with Keras for model lifecycle management and TensorFlow for real-time inference, forms the foundation of this study. Using 10,015 dermatoscopic pictures from seven different classifications of skin cancer in the HAM10000 dataset, the methodology includes several key stages: image preprocessing to correct illumination and adjust resolution, data augmentation to balance the dataset, and model training using Transfer Learning. The MobileNet model was trained over 50 epochs with a comprehensive architecture incorporating multiple specialized layers. By combining large-scale data analysis and adaptive learning, this methodology demonstrates The revolutionary possibilities of AI and ML in improving skin cancer diagnostics and public health outcomes. This study explores Blockchain technology in the global financial industry using trends analysis, bibliometric analysis, and a literature appraisal using Elsevier Scopus data from 2016 to 2023. The Blockchain in Finance (BCF) study produced 185 publications: 53.5% papers, 45.4% conference proceedings, and 1.1% reviews. Analysis of the subject area revealed three important computer science, engineering, and Decision sciences articles. However, source title analysis showed that ACM International Conference Proceeding Series, Sustainability Switzerland, and E3S Web of Conferences publish BCF research most often. According to the stakeholders study, Jon M. Truby and Qatar University (Qatar) are the top BCFin researchers and affiliations with 4% and % publications, respectively. China produces the most research on the topic. Due to active support from funding sources like the Chinese National Natural science Foundation (NNSF), 18 publications have been funded. Co-occurrence of keywords The investigation indicated that BCFin’s top keywords include Blockchain, Finance, and Supply Chain Finance. Three clusters with 4–8 keywords, 132 linkages, and 866 TLS were found via cluster analysis. Keywords classify the clusters as Integrated Business Solutions (Cluster 1), Digital Commerce Infrastructure (Cluster 2), and Decentralized Financial Network (Cluster 3). The findings indicate that BCFin is a dynamic and influential multidisciplinary study field. BCFin has transformed the global financial sector by improving trust, transaction security, and communication. Cyber-Physical Power system (CPPS) is one of the most critical infrastructure systems due to deep integration between power grids and communication networks. In the power system, cascading failure is spreading more readily in CPPS, even leading to blackouts as well as there are new difficulties with the power system security simulation and faults brought by physical harm or network intrusions. The current study summarized the cross- integration of several fields such as computer and cyberspace security in terms of the robustness of Cyber-Physical systems, viewed as Interconnected and secure network systems. Therefore, the security events that significantly influenced the power system were evaluated in this study, besides the challenges and future directions of power system security simulation technologies were investigated for posing both challenges and opportunities for simulation techniques of power system security like building a new power system to accelerate the transformation of the existing energy system to a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient energy system which is used to assure power system stability through fusion systems that combine the cyber-physical to integrate the battery power station, power generation and renewable energy resources through the internet with the cyber system that contains Smart energy system control and attacks. © 2022 IEEE.

Food recognition has captivated much significance for health-related appliances. The traditional schemes mainly concern on the classification of food depending on its names and disregards the basic ingredient compositions. However, owing to shortage of datasets with labels of ingredient, the issues on food ingredient recognition (FIR) is often unnoticed. This work develops a new FIR approach, where, textual features, SIFT and deep features are derived. Then, the DBN classifier is deployed for the recognition of food ingredients. To get a precise recognition, tuning the weights of DBN is done via Improved TDO (ITDO) model.

Swallowing is a pivotal physiological function for human sustenance and hydration. Dysfunctions, termed dysphagia, necessitate prompt and precise diagnosis. Videofluoroscopic swallowing studies (VFSS) remain the gold standard for swallowing assessment but pose accessibility and radiation exposure concerns. High-resolution cervical auscultation (HRCA) presents a non-invasive alternative with comparable accuracy. Yet, existing studies have only assessed HRCA in tandem with VFSS, without applying it to clinical settings. We propose an AI-enhanced PC software deploying HRCA for real-time bedside swallowing screening. This software proficiently detects abnormalities and precisely measures key kinematic events, including upper esophageal sphincter opening and laryngeal vestibule closure duration. The system was evaluated through two studies, encompassing a VFSS comparative analysis and a usability study. Our findings underscored the software’s superior operational efficiency and diagnostic accuracy, positioning our HRCA-based system as a refined and pragmatic alternative for dysphagia assessment.
