We study a novel charged hadronic string model within the least action principle and the vacuum field theory approach based on the classical R.P. Feynman’s proper time paradigm. It is stated that the hadronic string model allows the conformal local coordinates, with respect to which the resulting string dynamics is described by means of the linear second order elliptic equation under the Dirac type constraint, suitable for the canonical quantization and demonstrating a related gauge type invariance of the model. The related Lagrangian and Hamiltonian aspects of the string model, interacting with ambient both electrical and electromagnetic potential fields, are analyzed in detail. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. The problem of automatic control of elastic computing granularity can be solved based on self-similar (fractal) network patterns. These patterns can control the level of granularity and ensure quick and efficient response to user demand, leading to optimal performance and minimized resource usage. For controlling and programming elastic computing granularity, the Fractal Abstract Machine (FAM) is proposed. It is also a theoretical framework for designing and modeling elastic computer systems, as well as for simulated elastic granularity, in order to solve optimization problems. Currently, FAM is investigating how to regulate an elastic network model while allocating containers and scheduling tasks in distribution networks. The correspondent example is considered. The idea of fractal computing, which controls elastic computing granularity, is explored. © 2023 IEEE.

The mathematical models of oscillatory systems for describing nonlinear oscillation of the free elastic one-dimensional bodies have been formulated and investigated using asymptotic approaches. The models consider the non-linearity of elastic properties of the body approximated by polynomial functions. Furthermore, the influence of a number of physical, mechanical and kinematical factors on the wave process are considered. The oscillation amplitude and frequency in non-resonant case were obtained as a time-dependent functions. The analytical presentations of system key parameters were obtained for the body's low speed of movement and homogeneous boundary conditions. The practical use of developed asymptotic approaches to the analysis of technical systems and in engineering practice was pointed out. © 2020 IEEE.

Online video courses using the LMS Moodle tools to teach students of economics specialties who are studying informatics as a basic discipline in their first year have been created in the university's virtual learning environment. A feature of such video courses is the presence of a significant number of author's video resources for all topics of the academic discipline and some elements of educational expert system. Video resources are available on the YouTube video hosting channel. They include video lectures, where the theoretical information of the course is presented, and video materials with examples of solving laboratory practice problems. According to the results of the approbation of the video course, it is claimed that it creates an effective basis for students to study the discipline independently, as it provides both online delivery of educational text and video materials and methodical support both to the lecture hall, to the computer laboratory, and to the student's home workplace. The technical and methodical aspects of the implementation of face-to-face, blended and distance learning using the developed video courses were investigated. Some elements of the educational expert system that automate the learning process have been implemented. Systems of automated control and self-control of knowledge, initial and final control, and programmed electronic journal with teachers' evaluations and feedback have been developed. Taking into account the force majeure circumstances caused by the state of war, which disrupt the continuity of the educational process, the described experience of blended and distance learning can be useful not only for teaching informatics, but also for organizing the education of other disciplines. © 2023 IEEE.

Investigated the voltage of the magnetic and electric fields during induction heating of the electrically conductive ferromagnetic layer in a steady-state, time-periodic electromagnetic field. Embedded two-sided methods of the Runge-Kutta type are derived, with the help of which the problem is solved. Numerical calculations showed that the nonlinear relationship between induction and magnetic field strength significantly affects the distribution of the amplitudes of the harmonics of the field strengths. © 2020 IEEE.

This work is devoted to the determination of the periodic component of the magnetic field strength in a layer of electrical steel. When constructing a mathematical model, the magnetic permeability is approximated by a fractional rational function. For calculation of properties of magnetic fied we propose to use two different methods - fourth order of accuracy and third order of accuracy two-sided method. The advantages is that without additional references to right part of the differential equation, we can receive an explicit estimate of the leading term of the local error. © 2021 IEEE.

Generalized Griffith’s criterion and models with pre-destruction zones are considered in this paper. Unlike those models that used linear dependences, the authors proposed the destruction process to be represented by differential equations. The positive effect of such representation is the possibility to formulate boundary conditions using the corresponding constant in the differential equation solution. The result is that the critical load values responsible for the occurrence and propagation of quasi-brittle cracks in materials are obtained. It is stated that the maximum load of crack propagation completely or essentially depends on its initial length. These generalizations estimate the influence of stress caused by hydrogen close to crack-like defects. In the case of defect-free material, the established formula is used to determine the critical forces necessary for the occurrence of cracks with a definite length. Numerical examples for some types of materials are given to illustrate the theoretical estimates. © 2023, University of Split. All rights reserved.

We consider the feasibility problem in a multi-agent decentralized form, where each agent has the personal information of the feasible subset, which is unknown to other agents. The common feasible set is composed of the agents’ feasible subsets. For solving this problem, we reformulate it in the form of a variational inequality and propose an algorithm based on the projection method. The aim of this article is to provide a methodology useful for designing and controlling elastic computing self-organizing for artificial intelligence space exploration. The artificial intelligence application itself should be elastic and distributed in the context of limited information technologies resources in space. The most important use of elastic computing is artificial intelligence's ability to continually learn and adapt to evolving environments and goals. The conceptual framework uses elastic infrastructure model and the terminology of graph dynamical systems to be able to capture a broad variety of processes taking place on self-organizing networks. The methodology's uniqueness lies in the theory of graph dynamical systems used to explain the self-organizing processes life cycle. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Wave theory of movement is used to study the mathematical model of a physical system which describes oscillations of a one-dimensional elastic body under the impact of a moving continuous flow of a homogeneous environment. This model accounts for nonlinear elastic properties of the body at transverse oscillations, as well as environment density and movement velocity. Oscillation amplitude and frequency variation laws in nonresonant modes and under the impact of harmonic perturbation are obtained. Variation laws of the aforementioned parameters are defined by geometrical characteristics of the elastic body, physical and mechanical properties of the material, the velocity of the moving environment, the angular velocity of elastic body rotation, and external factors. © 2019 IEEE.
