Electronic access control systems are one of the main security elements of controlled areas in a building. Reliable functioning of the electronic access control system in the conditions of electromagnetic interference is the basis for their effective use. Sources of impulse interference are electrostatic discharge from people passing through the turnstile, electromagnetic fields or conducted interference in the power supply network from a lightning discharge, industrial facilities, etc. These sources create impulse interference in the nanosecond or microsecond range. Interference can lead to a violation of the quality criterion of the system. The paper considers new constructive ways to reduce impulse interferences in communication lines or secondary power supply circuits of an electronic access control system. An analysis of the effectiveness of these methods is given. © 2023 IEEE.

The paper presents methods and technologies for the use of fuzzy models for the analysis and quality control of polymer materials. In accordance with the approaches under consideration, a single reconfigurable computer system was developed that allows for a comprehensive analysis of the quality of products of multi-Assortment polymer industries. The methods and technologies that allow using fuzzy models to evaluate the color characteristics of polymer materials are described, which makes it possible to eliminate the incompleteness of the input data about the object of study and improve the quality of the results of the system as a whole © 2022 IEEE.

The using of coreless micromotor in various fields of technology, in particular in unmanned RC drones and the expansion of their scope of application, are considered. The requirements for RC drones during the design process which determines the using of coreless micromotor were considered. On the basis of the algorithm developed by the authors, experimental studies of the 816 series coreless micromotor, which is most widely used in unmanned RC drones are carried out. These studies made it possible to obtain all the parameters for the development of a high-precision model of the coreless micromotor and the micro-drive of an unmanned RC drone in MATLAB Simulink. On the basis of the obtained experimental results, a high-precision model of the coreless micromotor was created in MATLAB Simulink, and transition processes of speed and current on the model were obtained. The error of the determined current on the model is 4.3 % compared to the experiment. The error of the specified speed on the model is 16% compared to the technical characteristics given in the micromotor datasheet. Experimental studies of the coreless micromotor with an 65 mm RC drone propeller were carried out. Its high-precision model was developed in MATLAB Simulink. The error of the determined current on the developed model is 12.8%, and the speed is 12.2% compared to the experiment. © 2024 IEEE.

Often, the description of the physical effect in the “primary” sources of information (patent documents, journal articles of a physical profile, dissertations in physics) contains graphs of dependencies linking the physical quantities of the input and output impacts of the physical effect (PhE). The analysis of this information and its use to expand the description of the physical effect is an urgent task. A modification of the model for describing the physical effect was carried out, taking into account the graphical representation of the functional dependence of the physical quantities of the PhE. CNN, LSTM, Visual Transformer (ViT) neural networks and machine learning methods of Naive Bayes, SVM have been tested in relation to classification and recognition tasks on images of dependency graphs. A comparative analysis of the approaches (accuracy of definition, complexity of data preparation, fault tolerance, equipment requirements) was carried out using criteria of precision, recall, F-measure, AUC-ROC.

Currently, patent documents contain graphic images of device drawings, graphs, chemical and mathematical formulas, and the formulas often need to be recognized and brought to a unified standard. This work analyzes graphic images extracted from the descriptions of FIPS Rospatent patents. Thematic filtering of mathematical and chemical formulas contained in patent documents and their recognition is provided. The theoretical value lies in the developed patent parsing algorithms in the *** system; recognition of chemical and mathematical formulas among graphic patent images; converting graphic images of chemical formulas into SMILES format; converting graphic images of mathematical formulas into LaTeX format. The practical significance of the work lies in the developed software module for analyzing graphic images from patent documents. The scope of the developed module is the study of patents and the reduction of graphic images to a unified standard for solving patent examine problems.

The mathematical model of the stress-strain state for biomaterials with a fractal structure is considered. The dependences between the stresses, strains and displacements components in the biomaterial with taking into account the existing effects of self-organization, deterministic chaos and spatial nonlocality are obtained. The apparatus of integro-differentiation of the fractional order to take into account the above properties of the material during construction of mathematical models was used. A method for obtaining an approximate solution of the considered problem has been developed which uses a constructed variational formulation of the problem of the stress-strain state of biomaterials with taking into account their fractal structure. The distribution of stresses, strains and displacements components in the material for partial cases of the problem is analyzed. © 2022 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

The second level of protection of access to objects is provided by an access control systems with turnstiles located in the entrance group of the building. Direct electrostatic discharge to building access control systems turnstiles create induced interference in internal wired communication lines and lines of the secondary power supply network. The purpose of work is an experimental quantitative analysis of the induced interference and a qualitative analysis of the causes of malfunctioning of building access control systems under the Influence of electrostatic discharge. More dangerous for the functioning of building access control systems are impulse induced interferences acting through the power inputs of the controller module. These interferences can lead to a violation of the quality of building access control systems functioning according to the criteria 'B' and 'C'. © 2022 IEEE.

The key priority for the development of urban street and road network is the introduction of automated traffic control systems. One of the key elements of automated traffic control systems is the efficient management of traffic lights. Under conditions of maximum traffic load on the roadway, it is possible to implement such control by introducing an adaptive traffic control system. The authors analyzed the existing means of traffic flows simulation. Based on the possibilities of use of adaptive traffic control tools, it is suggested to use the Simulation of urban mobility (SUMO) software as a simulation tool. A feature of SUMO (Simulation of urban mobility) is the so-called 'open source' and the possibility of its improvement, taking into account the tasks set by the researcher. By means of use of this software product, the simulation of the influence of adaptive traffic lights on the capacity of the road network of various types was carried out. Based on the results of the experiments, the main diagrams of traffic flows were built. A script was written in Python to interpret the simulation results and visualize the main traffic flow diagrams. The results show that the use of adaptive traffic control even at individual intersections gives an increase in capacity across the entire road network by 20-30%. The suggested results can be used in road network simulation of various types of networks using adaptive traffic lights. © 2022 IEEE.

An intelligent system for monitoring the integrity of operating pipelines is presented. The software package is designed to assess the corrosion rate and calculate the residual life of pipelines, which takes into account the parameters of climatic and transported environments, the characteristics of pipelines and their insulating coatings. The complex allows us to consider different types of corrosion: atmospheric, electrochemical and mechanical. A functional structure is proposed that describes the operating principle of the software package, calculation results and examples of intelligent system interfaces are presented.
