The important engineering problem is monitoring the working state of complex systems such as electric machines. One of tasks is to detect the inductive motor bearing faults by tracking windings currents change. The aim of this study is to analyze the response of nonlinear systems to cyclostationary signals recorded from the three-phase motor. The Duffing oscillator system is studied. The numerical simulation of nonlinear systems with the recorded signals as input is performed. The technique for the analysis of the observed dynamics is proposed. We show that such an approach allows detecting the bearing faults with a high level of confidence. © 2022 IEEE.

The using of coreless micromotor in various fields of technology, in particular in unmanned RC drones and the expansion of their scope of application, are considered. The requirements for RC drones during the design process which determines the using of coreless micromotor were considered. On the basis of the algorithm developed by the authors, experimental studies of the 816 series coreless micromotor, which is most widely used in unmanned RC drones are carried out. These studies made it possible to obtain all the parameters for the development of a high-precision model of the coreless micromotor and the micro-drive of an unmanned RC drone in MATLAB Simulink. On the basis of the obtained experimental results, a high-precision model of the coreless micromotor was created in MATLAB Simulink, and transition processes of speed and current on the model were obtained. The error of the determined current on the model is 4.3 % compared to the experiment. The error of the specified speed on the model is 16% compared to the technical characteristics given in the micromotor datasheet. Experimental studies of the coreless micromotor with an 65 mm RC drone propeller were carried out. Its high-precision model was developed in MATLAB Simulink. The error of the determined current on the developed model is 12.8%, and the speed is 12.2% compared to the experiment.

Estimating the cycle time ranges of jobs is a critical task in a factory. this study proposes a fuzzy collaborative intelligence (FCI) approach to improve the precision of cycle time range estimation. In the proposed methodology, a DNN is first built to accurately predict the cycle time of a job. A random forest (RF) is then constructed to explain the DNN. Each decision tree of the RF is fuzzified to estimate the cycle time ranges of the jobs learned by the decision tree. A fuzzy collaboration mechanism is also established between decision trees to narrow the cycle time ranges. The proposed methodology is novel because the RF is not applied to predict job cycle times but used to explain and fuzzify the DNN without solving complex nonlinear programming problems. The proposed methodology has been applied to a real case. According to the experimental results, the FCI approach improved the estimation precision by 18%. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.

Studies have been conducted on anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) nanomatrices manufactured by SmartMembranes (SM) (Germany) and InRedox (USA). An X-ray fluorescence analyzer determined the quantitative and qualitative composition of AAO matrices. It is shown that the AAO matrices have a large transparency window (250 - 2750 nm) and the dependence of the second harmonic generation (SHG) signal on the pore size. The parameters of the porous structure of the samples were estimated by isothermal processes of nitrogen adsorption/desorption at its boiling point (T = 77 K). © 2024 IEEE.

In the paper, the model and prototype of the AC stabilizer have been developed based on the AVR ATmega328P microcontroller. The block diagram of the device, the electronic circuit and the algorithms of the system operation have been developed. In particular, the algorithm includes software in C in the Arduino IDE. The AC voltage stabilizer is designed using the modular principle, which makes it possible to quickly upgrade. The AC voltage stabilizer makes it possible to maintain the supply voltage on the load within acceptable limits with significant deviations, has the ability to adjust the voltage range of the network to operate the stabilizer, manual adjustment potentiometers.

The optimal geometries of vector phase matching are determined for the cases of second harmonic, sum and difference frequency generation in a number of orthorhombic nonlinear optical crystals – KTP, KTA, KB5, KNbO3, LBO, CBO, LRB4. Extreme surface method was used to define wave vectors directions of highest possible generation efficiency. As it is shown, in a significant number of cases vector phase matching ensures higher efficiencies than the scalar one. © 2024, CC0.

Problems of research of underground gas storage (UGS) wells are given. The analysis of the results of well research is carried out and the constant variability of filtration resistance coefficients of bottomhole zones of wells is substantiated. Studies of the influence of bottomhole pressures of wells on the calculated pressure at gas gathering stations (GGS) of underground storage facilities have been carried out. It was found that the calculated filtration resistance coefficients do not allow to calculate the pressures at the gas gathering stations of the underground storage plant with sufficient accuracy. The magnitude of the discrepancy between the measured and calculated pressures on the GGS varies depending on the flow rate and operating time of wells. It is established that the calculation of depression (repression) of pressure in the bottomhole zones of wells in non-stationary conditions of their operation gives underestimated results. © 2023 IEEE.
