Noise is an omnipresent phenomenon. It obscures the real behavior of dynamical system. Lots of methods are proposed to remove the noise contaminating time series. However, almost all the methods consider the noise reduction in the phase space and often sharp points are kept. Different with these methods, this paper proposes a method directly on the time series itself, considering the gauss noise feature and the smoothness of the real data, uses curve-fitting way to eliminate the sharp points. The numeral results verify the effectiveness of our method.

This paper focuses on boosting the performance of small cell networks(SCNs)by integrating multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)and nonorthogonal multiple access(NOMA)in consideration of imperfect channel-state information(CSI).The estimation error and the spatial randomness of base stations(BSs)are characterized by using Kronecker model and Poisson point process(PPP),*** outage probabilities of MIMO-NOMA enhanced SCNs are first derived in closed-form by taking into account two grouping policies,including random grouping and distance-based *** is revealed that the average outage probabilities are irrelevant to the intensity of BSs in the interference-limited regime,while the outage performance deteriorates if the intensity is sufficiently ***,as the channel uncertainty lessens,the asymptotic analyses manifest that the target rates must be restricted up to a bound to achieve an arbitrarily low outage probability in the absence of the inter-cell ***,highly correlated estimation error ameliorates the outage performance under a low quality of CSI,otherwise it behaves ***,the goodput is maximized by choosing appropriate precoding matrix,receiver filters and transmission *** the end,the numerical results verify our analysis and corroborate the superiority of our proposed algorithm.

The limitation of the existing methods of traffic data collection is that they rely on techniques that are strictly local in nature. The airborne system in unmanned aircrafts provides the advantages of wider view angle and higher mobility. However, detecting vehicles in airborne videos is a challenging task because of the scene complexity and platform movement. Most of the techniques used in stationary platforms cannot perform well in this situation. A new and efficient method based on Bayes model is proposed in this paper. This method can be divided into two stages, attention focus extraction and vehicle classification. Experimental results demonstrated that, compared with other representative algorithms, our method obtained better performance with higher detection rate, lower false positive rate and faster detection speed.

Airborne vehicle detection and tracking systems equipped on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are difficult to develop because of factors like UAV motion, scene complexity and so on. In this paper, we propose a new framework of multi-motion layer analysis to detect and track moving vehicles in airborne platform. Moving vehicles are firstly detected by registration and temporal differencing to establish motion layers. After motion layers are constructed, they are maintained over time for tracking vehicles. All vehicles are tracked by maintaining their corresponding motion layers. Our experimental results showed that compared with other previous algorithms, our method can achieve better results in terms of detection and tracking performance.

Many small businesses and public areas offer free Wi-Fi access, but may wish to restrict network access only to their customers or patrons inside the physical property. Unfortunately, due to the nature of wireless networks, this is difficult to accomplish. We develop and implement CLAC, a Crowdsourced Location aware Access Control scheme using physical layer information to address this challenge. It crowdsources both channel state information (CSI) and received signal strength (RSS) of already validated users to classify future users. We propose and use two CSI metrics in CLAC: CSI Cross-Antenna Stability Metric and CSI Cross-Frame Stability Metric, which summarize well the spatial and temporal CSI characteristics respectively. CLAC is evaluated in an office and a classroom. Evaluation results show that CLAC performs well in both environments, allowing most valid users inside the area to access the network, while the chance that invalid users outside the boundary may access the network is small.

With the development of LPWAN technology, LoRa, one of the typical representatives, is widely used in various communication scenarios. At the same time, it is also faced with problems such as difficulty in identifying the terminal equipment and the easy mistake and confusion. The industry has widely valued LoRa RF fingerprint recognition technology, which has become a security focus that cannot be ignored. Most recent research on terminal recognition has been carried out by multi-class feature fusion. Still, it needs help with high computational complexity, significant noise and other external interference factors, and harrowing feature extraction. We propose a time-frequency feature analysis method based on GAF and MTF. The time-domain features are transformed into two-dimensional images using the Gram Angle field and Markov transfer field. The spectral graph has both time-domain and frequency-domain characteristics, and the feature probability distribution in the images is intuitively analyzed. Finally, we design a deep neural network model based on CNN improvement. It can accurately extract and classify the features contained in multi-Time frequency. Our experiments show that a 97% recognition rate can be achieved in an indoor environment, and a 90% recognition accuracy can be achieved in an outdoor environment in time. © 2024 IEEE.

A novel self-adaption strategy for the parameter epsiv in epsiv-MOEA is proposed in this paper based on the analyses of the relationship between the value of epsiv and the maximum number of non-dominated solutions. Then this novel strategy is applied in epsiv-MOEA and tested on 10 common benchmark functions. The experimental results demonstrate that even if without the good initial value for the parameter s, epsiv-MOEA with this self-adaption strategy (named Algorithm 1) is able to approximately obtain the expected number of non-dominated solutions, which are very close to and uniformly distributed on the Pareto-optimal front. Furthermore, the genetic drift phenomenon in Algorithm 1 is discussed Two cases of genetic drift are pointed out, and one case can be fixed up by a simple approach proposed in this paper.

In this paper, we address the problem of automatic clothing parsing in surveillance images using the information from user-generated tags, such as "jeans" and "T-shirt." Although clothing parsing has achieved great success in the fashion domain, it is quite challenging to parse target under practical surveillance conditions due to the presence of complex environmental interference, such as that from low resolution, viewpoint variations and lighting changes. Our method is developed to capture target information from the fashion domain and apply this information to a surveillance domain by weakly supervised transfer learning. Most target tags convey strong location information (e.g., "T-shirt" is always shown in the upper region), which can be used as weak labels for our transfer method. Both quantitative and qualitative experiments conducted on practical surveillance datasets demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed surveillance data enhancing method. © 2020, Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature.

LVMapper: A large-variance clone detector using sequencing alignment approach

To detect large-variance code clones (i.e. clones with relatively more differences) in large-scale code repositories is difficult because most current tools can only detect almost identical or very similar clones. It will make promotion and changes to some software applications such as bug detection, code completion, software analysis, etc. Recently, CCAligner made an attempt to detect clones with relatively concentrated modifications called large-gap clones. Our contribution is to develop a novel and effective detection approach of large-variance clones to more general cases for not only the concentrated code modifications but also the scattered code modifications. A detector named LVMapper is proposed, borrowing and changing the approach of sequencing alignment in bioinformatics which can find two similar sequences with more differences. The ability of LVMapper was tested on both self-synthetic datasets and real cases, and the results show substantial improvement in detecting large-variance clones compared with other state-of-the-art tools including CCAligner. Furthermore, our new tool also presents good recall and precision for general Type-1, Type-2 and Type-3 clones on the widely used benchmarking dataset, BigCloneBench. Copyright © 2019, The Authors.
