The rapid expansion of Internet of Things(IoT)networks has introduced challenges in network management,primarily in maintaining energy efficiency and robust connectivity across an increasing array of *** paper introduces the Adaptive Blended Marine Predators Algorithm(AB-MPA),a novel optimization technique designed to enhance Quality of Service(QoS)in IoT systems by dynamically optimizing network configurations for improved energy efficiency and *** results represent significant improvements in network performance metrics such as energy consumption,throughput,and operational stability,indicating that AB-MPA effectively addresses the pressing needs ofmodern IoT *** are initiated with 100 J of stored energy,and energy is consumed at 0.01 J per square meter in each node to emphasize energy-efficient *** algorithm also provides sufficient network lifetime extension to a resourceful 7000 cycles for up to 200 nodes with a maximum Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR)of 99% and a robust network throughput of up to 1800 kbps in more compact node *** study proposes a viable solution to a critical problem and opens avenues for further research into scalable network management for diverse applications.

Brain tumors are one of the deadliest diseases and require quick and accurate methods of detection. Finding the optimum image for research goals is the first step in optimizing MRI images for pre- and post-processing. As a result, the mean grey-level approach was used to segment the MRI images using a threshold. In the second stage of statistical feature analysis, the picture features were extracted using the spatial gray-level dependency matrix using Hara lick's feature equations. As a consequence, the best features were picked and the tumor was placed in the appropriate location. In the third stage, an automated tool for classifying the photographs under assessment as having a tumor or not was created utilizing supervised learning and an artificially intelligent methodology. An efficient test of the network's performance yielded 97% of the desired results. © 2023, The Institution of Engineers (India).

This research paper presents a comprehensive case study conducted in a superstore, introducing a novel gold membership offer and employing sophisticated analytics and machine learning methodologies to identify potential customers. The primary objective of this study is to explore available data to discern the factors influencing customers’ responses to a new supermarket offering. Subsequently, a predictive model is developed to accurately gauge the likelihood of a favorable customer response. In pursuit of enhancing marketing strategies and bolstering sales, this study employs a suite of machine learning techniques, including decision trees, support vector machines, random forests, and XGBoost. Furthermore, the study incorporates metaheuristic optimization algorithms such as grey wolf optimization, slime mold algorithm, multi-verse optimizer, and particle swarm optimization to fine-tune hyperparameters of the machine learning models. These optimization algorithms serve as effective search mechanisms, facilitating the identification of optimal solutions and significantly improving classification performance in the context of the complex superstore problem. The research findings highlight the substantial impact of the metaheuristic strategy, specifically grey wolf optimization, on the performance of all machine learning models. Notably, the random forest model achieved the highest accuracy of 95% with the application of grey wolf optimization. Moreover, the decision tree model demonstrated remarkable improvement in accuracy following hyperparameter tuning with grey wolf optimization. Collectively, these results underscore the critical role of metaheuristic optimization in enhancing the performance of machine learning models for marketing strategies in the superstore industry. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd 2024.

Modern intelligent transportation systems and autonomous driving technologies are quite helpful in light of the population's increasing growth, and they work particularly well when used in conjunction with traffic sign monitoring. By giving drivers accurate and exact traffic signals, such as speed limits, warnings, and directional assistance, this makes transportation much safer. Autonomous vehicles must correctly understand these indicators in order to make wise driving judgments. Accurately identifying and classifying a wide variety of traffic signs in a range of environmental circumstances is a difficulty. A cutting-edge deep learning model created specifically for object recognition tasks is called YOLOv9 (You Only Look Once version 9).In addition to offering respectable speed and accuracy, YOLOv9 expands on the advantages of its predecessors by implementing cutting-edge strategies such as PGI and *** of these improvements, YOLOv9 is especially ideal for real-time applications like recognition of traffic signs, where more accuracy and quick and accurate object identification are essential. With an increased accuracy the results demonstrate the model's stability and dependability and show that it is appropriate for real-world uses in autonomous driving and traffic control. Subsequent investigations will concentrate on improving resilience in various situations, utilizing semi-supervised learning, creating more resource-efficient models, broadening the range of datasets, and combining traffic sign recognition with additional autonomous driving tasks. The development of dependable and effective traffic sign detection systems is furthered by this work. © 2025 IEEE.

The robust performance of deep neural networks (DNNs) in many areas, including medical diagnosis, is not accessible from the problem of interpretability. Even though DNNs have high accuracy, they tend to operate as black boxes, usually without any explanation of which basis their predictions are made. This interpretability issue has become important, especially for high-stakes applications, such as medical image analysis and disease diagnosis, in which people's lives are at risk. The study was structured to raise novel approaches for DNNs, internal representation translation and provide visualizations to assist medical diagnosis tasks and ensure reliable and transparent decision-making procedures. Such techniques have been developed to improve the interpretability of DNN without sacrificing the performance. The models for proposed models succeeded in the clinical tasks of medical diagnosis. They reached competitive accuracy with the best model, obtaining an accuracy of 95.7% and an F1-score of 0.914 on lung abnormality detection from chest X-rays. AUC-ROC high sensitivity and specificity of 0.963 were observed when diagnosing brain tumors based on MRI scans. These models also provided improved faithfulness perceived through saliency maps, which had an average score of 0.82, and concept activation vectors, with a consistency of 0.77 from the evaluation done by medical experts. The suggested methods offer a chance for a better patient outcome via high-precision and safe diagnostics and treatment options with an expected change in misdiagnosis rate of 10-15%. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a unified framework for picture caption generation with the use of deep reinforcement mastering (RL) that combines convolution neural networks (CNNs) with RL. The paper first introduces a country representation as a remark for RL by means of combining CNN-primarily based photo representation and natural language processing (NLP) natural language representation. Then, the paper describes an RL-based reinforcement mastering (RL-RL) set of rules which uses the statement to generate captions. Eventually, the paper shows the experimental consequences of the proposed RL-RL set of rules on real-world datasets and shows that the RL-RL set of rules outperforms the present RL-NLP and CNN-RL algorithms. The paper additionally demonstrates the very best overall performance on the benchmark dataset COCO with a BLEU score of 0.645 and a METEOR score of 0.348. The proposed framework affords a sensible technique to generate interesting and affordable captions for photographs. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent decades, machine learning has its increased problem solving methodologies and applications in various fields of business, marketing, education and medical diagnostics. Among all the ML techniques, some have been employed in the fields of medical sciences to predict various health conditions which require complete analysis of the patient’s health by considering some parameters which impact the health condition of an individual. Low birth weight of infants has been a constant recurring problem which has its visible impacts only after the birth of the baby. It acts as an indicator of sickness in newborn baby’s weight. This can be avoided using suitable ML techniques which predict required values from the information passed to the trained model. The prediction algorithm is implemented using random forest regression algorithms. We are aiming to develop a website which considers the health indicators as inputs from the user and provides them with estimated value by the trained ML model. The measures of metrics used here are the number of gestational days, age of mother, height, weight, plurality, and smoking status of the mother. It is discovered that machine learning approaches and artificial intelligence are extensively examined in a variety of research articles when it comes to the identification of psychologically linked emotional activities. Studies employing datasets like face pictures, personal videos, audio, questionnaire-response, etc., demonstrated the usefulness of artificial intelligence and machine learning methods for the identification of human emotions like anger, happiness, sadness, etc. Human emotions are the result of psychological processes that may be impacted by external everyday routines. The questionnaire-based dataset used in the proposed study shows how anxiety and depression symptoms are configured. The DASS-21 questionnaire dataset includes a common set of questions on everyday activities. The experiment collects participants’ answers to the questions and then uses machine learning techniques to analyze each response. Textual data is used to compile responses from people. The features from the gathered responses are extracted using machine learning techniques. The model uses textual preprocessing units for the textual response dataset in order to more accurately categorize anxiety and depressive symptoms. The written responses have been translated into relevant portions that provide features for this module. The DASS-21 questionnaire-based dataset is subjected to the application of five distinct machine learning techniques in the current method. The model can examine characteristics against large datasets of complex text. The model does feature extraction and classification using methods including SVM, decision trees, random forests, and Naive Bayes.
