The project deal with architecture design, system development and testing of software framework for data management and scheduling of personal sources in home care agencies. Development is started from analyses, over proposal, implementation to resulting testing of application, thereby try cast over whole problems software engineering. System consists of the three main parts PC application, mobile application and database server. All these parts are built on technology Microsoft .NET solutions for desktop and mobile PCs. System works offline, whereas synchronization mobile arrangement with data in database is made only in agency by the help of technology USB, Bluetooth or WiFi. Software layer synchronization administration data is based on technologies ADO .NET and Linq. System will further develop and will base for advancement biomedical science research framework.

Paper shows direct connection and implementation way of designed control schemes of prepared applications to an industrial WinPLC/WinPAC. Described is a way to produce a permanent solution in control applications that are fully prepared, designed and implemented directly from MATLAB/Simulink to the target control platform. As a part, the mentioned solution is using a multiplatform control system REX as a bridge between MATLAB and target platforms. These methods allow minimizing costs of development of control of applications, because it produces target permanent realizations in comparison to classical development methods that usually need expensive real time measurement cards and produce only one purpose development solution.

The paper deal with a mobile wireless connected devices and the problem of their slow wireless connection. The main area of interest is in a model of data prebuffering based system enhancement for locating and tracking users of our control system inside the buildings. The experimental framework prototype uses a WiFi network infrastructure to let a mobile device determine its indoor position. User location is used for data prebuffering and pushing information from server to user's PDA. All server data are saved as artifacts (together) with its position information in building. The accessing of prebuffered data on mobile device can highly improve response time needed to view large multimedia data. On mobile device the SQL Server CE database is used. Mobile device operate with Windows Mobile 6.0 operation system which is real time. All operations in such mobile clients are deterministic.

The main goal of our project is to provide solution which can be used in different areas of health care and which will be available through PDAs (Personal Digital Assistant), web browsers or desktop clients. The realized system deals with an ECG sensor connected to mobile equipment, such as PDA/Embedded, based on Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system. The whole system is based on the architecture of .NET Compact Framework, and Microsoft SQL Server. The project was successfully tested in real environment in cryogenic room (-136°C).

Paper deals with industrial realization of feedback control of demanding applications on their control, control algorithms and visualization together with design, implementation and real time control from MATLAB/Simulink Environment. Described is a way to produce a permanent solution in control applications that are fully prepared, designed and implemented directly from MATLAB/Simulink to the target control platform. As a part, the mentioned solution is using a multiplatform control system REX as a bridge between MATLAB and target platforms. These methods allow minimizing costs of development of control of applications, because it produces target permanent realizations in comparison to classical development methods that usually need expensive real time measurement cards and produce only one purpose development solution. As next benefit the application is created for visualization the data from RT database during the measurement and control process. This last benefit produce an interesting data from real control process to give a next reason to use of WinCon solution.

The MAEAM Model and Anharmonic Theory for the Bulk Modulus of A1 Metal

The modified analytic embedded atom method （MAEAM） model and the anharmonic theory are used to study the bulk modulus of fcc A1 metal. The result shows that the bulk modulus can be described by a quadratic function of temperature. The result is in good agreement with the experimental data and theoretical results calculated by the first principle calculation etc. This outcome indicates that the temperature dependence of the bulk modulus for f cc A1 metal can be academically studied with the MAEAM model combining with the anharmonic theory.

This paper reports on AnnieWAY, an autonomous vehicle that is capable of driving through urban scenarios and that has successfully entered the finals of the 2007 DARPA Urban Challenge competition. After describing the main challenges imposed and the major hardware components, we outline the underlying software structure and focus on selected algorithms. Environmental perception mainly relies on a recent laser scanner which delivers both range and reflectivity measurements. While range measurements are used to provide 3D scene geometry, measuring reflectivity allows for robust lane marker detection. Mission and maneuver planning is conducted using a concurrent hierarchical state machine that generates behavior in accordance with California traffic laws. We conclude with a report of the results achieved during the competition. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.

Since the increase of terrors and crimes, the demand of the video surveillance system is increasing. The video surveillance system has been operated for public interest by the police and local government. However private information such as faces or behavior patterns can be recorded in CCTV, it may cause the invasion of privacy. This paper proposes a video surveillance system that satisfies both functions of privacy protection and surveillance. The proposed system operates multiple surveillance cameras with a single RFID system. The RFID system is used in order to recognize internal or external personnel of object at entrance and cameras are used to extract features such as height and clothing-colors of the object. The proposed system can reduce invasion of privacy by intensity of scrambling according to access levels. Based on the experimental results, we are able to confirm that surveillant can classify personnel information fast and exactly in the display.

Optimization based synthesis of state derivative feedback controllers for retarded systems

The paper presents an optimization based algorithm for stabilizing retarded systems using a state derivative feedback controller. It is shown that an application of such a controller results in neutral dynamics of the closed loop system if small feedback delays occur. Therefore, the strong stability theory of neutral systems needs to be considered in the controller synthesis problem. The stabilization approach is based on minimizing the spectral abscissa of the closed loop system over the controller parameter space, subject to a strong stability constraint.
