With regard to the fundamental problem of the MANET routing protocols, this paper according to the campus mobile node behaviour, aims to establish a campus wireless mobile model based on AOC system. Through NS-2 simulation platform extensive simulate result and analysis of different mobile fashion which effect on the MANET routing protocol performance: in the aspect of Packet Delivery Ratio,DSR and AODV both surpass 95%, were not greatly affected by the changes of node mobile rate; DSDV and DSR closed to the Path Optimality.

According to complex of gearbox test online, this paper introduces a gearbox test system based on automatic shift manipulator. Optimal shift law plays an important role in improving work efficiency and prolonging service life of gearbox. It was more intelligent that judging optimal shift by using neural network. The shift procedure was a complicated nonlinear time-varying one, involving many variables, so the expert system was used to control shift procedure. Then it was a more personification procedure owing to fast and accurate operations. Good running state of system proved success for application of neural network and expert system in product test. Moreover the system had some guiding significance in intelligent and personification control of manipulator.

We have studied the origin of the increasing source access resistance in GaN HEMTs through a combination of theoretical modeling, simulations and experimental approaches. The reduction of the differential mobility as the electric field in the source region increases to 30 KV/cm in open channel conditions has been identified as the main cause of the increasing access resistance. Although excellent qualitative agreement between our modeling/simulations and the experimental results has been found, the quantitative results are very sensitive to the actual transport model in nitrides. From our results, the electron transport in the 10-30 kV/cm range is better described by a Trofimenkoff model than by the different Monte Carlo simulations reported in the literature, which indicates than current Monte Carlo techniques are overestimating the mobility at moderate electric fields (10-30 KV/cm). The design of new transistor structures with more constant access resistances is critical to improve the frequency performance and linearity of these devices and several new structures will be proposed at the meeting.

This paper presents a novel face recognition technique with graph topology drawn on scale invariant feature transform (SIFT) features and is compared with all the available well known techniques on SIFT features, and elastic bunch graph matching (EBGM) technique drawn on gabor wavelet feature. IITK face database is used for evaluation purpose. Test results show that the proposed graph matching technique will be an appropriate one for face recognition. Finally, the test results have been compared with the results found on BANCA face database following MC protocol only.

A new software tool for time series prediction by means of fuzzy inference systems is reported. This tool, named xftsp, implements a novel methodology for time series prediction based on methods for automatic fuzzy systems identification and supervised learning combined with statistical methods for nonparametric residual variance estimation. xftsp is designed as a tool integrated in the Xfuzzy development environment for fuzzy systems. Experiments carried out on a number of time series benchmarks show the advantages of xftsp in terms of both accuracy and computational requirements as compared against Least-Squared Support Vector Machines, an established technique in the field of time series prediction.

This paper proposes a new information retrieval method based on fuzzy rough sets theory. In the approach, firstly, the traditional Mutual Information function are used to compute the semantic association weight among document characteristic words, i.e., construct the thesaurus, the similar concept class of each characteristic word is mined based on it. Secondly, the fuzzy-rough set of document and query is built with thesaurus and similar concept class, its lower and upper approximation expand the expression of document and query, it implements conceptual expansion by association semantics. Finally, the semantic closeness between document and query is computed by the semantic distance on fuzzy-rough set, the ordinal results are returned to user according to the close degree value. The user can also adjust support threshold to get his satisfactory research objects through feedback information. This method can realize conceptual retrieval. At the end of the paper, an example is given for further illustration.

Neural networks have been used as an effective method for solving many problems in a wide range of application areas. As neural networks are being more and more widely used in recent years, the need for their more formal definition becomes increasingly apparent. This paper presents a novel architecture of neural network models using the functional graph. The network creates a graph representation by dynamically allocating nodes to code local form attributes and establishing arcs to link them. In this paper application of functional graph in the architecture of electronic neural network, opto-electronic neural network and genetic neural network are detailed with experimental results. Learning is defined in terms of functional graph. The proposed architectures are applied in evaluating 3G wireless network performance.

This paper is dealing with redundant optoelectronic data transmission with special respect to laser channels. The concept of the generalized erasure channel (GEC) is used to determine the probability of undetected error for some binary symmetric and non-symmetric channels protected by appropriate codes. In detail, communication via different binary symmetric channels (BSCs), generalized erasure channels and symmetrized binary non symmetric channels (BNSCs) is investigated. Simple upper bounds are given, relating the new formulas to that one of the BSC Finally the results in connection with an inequality for proper codes are applied to multi wavelength optical transmission through channels generated by semiconductor lasers.
