Time Complexity is an important metric to compare algorithms based on their cardinality. The commonly used, trivial notations to qualify the same are the Big-Oh, Big-Omega, Big-Theta, Small-Oh, and Small-Omega Notations. All of them, consider time a part of the real entity, i.e., Time coincides with the horizontal axis in the argand plane. But what if the Time rather than completely coinciding with the real axis of the argand plane, makes some angle with it? We are trying to focus on the case when the Time Complexity will have both real and imaginary components. For Instance, if T (n) = n log n, the existing asymptomatic notations are capable of handling that in real time But, if we come across a problem where, T (n) = n log n+i·n2, where, i = 2√−1, the existing asymptomatic notations will not be able to catch up. To mitigate the same, in this research, we would consider proposing the Zeta Notation (ζ), which would qualify Time in both the Real and Imaginary Axis, as per the Argand Plane. © 2023, CC BY.

Predicting the rainfall level plays an important role in our daily lives, as the weather is changing day-to-day and it is emerging as a difficult task to predict the accurate weather. Rainfall prediction is important for traveling, sports, agriculture, and other different outdoor activities. Different machine algorithms like SVM, random forest and decision tree for rainfall prediction have been studied. To predict rainfall, a system is developed based on deep neural networks. As difficult tasks can be solved by a deep neural network, it is used here to predict rainfall and to set weights and bias. If parameters of models are not set properly then the model will not be able to predict the desired output for the given input, there are various optimizers available for optimizing various parameters of neural network models like adam and gradient descent. By using these optimizers, the deep neural network delivers better performance, when compared with machine learning models. © 2020 IEEE.

Cardiovascular Diseases (CVDs), or heart diseases, are one of the top-ranking causes of death worldwide. About 1 in every 4 deaths is related to heart diseases, which are broadly classified as various types of abnormal heart conditions. However, diagnosis of CVDs is a time-consuming process in which data obtained from various clinical tests are manually analyzed. Therefore, new approaches for automating the detection of such irregularities in human heart conditions should be developed to provide medical practitioners with faster analysis by reducing the time of obtaining a diagnosis and enhancing results. Electronic Health Records(EHRs) are often utilized to discover useful data patterns that help improve the prediction of machine learning algorithms. Specifically, Machine Learning contributes significantly to solving issues like predictions in various domains, such as healthcare. Considering the abundance of available clinical data, there is a need to leverage such information for the betterment of humankind. Researchers have built various predictive models and systems over the years to help cardiologists and medical practitioners analyze data to attain meaningful insights. In this work, a predictive model is proposed for heart disease prediction based on the stacking of various classifiers in two levels(Base level and Meta level). Various heterogeneous learners are combined to produce strong model outcomes. The model obtained 92% accuracy in prediction with precision score of 92.6%, sensitivity of 92.6%, and specificity of 91%. The performance of the model was evaluated using various metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, F1-scores, and area under the ROC curve values. © 2022 The Author(s)

Total Electron Content (TEC) is most important considerable parameter of the ionosphere for any satellite based navigation system. It affects the performance of navigation system by degrading its user position accuracy. Hence, in this paper, the variability of Global Positioning System (GPS) TEC during the low solar activity period of 24th solar cycle, 2017 year over Hyderabad (HYDE) International GNSS Services (IGS) station, India is discussed. Monthly, seasonal and annual variations of TEC during geomagnetic quiet and disturbed days are examined, compared and differences are statistically analyzed. The maximum deviations between quiet and disturbed days are found in equinox months than solstice months. The obtained results will be helpful in modeling of ionospheric TEC during low solar activity period. © 2020 IEEE.

In this paper, a sex-segregated study of COVID-19 infected patients and casualties is done for different climatic conditions. We study the COVID data to identify the trend of infections and casualties based on the change in temperature and other climatic features. The countries with non-homogeneous climates are broken down into respective subdivisions which consist of uniform climate. It is found that, with an increase in temperature, the sex ratio in COVID-19 infected patients and especially casualties become more disproportionate. Males have a higher mortality rate and the susceptibility of females decreases as we move from a cold to a hot climate. © 2020 IEEE.

One of the fundamental processes in digital signal processing is convolution. The mathematical process of mixing two signals to create a third signal is called convolution. Utilizing a Vedic multiplier, Urdhava Triyagbhyam Sutra or UT sutra, based on one of the sixteen Vedic mathematics sutras, linear and circular convolution processing is accelerated. The Urdhava Triyagbhyam multiplier compared to other traditional multipliers offers faster results. Multiplier having pipelining architecture is also used to compute the convolution (circular and linear) of two sequences because it speeds up the multiplication process. Xilinx ISE Design suite 14.7 software is used to carry out the simulation and synthesis using VHDL. The area and delay for 4 bit and 8 bit circular and linear convolution is computed.

As the development over a computer is going up, many systems are under the process of development and several systems exist which are working for storage and retrieval of images based on their content of the image, these types of systems are called CBIR. It is comparatively costlier than an image indexing system, but more accurate too. Hence, this reveals that there exists a proportional relation between accurateness and the computational cost. This swapping reduces cost and more competent algorithms are introduced and increased computational power turns into inexpensive. In this paper, an honest effort is made to retrieve the closest image to the input by the user from the image database. In this newly designed system, all the images are stored in the database as in the form of a visual content matrix and matching is performed using that matrix. In query based image management system (QBIMS), the primary description of the image is given by its shape, texture, and color. The working principle behind QBIMS is completely different than that of indexing. This helps QBIMS to fetch the closest image from the digital image datasets. Through this proposed tool an attempt is made for the purpose of computing power increment as well as cost decrement of the whole system. Blockchain innovation has gathered significant attention from both scholars and industry professionals after years of development. This technology enables the creation of smart contracts, which facilitate automated deal execution among users. Today, blockchain is also employed as a specialized infrastructure in some IT applications, helping prevent data duplication, similar to how Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies manage transaction records. Bitcoin records, for instance, are exceptionally secure as the currency circulates across hundreds of thousands of servers, making it nearly impossible to alter. For a successful breach, an attacker would need to manipulate records on 51% of these servers simultaneously. In contrast, private data stored on single servers, such as those managed by Amazon and Google, are more vulnerable to cyberattacks. In this paper, the study propose leveraging blockchain to address security concerns in the Internet of Things. The study identifies and categorizes common security challenges, with a focus on data privacy issues, as well as the protocols used for network organization, communication, and management. Following this, the study outline security solutions for IoT and illustrate scenarios in which blockchain is applied within IoT applications.

Today secure data hiding is remaining as the demanding topic because of its advantages. Most of the things are delivering electronically during these days, so steganography fulfills this requirement by providing safe data hiding. In this paper, wavelet based secure data hiding is proposed. Initially, the secrete image is encrypted by using pixel scrambling operation with circular shift and swapping operation then the resultant image is added to the cover image. Scrambling process is applied up to N round. The resultant image picture quality has been improved by applying pixel-based correlation operation. The results show the strength of proposed technique. The proposed technique is more robust because the secret image is initially scrambled before embedding. © 2020 IEEE.
