Hidden biometrics features may induce identification of a human being without using the visual structural features. The chances of forgery are reduced substantially through hidden biometrics. We are exploring the capabilities of brain structure to be used as biometric. For this we have estimated uniqueness between the structural features of human brains corresponding to different subjects. So qualifying and quantifying the uniqueness in structure of the brain should lead to subject identification. Subject identification has been done by the brain print extracted from brain structures. The proposed approach is reliable than brain signals based biometric techniques. Our aim is to extract non-linear curves having approximate brain structural information instead of considering brain to be of predefined abstract regular shapes. The results are optimistic as we are able to extract enough number of brain curves from a securely selected slice from complete brain map ensuring the scalability of the approach. © 2018 IEEE.

Processing of an Image is done by computing algorithms and efficient program by applying various concepts on digital images. In digital image processing each pixel value of an image is related to some signal value. During processing of an Image there are some changes in actual value of signal due to devices, weather conditions, etc. These changes led to the noise in image which is somewhat signal distortion. There are numbers of algorithms available for identification and correction of signal distortion i.e change in pixel values or intensities. Each processing algorithms has its limitations. Wavelet transforms is one of good and efficient tool for denoising a noisy image. Removing of noises from images needs the proper way so there is reduction the strength of processing system in terms of time, money, system resources. By effective analysis of de-noising techniques and comparison using various filters an Image processing system is more efficient. © 2018 IEEE.

Superpixel segmentation methods are generally used as a pre-processing step to speed up image processing tasks. They group the pixels of an image into homogeneous regions while trying to respect existing contours. In this paper, we propose a fast Superpixels segmentation algorithm with Contour Adherence using spectral clustering, combined with normalized cuts in an iterative k-means clustering framework. It produces compact and uniform superpixels with low computational costs. Normalized cut is adapted to measure the color similarity and space proximity between image pixels. We have used a kernel function to estimate the similarity metric. Kernel function maps the pixel values and coordinates into a high dimensional feature space. The objective functions of weighted K-means and normalized cuts share the same optimum point in this feature space. So it is possible to optimize the cost function of normalized cuts by iteratively applying simple K-means clustering algorithm. The proposed framework produces regular and compact superpixels that adhere to the image contours. On segmentation comparison benchmarks it proves to be equally well or better than the state-of-the-art super pixel segmentation algorithms in terms of several commonly used evaluation metrics in image segmentation. In addition, our method is computationally very efficient and its computational complexity is linear. © 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd.

Structural properties and α-decay chains of transfermium nuclei (101≤Z≤110)

Transfermium nuclei (101≤Z≤110) are investigated thoroughly to describe structural properties viz. deformation, radii, shapes, magicity, etc. as well as their probable decay chains. These properties are explored using relativistic mean-field (RMF) approach and compared with other theories along with available experimental data. Neutron numbers N=152 and 162 have come forth with a deformed shell gap whereas N=184 is ensured as a spherical magic number. The region with N>168 bears witness of the phenomenon of shape transition and shape coexistence for all the considered isotopic chains. Experimental α-decay half-lives are compared with our theoretical half-lives obtained by using various empirical/semi-empirical formulas. The recent formula proposed by Manjunatha et al., which results best among the considered 10 formulas, is further modified by adding asymmetry dependent terms (I and I2). This modified Manjunatha formula is utilized to predict probable α-decay chains that are found in excellent agreement with available experimental data. Copyright © 2020, The Authors. This study reports on the second harmonic generation (SHG) of barium titanate (BaTiO 3 ) nanoparticles synthesized by a low-cost and easily-accessible sol-gel hydrothermal method at different temperatures (100-250 °C). According to the powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern, all of the prepared samples had meta-phase without a centre of symmetry and the crystal structure changes from simple cubic to rhombohedral at different temperatures. In addition to XRD, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) confirms the meta-phase in BaTiO 3 by showing a significant phase shift indicating structural distortion. The variation in particle size was observed from transmission electron microscope (TEM) images and the selected area electron diffraction (SAED) pattern as well supports the presence of structural distortion in the nanomaterials. The phase variation in BaTiO 3 has not only affected its structure, but also creates a disorder in its magnetic properties by changing it from paramagnetic to ferromagnetic for different synthesizing temperatures. This was determined with a vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) techniques. As a consequence of this structural deformation, particle size variation, and magnetic phase transition the second harmonic generation (SHG) conversion efficiency of BaTiO 3 has been improved. Hence this technique for synthesizing nanomaterials could be a promising candidate for fabricating bio-compatible imaging probes and coherent bio-markers in the field of medicine and electronics. © 2022, The Authors. This is a weighted cluster algorithm based on re-clustering approach for OLSR and DSR protocols in MANET. In this protocol, all the nodes of the networks are clustered into a single cluster;we have analyzed the way how to compute the trusting values according to their interaction performances between the nodes. Based on the trusting value, we can decide and check whether the connection between the two nodes is reliable or not. On the basis of no. of reliable connections, we can choose the cluster head in the cluster, and the nodes which hold solid association with cluster head will be the base nodes, base nodes and the cluster head can work together for being the service providing congregation (group) for the cluster. Each member will circulate a secret share mechanism which will be a part of secret key for itself, and come into being the parameter of authentication in the processing of investigation about the up to date requirement in the next cluster, and the obscure and secret share mechanism can also be authenticated by the node itself. One node has been confirmed as a malicious node at a time;cluster head broadcasts the information to all the cluster members and refuse to provide updating service for the particular malicious node. The protocol has absolute forward confidentiality and backward confidentiality. The keys of nodes and cluster are generated after discussion among the service group members, Man-in-the-middle attack can be resisted by this way. At the same time, the cluster can achieve the periodic update, the cluster head will be reelected, service group will be reformed, subsequently, the key of cluster and nodes will be updated as well. © 2017 IEEE.

Sensor nodes distribute data in their network region. This study proposes if there are cluster peripheral nodes and they act as a multimedia byte stream supplier then they can act as a router and can route stream from one cluster to another cluster. These nodes can serve as an inter-cluster routing node. Peripheral-node can circulate messages to another cluster node as well as their nearby nodes. They can communicate with respective cluster heads. The control messages are called as beacons. These beacons contain the peripheral area and hierarchy structure information tm the area scope exists. Thus, the region can be well defined for each cluster. The cluster has cluster region and cluster members are taken care by cluster peripheral nodes to communicate with rest of the nodes inside and outside the cluster as well as within the cluster. The nodes responsible for processing is called a cluster processor or processor's head. These processor heads can communicate and supply payload to other cluster processor head using cluster peripheral level routing node without interrupting internal cluster nodes. This study proposes the payload handling in term of array or stream of the compressed image. These image data are circulated from a set of the processing node to another set of the processing node. Processing can be accomplished in parallel processing fashion.

As the robot manipulators are widely used in today's hi-tech industrialization for carrying out various tasks, the precise control of it necessitates further study. For conceptualizing the structure, characteristics and functionality of robot under different circumstances, the demand of virtual modelling increased. As robot manipulator's dynamics as well as kinematics (forward and inverse) are nonlinear in nature and are computationally intensive, a virtual model in MATLAB & SIMULINK has been developed for the same. The dynamics based on Lagrangian-Euler form is presented and simulated by a PID controller. © 2018 IEEE.

A constant framework for perceiving faces in a video stream gave by an observation camera was actualized, having continuous face identification.
