Many more corporate entities today are utilizing ICTs to identify opportunities for innovative and customer-centric, value-added products and services. Indeed, information systems have been key characteristic of any growing and successful businesses, as they utilize ICTs for business value creation. The key motivation for the huge investment in IT infrastructures is to ensure an upsurge in revenue and retention of sizeable market share. computer Usage policy is a document that provides guidelines that regulates the acceptable usage of these systems by end- users. The provision of these guidelines also serve as benchmark metrics in assessing the abuse or misuse of corporate information systems. These misuse and/or abuse are referred to as violations of computer usage in this study. 10 users, selected randomly from within each unit of a multi-lateral company, were observed for violations. Live computer forensics techniques utilizing EnCase, Microsoft reporting tools, WinHex, etc., were employed to investigate these violations. Notwithstanding the strict corporate policies, the study revealed that end-users virtually violated all computer usage policies. This paper further analyses and addresses the causes, effects and offers measures to mitigate computer usage violations.

In many organizations large amount of data are collected. These data are sometimes used by the organizations for data mining tasks. However, the data collected may contain private or sensitive information which should be protected. Privacy protection is an important issue if we release data for the mining or sharing purpose. Privacy preserving data mining techniques allow publishing data for the mining purpose while at the same time preserve the private information of the individuals. Many techniques have been proposed for privacy preservation but they suffer from various types of attacks and information loss. In this paper we proposed an efficient approach for privacy preservation in data mining. Our technique protects the sensitive data with less information loss which increase data usability and also prevent the sensitive data for various types of attack. Data can also be reconstructed using our proposed technique.

Image Registration means to align two image data sets to conclude the common features and differences. This is also referred as a geometrical transformation of image data sets. In this paper we have templates that how we can minimize the time and error in surface based image registration process of 3-D data sets using Point Cloud data structure. Here we have approached the work very much in a different way than the conventional approach in which the type of data sets are varies according to the image type like if the image is 2-D then the data sets are in 2-D space else if image in 3-D then data sets in 3-D space respectively. Primarily we worked on 3-D data sets which are normally used in medical industry to store the CT images, MRI images and Tumor images and also used to make 3-D models of real objects. We have used surface based image registration method in order to register the 3-D datasets. We have worked and studied on an I.C.P algorithm which registers two 3-D data sets and find the closet points into data sets as per giving tolerance distance. We make a test on different 3-D datasets like .csv, .seabed and .xyz after getting results we conclude that .xyz data sets of point cloud data structure is far better from other 3-D data sets for image registration in context of time and in error rate.

Fog, haze and smoke are a big reason of road accidents. Fog reduces contrast level of the image that affects the visual quality of the image. In field of computer vision visual quality and visibility level of an image is affected by airlight and attenuation phenomena. Air particles, which present in atmosphere and affect the visibility level of any object, are called noise or unwanted signal between observer and object. For improving the visibility level of an image and reducing fog and noise various image enhancement methods are used. After enhancement is again restored the enhanced image by restoration methods. For improving the visibility level 4 major steps are used. First step is acquisition process of foggy images. Second is estimation process (estimate scattering phenomena, visibility level). Third is enhancement process (improve visibility level, reduce fog or noise level). Last step is restoration process (restore enhanced image). The main aim of this paper is to review state-of-art image enhancement and restoration methods for improving the quality and visibility level of an image which provide clear image in bad weather condition. We also compare prevalent approaches in this area through implementation of the methods keeping parameters common for critical analysis. In the end we provide the future scope for working directions in this area for the readers.

Contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is used for improve the visibility level of foggy image or video. In this paper we used CLAHE enhancement method for improving the video quality in real time system. Adaptive histogram equalization (AHE) is different from normal histogram equalization because AHE use several methods each corresponding to different parts of image and used them to redistribute the lightness value of the image and in case of CLAHE `Distribution' parameter are used to define the shape of histogram which produce the better quality result compare then adaptive histogram equalization (AHE). In this algorithm rayleigh distribution parameter are used which create bell shaped histogram. The drawback of AHE is work over homogeneous fog but CLAHE applied over both homogeneous and heterogeneous fog and single image and video system. And the second drawback of AHE is used `cumulation function' which applied over only gray level image but CLAHE used both images colored and graylevel.

Digital filters are used in signal processing to improve the quality of signal and to remove/reduce noise. Fog is a type of unwanted signal which create visuality difference between object and viewer. For removing this type of unwanted signal, digital filters are used. Digital filter is divided into two parts: finite impulse response (FIR) and infinite impulse response (IIR). The author introduced a new approach for improving the quality of foggy image and to increase peak signal to noise ratio. In this paper author used finite impulse response filter for foggy image which work over zero to finite time interval. In FIR filter, separable filter coefficients are used which reduce the amount of calculation. For improving image contrast hgamma correction function is used. After contrast adjustment of input image, contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) is applied over an image and produce an enhanced image. The main aim of this paper is to improve the quality of foggy image using digital FIR filter and contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization. We also compare previous algorithms in this field through implementation of the methods keeping same parameter for critical analysis. In the end of this article author provide the future scope for working direction.

Fuzzy decision tree or Soft Decision Tree (SDT) classifier using interval type-2 fuzzy logic rule based data mining for steam turbine fault analysis of a power system rotatory machine component is used not only for database analyses, but also for machine learning. The classification rules are based on standardized vibration frequency data for steam turbines and field experts' analyses of turbine vibration problems. The system can identify twenty types of standard steam turbine faults. The system was developed using 1500 simulated data sets. The data mining methods were then used to identify 20 explicit rules for the turbine faults. The results indicate that the fuzzy decision tree classifier using interval type-2 fuzzy logic rule based data mining can be effectively applied to diagnosis of rotating machinery by giving useful rules to interpret the data. The data mining and analysis was implemented between the fault information dimensions table and the relationship rule dimensions table. We made sure the causes of the fault and chose the priority solution for troubleshooting by generating candidates sets and filtering the candidate set and matching the fault. Fuzzy decision trees called soft decision trees (SDT) combines tree growing and pruning, to determine the structure of the soft decision tree, with refitting and back fitting, to improve its generalization capabilities. Moreover, a global model variance study shows a much lower variance for soft decision trees than for standard trees as a direct cause of the improved accuracy.

India has a very large electricity grid in the world, consist of five regional grids. The major disturbance occurred in the Northern grid at 02.33AM of 30 th July 2012 leading to a blackout in nearly the entire northern region covering all the 8 States. The main cause was the mal operation of zone 3 distance relay due to load encroachment, weak inter-regional corridor and multiple outage of line. In this paper a new algorithm is proposed for numerical relay to protect grid during load encroachment and avoid the unforeseen blackout. The new algorithm is simulated for numerical relay and gives the expected result and prevents the leading of blackout in electricity grid.

Since last thirty years, more research has been done in the area of reconstructing multi-dimensional objects from two-dimensional camera images. To capture the feature correspondences are one of the ordinary tasks among them. e.g., a same projection is addressed for multi-dimensional geometrical or textural feature of multiple images. Traditionally structure estimation reconstruction is based on either stereo image pairs or monocular image sequences. Boundaries in both of these approaches are generating to interest for measuring structure in stereo image sequences. In this paper we discuss, an Enhance matching in multi-dimension image reconstruction (EMMR) algorithm using stereo image sequences. The proposed EMMR algorithm has incrementally dense representation of feature extraction of images. We are expressly concerned this approach in the context of recognizing pineapple feature reconstruction and enhancing, dock and fault analysis. Conclusion is drained and possible future work is discussed.

Incredible evolution of Internet, Digital devices and communication channels lead to an enormous increase in data leading to demand of Data security systems. Image stenography is the technique to hide data inside an image. This paper proposes a message dependent image stenography technique for concealing information into a cover image. Arnold transform is used with 24-bit key insertion before Haar Wavelet Transform based compression of message signal ensuring the security of the message from the untrusted third party. Then based on the statistical features and Payload efficiency decided by the user, the technique finds the adequate coefficients from cover image maintaining the high visual quality for the image. Experimental results show that the technique works better for payload less than 50%as the PSNR for 50 images were found to be 42.75dB. Higher the payload lowers the quality of staego image obtained.
