Over the last few years, self-driving vehicles have expanded dramatically. They look promising in decreasing traffic accidents and congestion on roads. In order for this approach to work, simulations tend to be a cheaper, more efficient, and a safer way than live testing. In this paper, we present a simulator that tests the self-driving car's CNN model in a virtual environment. To avoid the hassle of collecting huge amount of training and testing data for preliminary testing, we also propose a method to collect data (images, steering value and throttle value) using PID controllers in the virtual environment itself.

In the present study, kenaf fibers were treated with sodium acetate at varying chemical concentrations (10%, 15% and 20%) for different treatment time. The investigation was carried out to study the effect of chemical treatment on chemical and thermal properties of kenaf fiber and its composites. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy was performed to detect the removal of non-cellulosic content from kenaf fiber after chemical treatment. Glass transition temperature and specific heat capacity of treated and untreated fibers reinforced composites can be obtained by differential scanning calorimeter. The crystallinity and average crystallinity size of the developed composites were evaluated by XRD. The exhibited results show that the effect on physical and chemical properties were due to the removal of non-cellulosic content from fiber after chemical treatment.

Present study focuses on the manufacturing and mechanical characterization of hybrid jute/flax/epoxy composite in dry and one year water aged condition. Mechanical characterization includes the tensile, flexural, impact and hardness testing of the developed jute/flax/epoxy hybrid composite. Experimental findings clearly showed the percentage reduction in the corresponding property of the specimen after one year of water immersion as compared to dry specimen. Hybrid jute/flax/epoxy composite showed 37.74% reduction in tensile strength, 33.6% reduction in flexural strength and 2.08% reduction in hardness.

In this paper memristor based RC phase shift oscillator and Colpitts oscillator have been proposed. In the proposed oscillators resistors and inductors present in the conventional circuits have been replaced by memristors. Memristor characteristics like nano scale dimension, low power consumption and electronic programmability help in achieving high performance oscillators. LTspice has been used to simulate the conventional and proposed circuits. These simulaton results show that RC phase shift and Colpitts oscillators can be tuned in the frequency range of 3 to5 kHz and 52 to 58 kHz respectively, if controlling voltage is changed from 0.3 to 1.8 V.

This systematic review examines the health risk assessment of fluoride and nitrate concentrations in drinking water sources across India. 1250 studies on fluoride and nitrate in Indian waters were examined between 2015 and 2024; following thorough evaluation and exclusion, 55 high-quality, pertinent papers were chosen. The results were shown using a geographic information system (GIS) and corresponding zoning maps. Alarmingly, more than 40 % and 50 % of samples investigated exceeded the allowable level set for fluoride and nitrate concentration in potable water 1.5 mg/L and 50 mg/L, posing potential Health risks. The results indicated that the HQ of fluoride and nitrate across all targeted groups (children, teenagers, and adults) exceeded 1. The HQ values were 3.206, 2.466, 1.9764 for fluoride and 6.487, 4.99, 3.998 for nitrate. Significantly, the order of vulnerability was children > teenagers > adults, with children being the most vulnerable group to fluoride and nitrate consumptions in the investigated locations. This research study shows that a detailed investigation of the hydro geochemistry of fluoride and nitrate can predict groundwater quality zones of the state using machine-learning techniques, viz., artificial neural network (ANN) and extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost) regression. The ANN and XGBoost models, with their high R 2 values of 0.9991 and 0.9992 in training, and 0.9868 and 0.8943 in testing, inspire confidence in their predictive power. The average RMSE values during training were 0.0441 and 0.0067 for fluoride. Similarly, the R 2 values of 0.9998 and 0.9985 in training, and 0.9956 and 0.9448 in testing, along with the average RMSE values of 0.0441 and 0.0067 for nitrate, further reinforce the models' predictive capabilities. Therefore, fluoride and nitrate amounts must be measured in diverse water sources to determine the optimal removal technique and limit human health risks.

Intramuscular fat is one of the crucial quality indices in meat grading. The traditional intramuscular fat detection methods like chemical, visual, nuclear magnetic resonance etc. are tedious, costly and time-consuming whereas edge detection techniques are fast and non-destructive testing methods. In this paper hyper smoothing function-based edge detection technique is proposed for intramuscular fat detection. The proposed method utilizes an improved counting scheme and the relationship between surrounding pixels and centric pixel. The scheme calculates fat percentage, fat fleck size distribution and homogeneity. The quantitative analysis of results shows that the fat percentage measured by HLBP is more accurate as compared to black and white method and energy and skewness based fat detection method.
