Properly created and securely communicated,non-disclosure agreement(NDA)can resolve most of the common disputes related to outsourcing of offshore software maintenance(OSMO).Occasionally,these NDAs are in the form of *** the work is done offshore,these agreements or images must be shared through the Internet or stored over the *** breach of privacy,on the other hand,is a potential threat for the image owners as both the Internet and cloud servers are not void of *** article proposes a novel algorithm for securing the NDAs in the form of *** an agreement is signed between the two parties,it will be encrypted before sending to the cloud server or travelling through the public network,the *** the image is input to the algorithm,its pixels would be scrambled through the set of randomly generated rectangles for an arbitrary amount of *** confusion effects have been realized through an XOR operation between the confused image,and chaotic ***,5D multi-wing hyperchaotic system has been employed to spawn the chaotic vectors due to good properties of chaoticity it *** machine experimentation and the security analysis through a comprehensive set of validation metric vividly demonstrate the robustness,defiance to the multifarious threats and the prospects for some real-world application of the proposed encryption algorithm for the NDA images.

This paper presents a personalized fitness mobile application with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), namely Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), which contributes to injury rehabilitation. It automatically generates customized workout plans on a weekly basis, taking into consideration user-supplied data on issues such as injury type, fitness level, body mass index, and available equipment. The system continuously updates the workout plans with the help of feedback provided by the user to achieve the best recovery process. Built with React Native for the frontend and Django for the backend, this application guarantees access anytime, anywhere, with smooth data treatment. The paper further reflects on the general implications of using AI in e-fitness, stresses intuitive user interfaces, and furthers possibilities such technologies could undergo.

Extensive research in telecommunications and especially in wireless systems assisted by reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS) has emerged at the forefront of cutting-edge wireless communications nowadays. RISs are composed of several arrays of passive elements, where their purpose is to receive the transmitted signal and send it to the corresponding receiver. One of the main disadvantages of RIS, due to the various processes performed in the RIS controller, is the channel estimation time. Therefore, research has focused on optimized channel estimation algorithms in multiple input- multiple output (MIMO) systems to reduce channel overhead and estimation time. In a previous publication, we presented the methodologies that have been used for channel estimation and our goal in this research is to simulate the proposed algorithms on a common system and common parameters. The presentation of the operation mode of the optimal channel estimation methodologies is implemented in a multiple input- single output (MISO) system and in a Base Station (BS) -RIS-user channel. Then we will present in detail the results of the comparison of the methods and mention future scenarios that can be tested.

With the recent expansion of patient data availability and storage capabilities, healthcare entities tend to store an increasing amount of medical data locally. In addition, ongoing advances in the era of healthcare industry 5.0 and Artificial Intelligence of Things can lead to more efficient use of medical data, resulting in better health monitoring at lower costs. However, due to strict privacy restrictions related to the sensitive nature of medical data, it is often only used locally and ultimately underutilized. To this end, federated learning (FL) offers a promising solution for the efficient use of medical data, facilitating the development of reliable and robust healthcare tools. This can be achieved thanks to its decentralized nature, which allows participating entities to collaborate and thus develop and train a centralized shared model without requiring data sharing. Taking this into account, we present a Pareto-front optimization framework for FL-based health monitoring that is able to mitigate false negative predictions for the required level of false positives. By applying the proposed framework to four different medical applications, it is shown that the risk of misdiagnosis is significantly reduced, providing an additional tool for medical professionals. © 2014 IEEE.

This paper presents a simulation study on integrating grid-connected photovoltaic (PV) systems with a potential to implement battery storage in residential settings. It analyses the performance and feasibility of such systems in enhancing self-consumption and energy export. The simulation model considers factors like household energy demand profiles, and PV output profiles. Through this analysis, it is anticipated to offer insights for homeowners, policymakers, and industry stakeholders on achieving greater energy independence and resilience. Finally, findings show that the attempt to effectively utilise battery storage in a residence while aiming for the most economically feasible system heavily depends on the load demand. It was observed that no matter the profile of the building or the energy utilisation, there is no significant change in energy costs. However, the results manifested an upcoming trend for utilising energy that will prove beneficial for costumers.

In this work, we investigate the physical-layer security (PLS) of ambient backscatter communication nonorthogonal multiple access (AmBC-NOMA) networks where noncolluding eavesdroppers (Eves) are randomly distributed. In the proposed system, a base station (BS) transmits a superimposed signal to a typical NOMA user pair, while a backscatter device (BD) simultaneously transmits its unique signal by reflecting and modulating the BS’s signal. Meanwhile, Eves passively attempt to wiretap the ongoing transmissions. Notably, the number and locations of Eves are unknown, posing a substantial security threat to the system. To address this challenge, the BS injects artificial noise (AN) to mislead the Eves, and a protected zone is employed to create an Eve-exclusion area around the BS. Theoretical expressions for outage probability (OP) and intercept probability (IP) are provided to evaluate the system’s reliability– security tradeoff. Asymptotic behavior at high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) is further explored, including the derivation of diversity orders for the OP. Numerical results validate the analytical findings through extensive simulations, demonstrating that both the AN injection and protected zone can effectively enhance PLS. Furthermore, analysis and insights of different key parameters, including transmit SNR, reflection efficiency at the BD, power allocation coefficient, power fraction allocated to desired signal, Eve-exclusion area radius, Eve distribution density, and backscattered AN cancellation efficiency, on OP and IP are also provided. © 2014 IEEE.

New fractional operators, the COVID-19 model has been studied in this paper. By using different numericaltechniques and the time fractional parameters, the mechanical characteristics of the fractional order model areidentified. The uniqueness and existence have been established. Themodel’sUlam-Hyers stability analysis has beenfound. In order to justify the theoretical results, numerical simulations are carried out for the presented methodin the range of fractional order to show the implications of fractional and fractal *** applied very effectivenumerical techniques to obtain the solutions of themodel and simulations. Also, we present conditions of existencefor a solution to the proposed epidemicmodel and to calculate the reproduction number in certain state conditionsof the analyzed dynamic system. COVID-19 fractional order model for the case of Wuhan, China, is offered foranalysis with simulations in order to determine the possible efficacy of Coronavirus disease transmission in theCommunity. For this reason, we employed the COVID-19 fractal fractional derivative model in the example ofWuhan, China, with the given beginning conditions. In conclusion, again the mathematical models with fractionaloperators can facilitate the improvement of decision-making for measures to be taken in the management of anepidemic situation.

Drone based terrorist attacks are increasing daily. It is not expected to be long before drones are used to carry out terror attacks in urban areas. We have developed the DUCK multiagent testbed that security agencies can use to simulate drone-based attacks by diverse actors and develop a combination of surveillance camera, drone, and cyber defenses against them. This paper presents the design, prototype implementation and validation of an intelligent, low-cost IoTbased system for the management of a shooting range that offers the capabilities of an official International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) championship layout. The system can be configured to include the most common or well-known targeting schemas, such as championship targeting system. The ARTEMIS system provides the option and allows the administrator to configure the layouts to support a number of shooting configurations, using a low-cost wireless system, significantly reducing the cost compared to existing approaches. The designed prototype combines the high-end capabilities of the official ISSF equipment, and the portability of a wireless solution. The design and development of the prototype is presented and the evaluation aims to demonstrate the portability of the system and its ability to enhance the overall shooting experience either for target practice or for recreational purposes.

With the prevalence of the Internet of Things(IoT)systems,smart cities comprise complex networks,including sensors,actuators,appliances,and cyber *** complexity and heterogeneity of smart cities have become vulnerable to sophisticated cyber-attacks,especially privacy-related attacks such as inference and data poisoning *** Learning(FL)has been regarded as a hopeful method to enable distributed learning with privacypreserved intelligence in IoT *** though the significance of developing privacy-preserving FL has drawn as a great research interest,the current research only concentrates on FL with independent identically distributed(i.i.d)data and few studies have addressed the non-i.i.d *** is known to be vulnerable to Generative Adversarial Network(GAN)attacks,where an adversary can presume to act as a contributor participating in the training process to acquire the private data of other *** paper proposes an innovative Privacy Protection-based Federated Deep Learning(PP-FDL)framework,which accomplishes data protection against privacy-related GAN attacks,along with high classification rates from non-i.i.d ***-FDL is designed to enable fog nodes to cooperate to train the FDL model in a way that ensures contributors have no access to the data of each other,where class probabilities are protected utilizing a private identifier generated for each *** PP-FDL framework is evaluated for image classification using simple convolutional networks which are trained using MNIST and CIFAR-10 *** empirical results have revealed that PF-DFL can achieve data protection and the framework outperforms the other three state-of-the-art models with 3%–8%as accuracy improvements.
