Nowadays, Authentication mechanism is widely applied to digital images. In this paper, we propose a self authentication mechanism with recovery ability for digital images, which is employed to protect the image during transmission over the internet. In the scheme, the image is to authenticate whether the area is modified by comparing the generated authentication code and hidden authentication code together. In our experimental result, we show the positive result for the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

Some regions of the environment are assumed to have a limited capacity in terms of the number of robots that can simultaneously occupy them, and a set of possible trajectories is available for each robot. computer programming learning is an important and challenging process for novice students. Previous approaches often address the learning problem of creating algorithm and familiarizing syntax. However, students still need the extra programming knowledge of selecting proper data structure to implement the program. In this paper, the scaffolding approach is used to assist students in comprehending the problem-solving strategy to find suitable data structure. In the experiment, 55 students participated in the two groups' pretest and posttest evaluation. The experimental results showed that the experimental group achieves higher learning achievement than the control group. The results suggest that computer-assisted scaffolding can be exploited as effective and motivational learning guidance for students.

The paper deals with control solutions for an electric drive system where the reference and the load disturbance are continuously variable and the plant has variable parameters. The main variable parameter of the process is the moment of inertia in the context of a system that corresponds to laboratory equipment. Using a detailed mathematical model of the process and the particular features of the drive system, the paper proposes variable control structures with switching between three or more control algorithms. This solution is preferred instead of a continuously parameter adaptation due to its simplicity in adaptation to the representative operating points. The control design results are focused on development of two-degree-of-freedom PID control solutions. The control solutions are applied in case studies based on digital simulation but, considering fixed values of the process parameters, they can be easily verified on laboratory equipment [1]. The proposed control solutions have a large applicability in the field of mechatronics systems, where such applications with variable moment of inertia and control system inputs are always present.

The paper presents a study on the behavior of some control solutions for electric drive systems evolving in conditions of reference, disturbance and parameter variability. The results of this study substantiate new control solutions that ensure the possibility to avoid the worst cases. The study addresses the real situation of an electric drive system with continuously variable reference input (speed), variable moment of inertia and variable load disturbance. Two control structures with controllers with fixed parameters are considered and discussed with focus on the speed control loop. The justified new control structures employ the switching between several control algorithms; their design is based on the detailed mathematical model of the plant and on the particular features of the drive system. The solutions are validated by means of digital simulations and experiments on a laboratory equipment application for three values of the moment of inertia.

This paper proposes an approach to the fuzzy modeling of servo systems using Simulated Annealing (SA) algorithms. A set of local state-space models is obtained from the first principle models of the process. The initial Takagi-Sugeno-Kang (TSK) fuzzy models are obtained by the modal equivalence principle, where the local state-space models are placed in the rule consequents. Optimization problems are defined aiming the minimization of objective functions expressed as integrals of squared modeling errors. The variables of the objective functions are the limits of the supports of the input membership functions and the kernels of these membership functions are kept constant. SA algorithms are implemented to solve the optimization problems which yield optimal TSK fuzzy models. A set of realtime experimental results for a laboratory nonlinear servo system validates the new optimal TSK fuzzy models.

This paper presents applicative aspects concerning the modeling, simulation, analysis and design of control solutions for a direct current electric drive system with continuously variable reference input (speed), variable moment of inertia and variable load disturbance. Two variable control structures for speed control are treated. The structures employ the switching between three or more control algorithms, and their design is based on the detailed mathematical model of the plant and on the particular features of the drive system. Conventional and fuzzy control solutions are offered as they are advantageous with respect to the continuous parameter adaptation because of the simplicity in adaptation at representative operating points. The solutions are validated by a digitally simulated application with fixed parameters and tested on a strip winding system laboratory equipment as a representative mechatronics system application.
