Degree reduction of ball Said-Ball (BSB) surface is a complex and unsolved problem in computer-aided design (CAD) and computer graphics (CG), which has potential application prospects in many engineering fields of geometric modeling. In this paper, the degree reduction of BSB surface is transformed into the optimization problems of center surface and radius function, and the improved coot optimization algorithm is used to solve it. An effective method to solve the degree reduction of BSB surface by intelligent optimization algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the degree reduction of BSB surface is decomposed into center surface reduction and radius function reduction, and the objective function and constraint conditions are determined according to the optimization idea, then the degree reduction optimization model of center surface and radius function is established. Secondly, an enhanced coot (ECOOT for short) algorithm is proposed, which combines chain strategy, dispersed foraging strategy, and quadratic interpolation strategy. Compared with the original algorithm, ECOOT algorithm has better convergence performance and higher calculation accuracy. Finally, the proposed ECOOT algorithm is used to solve the degree reduction optimization model, and the optimal center surface and minimum distance radius function of the BSB surface after degree reduction are obtained. The experimental results show that the ECOOT algorithm can effectively solve the problem of degree reduction for BSB surface, the degree reduction error is reduced by about 20% compared to the original COOT algorithm, and is superior to other intelligent optimization algorithms in accuracy, robustness, and convergence. © 2023 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

With the unprecedented prevalence of Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)and 5G technology,various applications supported by industrial communication systems have generated exponentially increased processing tasks,which makes task assignment inefficient due to insufficient *** this paper,an Intelligent and Trustworthy task assignment method based on Trust and Social relations(ITTS)is proposed for scenarios with many tasks and few ***,ITTS first makes initial assignments based on trust and social influences,thereby transforming the complex large-scale industrial task assignment of the platform into the small-scale task assignment for each ***,an intelligent Q-decision mechanism based on workers'social relation is proposed,which adopts the first-exploration-then-utilization principle to allocate *** when a worker cannot cope with the assigned tasks,it initiates dynamic worker recruitment,thus effectively solving the worker shortage problem as well as the cold start *** importantly,we consider trust and security issues,and evaluate the trust and social circles of workers by accumulating task feedback,to provide the platform a reference for worker recruitment,thereby creating a high-quality worker ***,extensive simulations demonstrate ITTS outperforms two benchmark methods by increasing task completion rates by 56.49%-61.53%and profit by 42.34%-47.19%.

Nowadays, health issues play a tremendous role in day-to-day life and the medical expenditure to get treatment becomes more difficult for the ordinary people. Health insurance has become a vital aspect of people's lives. In this massive community, to access healthcare services such as insurance policies, LIC, ICICI, HDFC ERGO, Star Healthcare are benefits for claiming an amount for their medical expenses. The dataset encompasses three categories, such as generalized data, hospitalized data and claim data. Each record in the dataset represents an individual’s health insurance charges along with corresponding demographic and health-related characteristics. In this paper, Machine Learning techniques are used to group the claim amount that has been adopted by the individuals based on the hospitalized expenditure and insurance charges paid by the individuals. In the health sector, machine learning techniques are used to forecast insurance claims by building predictive models from historical data on claims, patient demographics, treatment types, and results. By predicting future claims based on trends seen in the data, these models help insurance firms better manage risk and allocate resources. In case of a fresher to this concept, it feels challenging to understand whereas generating as a pattern can be more flexible to acquire knowledge about how much amount has been claimed. © 2025 IEEE.

Epileptic seizures, a prevalent neurological condition, necessitate precise and prompt identification for optimal care. Nevertheless, the intricate characteristics of electroencephalography (EEG) signals, noise, and the want for real-time analysis require enhancement in the creation of dependable detection approaches. Despite advances in machine learning and deep learning, capturing the intricate spatial and temporal patterns in EEG data remains challenging. This study introduced a novel deep learning framework combining a convolutional neural network (CNN), bidirectional gated recurrent unit (BiGRU), and convolutional block attention module (CBAM). The CNN extracts spatial features, the BiGRU captures long-term temporal dependencies, and the CBAM emphasizes critical spatial and temporal regions, creating a hybrid architecture optimized for EEG pattern recognition. Evaluation of a public EEG dataset revealed superior performance compared to existing methods. The model achieved 99.00% accuracy in binary classification, 96.20% in three-class tasks, 92.00% in four-class scenarios, and 89.00% in five-class classification. High sensitivity (89.00–99.00%) and specificity (89.63–99.00%) across all tasks highlighted the model’s robust ability to identify diverse EEG patterns. This approach supports healthcare professionals in diagnosing epileptic seizures accurately and promptly, improving patient outcomes and quality of life. © 2025 American Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Emotion recognition is vital in the human computer interaction because it improves interaction. Therefore, this paper proposes an improved method for emotion recognition regarding the Hybrid Autoencoder-Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) model and the newly developed hybrid approach of the Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) and Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA) for hyperparameters tuning. In this case, Autoencoder can reduce input data dimensionality for input data and find the features relevant for the model’s work. In addition, LSTM is able to work with temporal structures of sequential inputs like speech and videos. The contribution of this research lies in the novel combination method of ACO-WOA which aims at tweaking hyperparameters of Autoencoder-LSTM model. Global aspect of ACO and WOA thereby improve the search efficiency and the accuracy of the proposed emotion recognition system and its generalization capacity. In context with the benchmark dataset for the experimentations of emotion recognition, it has established the efficiency of the proposed model in terms of the conventional methods. Recall rates in recognitive intended various emotions and different modalities were also higher in the hybrid Autoencoder-LSTM model. The optimization algorithms like the ACO-WOA also supported in reducing the computational cost which arose due to hyperparameters tuning. The implementation of this paper is done through Python Software. This implementation shows a high accuracy of 94.12% and 95.94% for audio datasets and image datasets respectively when compared with other deep learning models of Conv LSTM and VGG16. Therefore, the research shows that the presented hybrid approach can be a useful solution for successfully employing emotion recognition for enhancing the creation of the empathetic AI systems and for improving user interactions within various fields including healthcare, entertainment, and customer support. © (2025), (Science and Information Organization). Air pollution is the contamination of the indoor or outdoor environment by any chemical, physical, or biological agent that modifies the natural characteristics of the atmosphere. Burning gasoline and diesel fuel creates harmful byproducts like nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, benzene, and formaldehyde. This study proposes a sensor-based model to control vehicular pollution by monitoring emission levels and preventing vehicles from operating if their pollution exceeds government standards. The proposed model consists of a smoke sensor, particulate sensors, carbon monoxide sensors, along with Arduino based microcontroller, data logger, LCD display, and GPRS modem. Using the block diagram, a mathematical model has been developed and some differential equations by using Markov process have been generated. This Markov-based model gives the information about the failure causes and working of the proposed system. Some reliability matrices like availability, mean time between failure (MTBF), and sensitivity analysis have been evaluated with the help of Laplace transform and illustrated with the help of graphs. Also, the failure cases of the system and its cost analysis have been done along with all the numerical calculations required for the successful operation of the model. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Secure data aggregation and effective data transmission are necessary to enhance sensor network durability and performance. Secure data collection from the duty-cycled sensor nodes using a moving sink and evenly distributing the energy usage over the network is a promising solution. This work offers a dynamic path management technique to present a unique hybrid solution for energy efficiency and secure data aggregation. The goal is to minimize energy use and extend the network lifetime without compromising security. By utilizing sink mobility to dynamically optimize data collection paths, our proposed approach lowers the consumption of energy and enhances data integrity. The duty cycling mechanism is integrated to ensure the conservation of energy and optimal operation of sensor nodes extending network connectivity. The privacy, consistency of the aggregated data are guaranteed and the security of data transfer is reinforced by a lightweight encryption technique. It has been observed from the results that the proposed scheme decreases energy consumption, route construction cost, prolongs the lifespan of the network and transmits data in an encrypted form. For moving sink-based duty-cycled sensor networks, this article offers a thorough solution to the challenges related to secure data aggregation, dynamic routing, and energy efficiency. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

Kidney disease (KD) is a gradually increasing global health concern. It is a chronic illness linked to higher rates of morbidity and mortality, a higher risk of cardiovascular disease and numerous other illnesses, and expensive medical expenses. The machine learning (ML) models are applied for KD prediction with higher accuracy and precision. The KD dataset has uncertainty and vague information, so, we used the neutrosophic set (NS) to deal with vague and uncertainty information in the KD dataset. The KD dataset is converted into the N-KD dataset with three membership functions: truth, indeterminacy, and falsity. Three ML models are used in this study such as logistic regression (LR), support vector machine (SVM), and k-nearest neighbor (KNN). These ML models are applied to the N-KD dataset. The results show the LR has higher accuracy and precision on the N-KD dataset than the original KD dataset. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

The inclusion-exclusion principle together with Legendre type theorems for number of distinct restricted partitions weighted by the parity of their length are used to give several recurrence relations for restricted partition numbers as well as for overpartition numbers. In the case of overpartitions, POD partitions and 3-color partitions, we give combinatorial proofs for the Legendre type theorems and arrive to combinatorial proofs for the recurrence relations. © 2025, Politechnica University of Bucharest. Clinical auxiliary decision-making is related to life and health of patients, so the deep model needs to extract the personalised representation of patients to ensure high analysis and prediction accuracy;and provide a basis for prediction conclusions. In this context, a clinical deep model proposed an interpretable assessment method of patient health status based on contextual learning of medical features, encoding the time-series features of each variable separately, and using a multi-head de-coordination self-attention mechanism for learning Relationships between different features;feature skip-connection encoding based on a compressed excitation mechanism is proposed to improve the sensitivity of the model. © 2024 Informa UK Limited, trading as Taylor & Francis Group.
