With the advancement of agriculture technology and the use of machine learning in diagnosis plant disease, it becomes more effective to research in plant health agriculture development. This paper talks about how deep learning and convolutional neural networks can help identify potato diseases. It looks at some research that used these methods to accurately recognize and group potato diseases. It also covers topics like weakly supervised learning, spectral imaging, and combining CNN and RNN for potato disease detection. It shows how transfer learning and hyperspectral imaging can improve how well deep learning models diagnose potato diseases. It compares different methods like k-means, multiclass SVM, deep belief networks, and convolutional ne-ural networks to see how good deep learning models are. It suggests that deep learning can find and group different types of potato diseases and proposes a deep learning model that can automatically diagnose crop diseases and pests on potatoes. It ends by saying deep learning can provide reliable and early warning systems for farmers and improve farming practices. © 2024 IEEE.

Exploring the Evolution of Social Media in Mental Health Interventions: A Mapping Review

BACKGROUND: With the rise of social media, social media use for delivering mental health interventions has become increasingly popular. However, there is no comprehensive overview available on how this field developed over time. OBJECTIVES: The objective of this paper is to provide an overview over time of the use of social media for delivering mental health interventions. Specifically, we examine which mental health conditions and target groups have been targeted, and which social media channels or tools have been used since this topic first appeared in research. METHODS: To provide an overview of the use of social media for mental health interventions, we conducted a search for studies in four databases (PubMed;ACM Digital Library;PsycInfo;and CINAHL) and two trial registries (***;and ***). A sample of representative keywords related to mental health and social media was used for that search. Automatic text analysis methods (e.g., BERTopic analysis, word clouds) were applied to identify topics, and to extract target groups and types of social media. RESULTS: A total of 458 studies were included in this review (n=228 articles, and n=230 registries). Anxiety and depression were the most frequently mentioned conditions in titles of both articles and registries. BERTopic analysis identified depression and anxiety as the main topics, as well as several addictions (including gambling, alcohol, and smoking). Mental health and women's research were highlighted as the main targeted topics of these studies. The most frequently targeted groups were "adults" (39.5%) and "parents" (33.4%). Facebook, WhatsApp, messenger platforms in general, Instagram, and forums were the most frequently mentioned tools in these interventions. CONCLUSIONS: We learned that research interest in social media-based interventions in mental health is increasing, particularly in the last two years. In the last decades, time series classification (TSC) has emerged as one of the most challenging issues in data mining, and extensive studies have been done on various methods, including algorithm-based and learning-based techniques. Sensor-based human activity recognition (HAR) is a TSC issue that has become one of the most sought-after fields among business and academia specialists because of the proliferation of smartphone technology and wearable movement sensors. Conventional approaches to feature extraction provide a significant challenge in feature selection. Deep learning is an efficient strategy in the HAR scientific field and has solved the issue of feature selection. Nevertheless, several obstacles remain to study topics, including classifier interpretation. This article integrates well-known deep learning methods, namely convolutional neural networks and RNN-based models. The new approach proved to be more effective than the existing state-of-the-art approach. We assessed our network on the multivariant time-series benchmark (UCI-HAR) and revealed that our model surpasses other models in terms of training time and overall accuracy. © 2022 IEEE.

Classical network coding uses encoding of information over networks to achieve secure and high throughput communication with low latency. Its quantum analog, namely Quantum Network Coding (QNC) is a promising protocol to achieve quantum communication over quantum networks. In this paper, we propose a method for establishing QNC in Measurement-Based Quantum Computing (MBQC), which is a universal quantum computational model. We demonstrate that the problem of multiple unicast or multiple multicast of distinct computational basis states over a quantum network can be solved by simulating existing classical networks, with the CNOT implementation in MBQC as a basis for transmitting and encoding of states. We also show how it can be further extended to simultaneously distribute the Bell pairs and Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger (GHZ) states required for quantum communication between distant transmitter and corresponding receiver nodes of a network. © 2023 IEEE.

Network of computers and associated equipment that spans the globe is commonly known as cyberspace. Countries have grown more dependent on this interconnected system, which has permeated almost every aspect of daily life. Social media has emerged as a key factor in cybercrime, alongside other activities such as online shopping and banking. In today's world, cyber-attacks can have significant strategic consequences by giving attackers control of networks and access to sensitive information. The recent incidents involving the Iranian and Indian nuclear infrastructure serve as prominent examples of such dangers. Various sectors such as banks, hospitals, and government websites have all been targets of cyber-attacks, resulting in identity theft and hacking. To combat this growing problem, it is essential to make dedicated efforts to address the cyber threat in an appropriate manner. It is crucial to identify the most recent cyber threats and explore the best possible means of dealing with them, which is the need of the hour. This paper provides a comprehensive discussion of cybercrime and its various forms in Pakistan, along with its outcomes. Additionally, it covers the Prevention of Electronic Act - 2016, a much- needed legislation in a society where information technology has become an integral aspect of daily life. The study also highlights the exploitation of this act and the loopholes in the existing infrastructure. Furthermore, the paper includes an analysis of the effectiveness of measures required to mitigate the latest cyber threats and explains the measures implemented, as well as additional countermeasures needed to combat this threat. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we provide a general formula concerning the weak and proper approximate subdifferentials of the difference of two vector convex mappings (DC) in terms of the star difference. This formula is applied to establish necessary and sufficient approximate optimality conditions, characterizing weakly and properly approximate efficient solutions for a constrained DC programming problem and a constrained multiobjective fractional programming problem. © 2025 Journal of applied and Numerical Optimization.

The determination of weights is a critical step in Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) processes, and subjective methods play a significant role in this area. This paper provides a comprehensive review of subjective weight determination methodologies, focusing primarily on sources from the Scopus database. Through a systematic literature review, this study analyzes 33,434 publications related to subjective weight determination, providing insights into the trends, advancements, and applications of these methodologies. The review underscores the importance of expert knowledge in contemporary decision-making and suggests potential areas for future research, including the integration of subjective methods with emerging technologies and the development of more robust and consistent weighting frameworks. White-box simulation of flexible cold storage operation as a part of heat, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems of small- and medium-size datacenters is an important, but underinvestigated topic. In this work, an experimentally validated model of the phase-change material (PCM) cold storage and a Modelica system model of the data center are presented. The aim is provide a simulation tool that can be used by data centers and HVAC manufacturers to estimate the benefit of using sustainable technologies when designing innovative cooling solutions. © 2023 *** rights reserved.

Self-driving vehicles have the potential to reduce accidents and fatalities on the road. Many production vehicles already come equipped with basic self-driving capabilities, but have trouble following lanes in adverse lighting and weather conditions. Therefore, we develop, analyze, and evaluate two vehicular lane-keeping algorithms under dynamic weather conditions using a combined deep learning- and hand-crafted approach and an end-to-end deep learning approach. We use image segmentation- and linear-regression based deep learning to drive the vehicle toward the center of the lane, measuring the amount of laps completed, average speed, and average steering error per lap. Our hybrid model completes more laps than our end-to-end deep learning model. In the future, we are interested in combining our algorithms to form one cohesive approach to lane-following. © 2024, CC BY.

As civilization advances, decision-making problems become increasingly complex, posing significant challenges in deriving optimal solutions. The field of multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) has evolved to address these complexities;however, single-solution approaches are often inadequate in multi-decision-maker scenarios, necessitating group decision-making methods. This study proposes an alternative compromise solution for evaluating electric car performance, examining various compromise approaches, including voting methods like Borda and Copeland counts, and more advanced techniques such as Iterative Compromise Ranking Analysis (ICRA), Improved Borda, HQ compromise, Dominance-directed graph, and Rank position methods. These methods were assessed using two ranking correlation coefficients to evaluate their effectiveness in multi-decision-maker scenarios. Results indicate that while minor differences in rankings were observed based on the chosen compromise method, these differences could influence decision-making outcomes. The analysis highlights the importance of selecting methods that align with specific needs and expectations. Future research should focus on simulation-based studies to better understand the characteristics of each method and apply these methods to real-world case studies to determine their suitability in various contexts. © 2024 The Authors.
