This paper proposes a scheme that adds XOR bit operations into the encoding and decoding process of conventional non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system. Because the conventional NOMA combines and sends multiple data within limited resources, it has a higher data rate than orthogonal multiple access (OMA) at the expense of error performance. However, using the proposed encoding and decoding scheme, both error performance and sum rate can be improved. In the proposed scheme, the transmitter sends the original data and the redundancy data in which the exclusive OR (XOR) values of the data are compressed using the superposition coding (SC) technique. After this process, the data rate of users decreases due to redundancy data, but since the original data is sent without power allocation, the data rate of user with poor channel conditions increases compared to the conventional NOMA. As a result, the error performance and sum rate of the proposed scheme are better than those of the conventional NOMA.

Quadcopter unmanned aerial vehicles have been increasingly popular in numerous real-world applications due to their efficiency and maneuverability. In order to ensure safe and stable operations, drone stabilization control requires quick responses from the controller. In this paper, an efficient fixed-time filter (EFTF) for backstepping attitude control of quadcopters is proposed. First, in order to avoid the feasibility conditions, state transformations are used to solve the full-state constraints problem. Second, EFTF is introduced to eliminate the complexity explosion of the backstepping approach as well as guarantee fixed-time stability. Then, the stability of the closed-loop attitude controller is proven by the Lyapunov theory. Finally, numerical simulations were conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm for convergent output errors around zero in a fixed time interval.

The current study involves the value-based conversion of waste floral foam into nanoporous activated carbon (NAC), which can be employed as a bifunctional material as a CO2adsorbent and an electrode for supercapacitors. The waste floral foam is first subjected to acid pickling and then thermally activated at various temperatures (500–800 °C) under a N2atmosphere. The resultant optimum sample, NAC700, has a high surface area of 732 m2/g, an abundance of narrow micropores (≤0.8 nm), and rich surface oxygen functionality. Owing to its array of synergistic attributes, the optimum sample NAC700 exhibits an excellent CO2capture capacity of 3.22 mmol/g at 15 °C and 1 bar. Simultaneously, NAC700 also delivers a good specific capacitance of 116 F/g at 5 mV/s and 187 F/g at 0.2 A/g, as calculated from CV and GCD data, respectively, in 1 M KOH. The strategy proposed here offers a facile pore manipulation technique for fabricating nanoporous activated carbon with substantial potential for CO2capture and energy storage applications while neutralizing waste floral foam.

Since reconfigurable intelligent surface(RIS) enhances the spectral efficiency of wireless communication system, it is a promising technology in the future communication. However, if there are a lot of obstacles, single RIS cannot guarantee performance and double RIS experiences fading three times. So, this paper suggests double RIS assisted communication system with amplifier. Suggested RIS system is compared with conventional RIS system in terms of bit error rate and sumrate. Simulation result shows that the performance of suggested RIS system outperforms single RIS system by 4.7% and double RIS system without amplifier by 12.6%, in terms of sumrate.
