In recent years, an increasing number of telecom frauds have caused huge losses to people around the world. Graph neural network(GNN) brings new possibilities for telecom fraud detection. However, due to the existence of the imbalance problem in the graph, it is difficult for general GNN models to detect a small number of positive samples. To address this problem, we design a new GNN-based fraud detector. First, we transform the node features with a multilayer perceptron. Subsequently, a reinforcement learning-based neighbor sampling strategy is designed to balance different classes of node neighbors. Then the node features are aggregated using GNN, while the focal loss function is used to measure the model error. We conducted experiments on two real-world telecom fraud datasets, and the results show that the proposed method does have competitive performance, especially for the graph imbalance problem.

Cooperative co-evolution (CC) is a promising direction in solving large-scale multiobjective optimization problems (LMOPs). However, most existing methods of grouping decision variables face some difficulties when searching in the huge search space. Specifically, the methods of grouping decision variables can be classified into two types, i.e., high-consumption grouping methods and non-consumption grouping methods. On the one hand, the former ones divide the decision variables into different groups based on the correlation analysis between variables, which consume much evaluation. This way may lead to premature convergence within limited computational resources. On the other hand, the later ones allocate the decision variables into sub-groups based on some metrics, e.g., order and size, which consume no evaluation while may cause the search fall into local optima. To alleviate the above issues, this paper proposes a CC-based algorithm with a variable-importance grouping (VIG) method, called VICCA. Firstly, the decision variables are classified into several subgroups according to their importance quantified by a meta-gene construction method. Secondly, a CC strategy is designed to simultaneously optimize all subgroups of decision variables formed by VIG using the differential evolution operator, which aims to accelerate the convergence speed. Thirdly, a global evolutionary strategy is proposed to optimize original decision variable space by the competitive swarm optimizer, aiming to maintain the diversity. Finally, the experiments demonstrate that our proposed VICCA has the significant advantage in solving LMOPs when compared with state-of-the-art evolutionary algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

Dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (DSSE) enables users to delegate the keyword search over dynamically updated encrypted databases to an honest-but-curious server without losing keyword privacy. This paper studies a new and practical security risk to DSSE, namely, secret key compromise (e.g., a user’s secret key is leaked or stolen), which threatens all the security guarantees offered by existing DSSE schemes. To address this open problem, we introduce the notion of searchable encryption with key-update (SEKU) that provides users with the option of non-interactive key updates. We further define the notion of post-compromise secure with respect to leakage functions to study whether DSSE schemes can still provide data security after the client’s secret key is compromised. We demonstrate that post-compromise security is achievable with a proposed protocol called "Bamboo". Interestingly, the leakage functions of Bamboo satisfy the requirements for both forward and backward security. We conduct a performance evaluation of Bamboo using a real-world dataset and compare its runtime efficiency with the existing forward-and-backward secure DSSE schemes. User access control is one of the core parts in the developing Internet field. However, in home network service platform and Web service platform, there is no concrete research yet. The OSGi provides a service platform which ensures the interoperability between heterogeneous technologies and various devices in home network environment. Nowadays, user access control is one of the core parts which should be cleared, but there are no concrete researches yet. So in this paper, we propose a supplemented authorization policy management framework based on RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) for user access control at home network environment in which the OSGi service platform is operated. The proposed access control framework improves effectiveness, assures privacy and provides convenience at the same time. In conclusion, we provide the base to implement the effective, safe, and convenient the OSGi service platform by proposing the new framework in authorization and user administration part.

In this work we investigate the problem of detection and location of single and unlinked multiple pattern sensitive faults in bit oriented RAMs and implementation of a built-in self-test (BIST) unit to test RAM chips in an efficient manner. Our fault model covers cross-talks between any k cells in RAMS. We have reduced the problem of memory testing to the problem of the generation of exhaustive back grounds. Exhaustive tests for detecting coupling faults for k up to 6 (which covers Type I neighborhood) and near exhaustive tests for k up to 9 (which covers Type II neighborhood) are constructed. The systematic nature of the tests constructed enables us to use BIST schemes, for RAMs, with low hardware over heads. We implemented the BIST units for a bit-oriented memory of size IM and calculated the hardware overhead in terms of transistors and area.

A potential interconnection network named fully connected cubic network (FCCN) that demonstrates many attractive properties including efficient communication, regularity and small diameter has been proposed by Chang and Wang [Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing, 61 (2001) 838-849]. In this paper, we propose a distributed broadcasting algorithm for FCCN(n). The height of the broadcasting tree is less than or equal to the diameter of FCCN(n). It is very simple and easy to be implemented. In fact, it requires only extra two integers included in the message; and as a node receives the message, it costs constant time to decide the neighbors to broadcast in a asynchronous environment.

As a promising technique, cooperative relaying has attracted more and more attention from academia and industry recently. In this paper, we investigate the scheme of Decode-and-Forward Two-way Relaying (DF-TWR) relying on a cross-layer design, which combines adaptive Network-coded Modulation (NCM) at the physical layer and truncated Automatic Repeat reQuest (ARQ) at the data link layer. The relay node utilizes Network-Coded Quadrature amplitude modulation (NC-QAM) where NCM imposes only a modest signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) degradation on the single-link QAM performance. Additionally, we derive the achievable spectral efficiency in closed-form for transmission over Rayleigh fading channels. It is shown that this combination of adaptive NC-QAM and truncated ARQ substantially improves the system's throughput compared to the schemes operating without ARQ.

This paper proposes a new broadband saturated power amplifier (SPA) with a distributed second harmonic termination supporting multi-band/multi-mode operation. The proposed network is composed of a fundamental matching circuit and multiple second harmonic termination circuits. Due to the multiple harmonic terminations, the proposed PA improves the frequency range where the PA can achieve a high efficiency. The proposed PA is fabricated using a 45 W Cree CGH40045 GaN HEMT. Drain efficiencies of greater than 60% (average 66%) are achieved between about 1.8 GHz and 2.3 GHz (500 MHz bandwidth). When driven with long term evolution (LTE) and two carrier wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) signals at DCS1800, PCS1900, and WCDMA bands, the linearity specifications of the corresponding standards are satisfied using the digital predistortion linearization technique, and it attains an efficiency of greater than 30%.

This paper presents a power-efficient parallel cache coherence protocol for network-on-chip interconnection fabric on many core chips. With the increasing numbers of processor cores, a directory-based cache coherence protocol is more scalable and expected to be used for the future chip architectures. However, the characterization of directory-based protocol on a NoC platform shows that many cycles are used to perform command communications to ensure the data consistency before a data packet is transmitted or processed, which restricts the performance. In this paper, a parallel cache coherence protocol is designed to address the problem, which decouples the transmission of the data packets and command packets. Specifically, the parallel mechanism also provides an opportunity to reduce power consumption by using power-optimized wires. A formal speedup model has been established to estimate the performance of this approach. Simulation experiments show significant performance improvement and good system scalability: (1) the average latency reductions are 4.38%, 5.35%, 8.53% and 11.25% for 16, 32, 64, and 128-cores, respectively, (2) the numbers of the L2 cache accesses are greatly reduced, (3) the proposed protocol improves the system performance with up to 18.6%, and (4) the average power savings are 5.66%, 8.14%, 10.73%, and 13.23% for 16, 32, 64 and 128-cores, respectively.
