Industrial Internet of NanoThings (IIoNT) traffic model proposed. The model is based on the developed algorithm for Dynamic Data Composition Control. The application of the algorithm made it possible to reduce the total amount of transmitted information from the end nodes of IIoNT. The model made it possible to determine the parameters of aggregation traffic of IIoNT cluster gateway. With the calculated parameters, the value of the aggregated package is maximized. The main limitation is not exceeding the value of the boundary delay for the transmission of sensor readings. The model also allows you to dynamically determine the required amount of the gateway buffer memory. © 2023 IEEE.

Ubiquitous computing and universal network connectivity have given rise to expectations of building a Digital Society, where many aspects of business and social activities may be accomplished by remote participants. Intelligent, context-aware, and workflow-centric collaboration is an essential prerequisite to fulfill that expectation. EkSarva is a framework, which enables realization of such collaborations in diverse domains. This is accomplished by identifying the key concepts and their inter-relationships (dubbed the PPP/SST paradigm), which form the foundation of this framework. The key concepts include: (a) Project, (b) Person, (c) Place, (d) Signal, (e) Situation, and (f) Transcript. This paper describes how these concepts collectively can give rise to an intelligent collaboration environment.

Chronic back pain can present a serious health concern, with symptoms that can significantly affect an individual's well-being, mobility, and overall quality of life over an extended period. While chronic back pain may manifest suddenly in some cases, it often develops gradually and persists for weeks, and in untreated cases, it can linger for years. Hence, the utilization of assistive devices such as wearable posture-monitoring vests can offer valuable assistance and guidance to users. This research paper is dedicated to the development of a system for detecting, diagnosing, and correcting poor posture, specifically leaning posture. The vest is designed to provide users with visual, auditory, and tactile cues to help them address this issue, thereby reducing the risk associated with leaning. Additionally, an integrated electrical box has been designed to consolidate all components directly onto the main board in a secure enclosure. This box also displays the daily count of instances where the user has leaned. This system is characterized by its electrical safety, portability, compactness, comfort, and affordability. A comprehensive analysis of the system's performance has been conducted with a meticulous evaluation of accuracy. Each component of the system has undergone successful testing, and the system as a whole is currently in the testing phase. The results of these tests have indicated a lack of faulty errors and have demonstrated outstanding accuracy and detection rates. Over 100 individuals of varying ages, genders, and BMI categories were involved in testing, with each person wearing the device for an average of six hours. The accuracy rate achieved was 98.85%, with an average of 54.35 instances of poor posture detected per participant. © 2023 IEEE.

Collaborative work, with the need to keep HTML/XML code up-to-date, is now becoming vital particularly in the Web Development field. In order to fully support collaborative work and resolve related problems the need has arisen for an optimum solution to the automated editing of a number of parallel copies originating from a single original HTML/XML code document with the additional requirement to subsequently merge the copies into a single updated document. A number of algorithms have been used in the past for the purpose, such as: Diff3, XmlDiff, DeltaXML & 3DM, but HTML/XML code complexity related issues have now called for an algorithm that is more specifically designed for the purpose. In this paper a new algorithmic approach to merging HTML/XML code documents is presented that is based on the "Three-way Merge" approach and the "Node-per-Node" comparison between ordered trees. For the creation of the actual merging function operating at the heart of the algorithm, a particular methodology was followed in which only the two "Current Versions" are required for the generation of the updated document, and no involvement of the "Original Document" is necessary. This is an important improvement over the currently existing algorithms because eliminates the well-known "Idempotent" problem in merging two HTML/XML documents. In addition, the algorithmic approach presented here allows for the identification and treatment of all the conflicts that arise during a HTML/XML code merging in an ordered and clearly specified manner. © 2020, Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Neurons use electricity in order to communicate to each other. Due to numerous signals sent by neurons, there are oodles of electrical activity in the brain. Sensitive equipment like electroencephalogram (EEG) biosensor perceives the brainwaves emanated from neurons. Beta waves are responsible for problem solving or decision making and associated with attention. Alpha waves are associated with now and meditation. Neurosky EEG biosensor perceives the brainwaves and transforms these brainwaves into attention and meditation values. In this study, Neurosky EEG biosensor is used for measuring the attention and meditation levels of students. A program is developed in C# medium. The developed program records raw brainwave data, attention and meditation average while the students are studying. As the attention and meditation levels are high, the students learn the subjects in the course. If predetermined meditation and attention level are not caught, the developed program does not give permission to pass to another subject. Because of that the students have less meditation and attention average than the predetermined value; they get fewer grades in the exam.

CONTEXT: Versioning allows users to efficiently create and evolve artifacts, not only but especially in the domain of model-driven engineering. Due to collaboration tools, the place and time where users jointly work at their artifacts do not play an important role anymore. Objective: We systematically elaborated a classification framework for collaboration and versioning tools. The intention is threefold: First, it should be possible to classify existing approaches. Second, deriving from user goals requirements to be met, and capabilities to be supported by a new tool. Third, given a set of capabilities, highlight which user goals can be achieved. Method: According to Kang and Lee, we systematically elaborated a problem space and a solution space and created mappings between both spaces and their sub-spaces. To demonstrate the applicability, we classified existing VCS like git, Google Docs, and several MDE-specific approaches. Results: The created feature diagram covers 238 features and contains about 87 constraints. Conclusion: The developed framework supports researchers and developers in classifying their tools, revealing new opportunities to improve their tools, and guiding the development of new tools.

Road accidents have been known to be one of the leading death causes around the world for a long time. Thus, cars and all kinds of road vehicles form a huge source of danger, and they relate to multiple high risks. There are many factors that can contribute to road traffic accidents such as the health condition of the driver if a medical emergency event happened while driving, drowsiness, or mind-wandering. The proposed system can monitor the behavior of the driver while driving as well as his/her health status. Moreover, it analyzes the monitored data, alerts the driver in a timely manner, and assists him/her in adjusting the driving behavior. Different dangerous and risky situations which can be faced during driving can be captured and avoided by using such a system which leads at the end to increase road traffic safety and reduce vehicle collisions. Notifications are developed in cases of drowsiness, loss of focus, or other concerns that may emerge while driving. However, when the driver's ability to operate the vehicle safely is hampered by a health concern, the implemented system is only able at this stage to alarm the driver itself and the surrounding cars as a first level of alarms.

This article discusses the problems of using groundwater resources of the Karakalpak artesian basin. Epilepsy is a neurological disorder associated with abnormal electrical activity in the brain, which causes seizures. The occurrence of seizure is not predictable; the duration between seizures, as well as the symptoms, varies from patient to another. Since the seizures are not predictable, and most of epileptic patients suffer from physical risky symptoms during the seizure, such patients are not able to perform daily work activities. The objective of this project is to design and implement a monitoring system for epileptic patients; the system should continuously check some vital signs, analyze the measurements, and decide whether the patient is nearly to have a seizure or not. Whenever a seizure is predicted, the system initiates an alarm. In addition, a notification should be sent to the health care responsible, as well as one preferred contact. By implementing the monitoring system, people who suffer from epilepsy will have more chance to work and live a normal life. Thus, this paper presents the concept of the overall system and shows results of the implemented systems: EEG, ECG and Fall Detection system. Results have shown that the fall detection accuracy reached 99.89% whereas the accuracy of the prediction using the ANN was about 97.34%.
