The report proposes a dynamic routing method for Self-healing Networks (ShN). The method takes into account the specific features of ShN. During routing, the flow of service information is reduced. The search for the optimal route is carried out using a convolutional neural network. The method significantly outperforms existing methods when some network nodes fail.

Liver is a vital organ of a body that has numerous functions. Severe malfunctioning of these functions causes a liver necrosis. The diagnosis of this necrosis is performed by a specialist who uses appropriate microscopic analysis. However, because this analysis is based on specialist's opinion, the results could be subjective and error prone. The aim of this study is to quantify the hepatic necrotic areas using computer aided algorithms and provide quantitative results that are not prone to errors.

Context: Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are increasingly self-adaptive, i.e. they have the ability to introspect and change their behavior. This self-adaptation process must be considered when modeling the safety and security aspects of the ***: This study collects and compares security attacks and safety hazards on self-adaptive systems (SAS) described in the literature. In addition, mitigation and treatment strategies as well as the modeling and analysis approaches are ***: We conducted a systematic literature review on 21 selected papers. The selection process involved a database search and snowballing methodologies. The coding scheme to analyze the content of the papers was obtained through our research questions, existing domain-specific taxonomies, and open ***: Safety and Security are not jointly modeled in the context of self-adaptive systems. The adaptation process is often not considered in the attack and hazard analysis due to naïve assumptions and modeling. The proposed approaches are mostly verified and validated through ***: A thorough and joint modeling approach for safety and security in self-adaptive systems is still an open challenge that needs to be addressed. Autonomous Systems (AS) enable systems to adapt to drastic and unprecedented environmental changes, a capability that can be enhanced through the utilization of Digital Twins (DTs). However, the additional capabilities of AS come at the cost of explainability, as the expanding adaptation space complicates the reasoning about the system's behavior. For certain types of systems, it is crucial to ensure that specific properties are upheld despite the system's autonomous behavior. To facilitate the monitoring of these properties, we propose the use of Runtime Verification (RV). This tutorial demonstrates the integration of RV tools into the Digital Twins as a Service (DTaaS) platform to monitor and verify the behavior of AS in real-time. By exploring various methods to incorporate RV tools within a DT context, the tutorial aims to advance the application of RV technologies in autonomic computing and self-adaptive system design. Specifically, we demonstrate how the behavior of a self-configuring DT can be verified utilizing RV. This is accomplished through the DTaaS platform, which supports seamless deployment of DT-based AS.

Development of the mobile robot can be executed in two different ways. Firstly, this creation of the built-in system, secondly, the use of "ready to use" industrial components. With distribution of the industrial mobile robots in the market there are more and more components which can be used for creation of all control system and sensors of the robot mobile platform. Use of the ready components doesn't demand the hardware development that accelerates time of development and reduces cost. The chassis of the Belarus-132 mini-tractor is used as a platform of robotic system in the research, "creation" of the program for traffic control is required. Results of the practical research on design and model development of a mobile robotic complex are given.

Microbial biofilm build-up in water distribution systems can pose a risk to human health and pipe material integrity. The impact is more devastating in space stations and to astronauts due to the isolation from necessary replacement parts and medical resources. As a result, there is a need for coatings to be implemented onto the inner region of the pipe to minimize the adherence and growth of biofilms. Lubricant-infused surfaces has been one such interesting material for anti-biofouling applications in which their slippery property promotes repellence to many liquids and thus prevents bacterial adherence. Textured and porous films are suitable substrate candidates to infuse and contain the lubricant. However, there is little investigation in utilizing a nanoporous thin film as the substrate material for lubricant infusion. A nanoporous film has high porosity within the structure which can promote greater lubricant infusion and retention. The implementation as a thin film structure aids to reduce material consumption and cost. In our study, we utilized a well-studied nanoporous thin film fabricated via layer-by-layer assembly of polycations and colloid silica and calcination for greater stability. The film was further functionalized to promote fluorinated groups upon the surface and pores of the film, which then could interact with a fluorinated lubricant. The pristine nanoporous film was characterized to determine its morphology, thickness, wettability, and porosity. The lubricant-infused film was then tested for its lubricant layer stability upon various washing conditions and its performance against bacterial biofilm adherence as a result of its slippery and thus anti-biofouling property. This paper introduces AbotalebNet, a novel deep learning architecture optimized for time series forecasting, with a particular focus on the complexities of COVID-19 data. In this paper, the performance of turbo coded signals are investigated over a new channel model, denoted as 1/spl plusmn/D/sup n//Partial Response Fading Channels (PRFC) with imperfect phase reference. The combined effects of the 1/spl plusmn/D/sup n//PRFC and nonideal coherent receiver on the phase of the received amplitude and of a noisy carrier reference are considered. The numerical results demonstrate the error performance degradation due to both amplitude fading and phase noise process.
