Imperfections in requirement specification can cause serious issues during software development life cycle. It might bring about inferior quality products due to missing attributes, for example, security. Specifically, Web Applications are considered as obvious target for getting significant information. Security aspects have gotten hard to manage in web applications because security requirements are not regularly seen appropriately and often details are missing which lead into ill-characterized security-related aspects. With the help of systemic literature review (SLR), we have identified 32 major research works which were published in period of year 2010 to 2020. We identified 38 security-related aspects of web applications and also 13 techniques and tools for security related aspects in agile requirement specification. We have also analyzed 22 challenges in reviewing security related aspects in agile development life cycle. © 2023 IEEE.

Community smells are sub-optimal developer community structures that hinder *** studies performed smell prediction and provided refactoring guidelines from a top-down aspect to help community ***,refactoring smells also requires bottom-up effort from every ***,supportive measures and guidelines for them are not available at a fine-grained *** recent work revealed developers'personalities and working states could influence community smells'emergence and variation,we build prediction models with experience,sentiment,and development process features of developers considering three smells including Organizational Silo,Lone Wolf,and Bottleneck,as well as two related classes including smelly developer and smelly *** predict the five classes in the individual granularity,and we also generate forecasts for the number of smelly developers in the community *** proposed models achieve F-measures ranging from 0.73 to 0.92 in individual-wide within-project,time-wise,and cross-project prediction,and mean R2 performance of 0.68 in community-wide Smelly Developer *** also exploit SHAP(SHapley Additive exPlanations)to assess feature importance to explain our *** conclusion,we suggest developers with heavy workload should foster more frequent communication in a straightforward and polite way to build healthier communities,and we recommend community shepherds to use the forecasting model for refactoring planning.

In this paper is presented implementation of a lightweight supervisory control and data acquisition system for remote test stations as a part of a larger test house in the automotive industry. It is necessary to allow remote set up and monitoring of the test stations, which means defining the structure of a system with numerous test stations as endpoints. The test stations are meant to be virtual machines but can be both virtual and physical machines. A communication protocol must be used that enables this within the organization's network, regardless of actual distance and location. The parameters of the test stations to be monitored can be defined according to the needs and purpose. Even when creating your own tool, this function is not unique, i.e. on one test station parameters of operating system resources such as memory usage can be monitored, while on another test station logged-in users or running programs, reported system errors and others must be monitored. Data storage is one of the mandatory functions of this system. This process allows viewing data throughout history and more detailed analysis of events. There are numerous benefits that can be drawn and used from the data stored in the database. It is necessary to pay attention to the data stored as well as the scope and retention throughout history. The correct and secure setup of a database is one of the prerequisites for any serious system that processes data. Appropriate views should be created for users involved in the data monitoring process using all the elements mentioned so far. Creating a visually acceptable and easy-To-use interface that serves the main purpose is the final presentation of the entire system to users. A complete system leads to higher productivity, profitability and better organization of the company. It also allows project managers to better plan the use and occupancy of test stations. School bus contributes positively to reducing the number of cars on the road, thereby reducing the environmental impact of cars. It also dramatically relieves working parents, who do not have to pick up and drop off their children separately in their private vehicles. However, the irregularity of the bus arrival times often leads to an extended waiting time for students at the bus stops, potentially compromising the students' safety. The communication barrier between schools, parents and bus drivers is also a significant challenge, mainly when a delay occurs during the transit of the students. This paper presents TOST (to-school-together), a school bus monitoring and management system for schools and parents. The school administrators, parents, and bus drivers are connected in one comprehensive school bus system. The proposed system provides realtime updates on the bus status, allowing peace of mind and easing the burden of parents, school administrators, and bus drivers. The design of TOST is based on feedback from the system stakeholders collected via a survey. We draw a complete understanding of the existing issues by analyzing the feedback. Finally, we have implemented the system using state-of-the-art technologies to address the identified issues and fulfil the system requirements. © 2023 IEEE.

The height of Infiltration line of tailings dam is a very important parameter for the safety of tailings reservoir. Infiltration line is the intersection line between the free water surface and the cross section of the dam body, that the free water surface is formed by the infiltration of water from the earth dam to the downstream. When the buried depth of the pressure sensors at each monitoring point could be obtained and the groundwater seepage pressure of the tailings dam could be measured too, the height of the free water surface can be calculated then. The commonly used pressure sensor is vibrating wire sensor. Among the many seepage pressure monitoring points, because of the lines, power supply or some other reasons, it often occurs that one or some points do not collect groundwater seepage pressure data for a period of time. For the missing data, BP neural network can be used to mend the missed data. Of course, the patched data should be marked to distinguish it from the real collected data. The mending method of missing seepage pressure data using BP neural network model is analyzed. The influence of anti-normalization parameters on mending data is analyzed. In the process of anti-normalization, the maximum and minimum values of the output data of the training data set are not put to use. Instead, a sequences is formed with the existing output data of some range before and after the mission data segment. The maximum and minimum values of the sequence are selected to use as the anti-normalization parameters. This will make the patched data values closer to the actual collected values. © 2022 IEEE.

Road safety is of prime importance as road accidents are among the biggest causes of deaths in the country. Road Accidents are majorly due to violators and lawbreakers of road safety rules like not wearing helmets, triple riding etc. Even though there are many smart systems to monitor these violations, it is complicated to keep a track of the data and view it efficiently anywhere. Also monitoring the permit details of other state vehicles is hard. A method was proposed to address this issue. based on Deep learning and Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Here we detect the riders not wearing helmet and triple riders using object detection by comparing YOLOv2 and YOLOv3. This simplifies the task of traffic police who can't continuously and efficiently monitor all the violators. We gathered our data from three different sources. Kaggle was used to collect the data set. A number of items can be recognized by the real-time object recognition system YOLO in a single frame. It recognizes object more precisely and faster than other recognition systems. It can predict up to 9000 classes and even unseen classes. It divides the image into m∗m matrix and each grid detects objects within itself. The trained model is tested using a test dataset set after training in order to measure the performance. For Number plate detection we use OCR based character recognition. The recognized license plate images of violators are captured and stored in a database which is then sent to the concerned department. The stored data can be easily accessed using the developed mobile app. Metrics considered for evaluation is Accuracy. The average is utilized to assess object detection models like R-CNN and YOLO. The average calculates a score by comparing the detected box to the ground-truth bounding box. The better the score, the more precise the model's detections are. When compared to YOLOv2, YOLOv3 exhibits strong performance in terms of accuracy with 95.5%. © 2023 IEEE.

Motorbike driving activity recognition plays a crucial role in various domains, including rider safety, vehicle diagnostics, and driver behavior analysis. Traditional methods for activity recognition often rely on dedicated sensors or on-board systems, which can be expensive, cumbersome, or limited in terms of availability. In recent years, the widespread use of smartphones with built-in motion sensors has opened up new possibilities for activity recognition in a more cost-effective and accessible manner. This paper presents a novel approach for motorbike driving activity recognition using smartphone motion sensors. Motorcyclist are inquired to take after a predefined way for recording accelerometer and gyroscope data. Twelve factual features are extricated to classify four driving events i.e., right turn, left turn, U-turn, and a straight path. Four machine learning classifiers i.e., Bayes Net, K-nearest neighbor, support vector machine, and random forest is utilized to classify motorbike driving events. The findings indicate that fusing of a gyroscope and accelerometer can significantly improve the detection of bike driving occurrences, achieving a noteworthy precision rate of 92.13%. © 2023 IEEE.

Context: There has been a growing research focus in conventional machine learning techniques for software effort estimation (SEE). However, there is a limited number of studies that seek to assess the performance of deep learning approaches in SEE. This is because the sizes of SEE datasets are relatively small. Purpose: This study seeks to define a threshold for small-sized datasets in SEE, and investigates the performance of selected conventional machine learning and deep learning models on small-sized datasets. Method: Plausible SEE datasets with their number of project instances and features are extracted from existing literature and ranked. Eubank’s optimal spacing theory is used to discretize the ranking of the project instances into three classes (small, medium and large). Five conventional machine learning models and two deep learning models are trained on each dataset classified as small-sized using the leave-one-out cross-validation. The mean absolute error is used to assess the prediction performance of each model. Result: Findings from the study contradicts existing knowledge by demonstrating that deep learning models provide improved prediction performance as compared to the conventional machine learning models on small-sized datasets. Conclusion: Deep learning can be adopted for SEE with the application of regularisation techniques. © 2023 Knowledge Systems Institute Graduate School. All rights reserved.

This paper measures the skew in how well two families of LLMs represent diverse geographic populations. A spatial probing task is used with geo-referenced corpora to measure the degree to which pre-trained language models from the opt and bloom series represent diverse populations around the world. Results show that these models perform much better for some populations than others. In particular, populations across the US and the UK are represented quite well while those in South and Southeast Asia are poorly represented. Analysis shows that both families of models largely share the same skew across populations. At the same time, this skew cannot be fully explained by sociolinguistic factors, economic factors, or geographic factors. The basic conclusion from this analysis is that pre-trained models do not equally represent the world's population: there is a strong skew towards specific geographic populations.
