In social networks, some private information, such as the personal name, age gender, the number of friends, can be obtained by others. This paper defines a combination degree-neighborhood label matching attack model based on group maps obtained from multi-social networks. Based on the heuristic combination degree attack model, the target combination degree and neighborhood labels are used as the background knowledge of the attacker to obtain the candidate vertices set. The singularity of the sensitive label matching results will expose the sensitive information of the vertex being attacked. In order to solve this privacy attack, this paper proposes a group graph sensitive label generalization L diversity algorithm. This algorithm reduces the probability of sensitive labels being identified by designing a group map sensitive label generalization tree. According to the background knowledge, the number of sensitive labels in the candidate set and the number of sensitive labels obtained by matching are not less than L, so as to protect the sensitive information of the attacked target. The algorithm was evaluated by using three sets of data with different ratios. The experiment results show that the privacy protection algorithm effectively prevents sensitive label privacy attacks consisting of combination degree-domain label matching and better maintains the availability of graph data.

Nonlinear multimode optical systems have attracted substantial attention due to their rich physical properties. Complex interplay between the nonlinear effects and mode couplings makes it difficult to understand the collective dynamics of photons. Recent studies show that such collective phenomena can be effectively described by a Rayleigh–Jeans thermodynamics theory which is a powerful tool for the study of nonlinear multimode photonic systems. These systems, in turn, offer a compelling platform for investigating fundamental issues in statistical physics, attributed to their tunability and the ability to access negative temperature regimes. However, to date, a theory for the nonequilibrium transport and fluctuations is yet to be established. Here, we employ the full counting statistics theory to study the nonequilibrium transport of particle and energy in nonlinear multimode photonic systems in both positive and negative temperature regimes. Furthermore, we discover that in situations involving two reservoirs of opposite temperatures and chemical potentials, an intriguing phenomenon known as the loop current effect can arise, wherein the current in the positive energy sector runs counter to that in the negative energy sector. In addition, we numerically confirm that the fluctuation theorem remains applicable in optical thermodynamics systems across all regimes, from positive temperature to negative ones. Our findings closely align with numerical simulations based on first-principles nonlinear wave equations. Our work seeks to deepen the understanding of irreversible non-equilibrium processes and statistical fluctuations in nonlinear many-body photonic systems which will enhance our grasp of collective phenomena of photons and foster a fruitful intersection between optics and statistical physics. © 2024, CC BY-NC-ND.

Textiles are essential to humans in a variety of ways, especially clothing. However, the speed at which they end up in landfills is astonishing (one garbage truck per second), posing a severe risk to the environment, if the trend continues. Governments and responsible organizations are starting to make calls to different stakeholders to redesign the textile chain from linear to circular economy. In this perspective, we highlight some of the possible approaches to be undertaken including the need for the creation of renewable raw materials sources, rethinking production, maximum use and reuse of textile products, reproduction, and recycling strategies, redistribution of textiles to new and parallel markets, and improvising means to extend the textiles lifetime.

Dynamic networks vary over time, making it vital to capture networks temporal patterns for predicting missing links with high accuracy. A biased non-negative latent factorization of tensors (BNLFT) model is very effective in extracting such patterns from dynamic data. However, a BNLFT model only integrates single bias, which cannot adequately represents the volatility of the dynamic data. To address this issue, this paper presents a Diverse Biases Non-negative Latent Factorization of Tensors (DBNT) model for accurate prediction of missing links in dynamic networks. Meanwhile, for further prediction accuracy improvement, the preprocessing bias is integrated into the DBNT model. Empirical studies on two dynamic networks datasets from real applications show that compared with state of the art predictors, a DBNT model achieves higher prediction accuracy. © 2020 IEEE.

Although rice cultivation is one of the most important agricultural sources of methane (CH4) and contributes ∼8% of total global anthropogenic emissions, large discrepancies remain among estimates of global CH4 emissions from rice cultivation (ranging from 18 to 115 Tg CH4 yr−1) due to a lack of observational constraints. The spatial distribution of paddy-rice emissions has been assessed at regional-to-global scales by bottom-up inventories and land surface models over coarse spatial resolution (e.g., > 0.5°) or spatial units (e.g., agro-ecological zones). However, high-resolution CH4 flux estimates capable of capturing the effects of local climate and management practices on emissions, as well as replicating in situ data, remain challenging to produce because of the scarcity of high-resolution maps of paddy-rice and insufficient understanding of CH4 predictors. Here, we combine paddy-rice methane-flux data from 23 global eddy covariance sites and MODIS remote sensing data with machine learning to 1) evaluate data-driven model performance and variable importance for predicting rice CH4 fluxes;and 2) produce gridded up-scaling estimates of rice CH4 emissions at 5000-m resolution across Monsoon Asia, where ∼87% of global rice area is cultivated and ∼ 90% of global rice production occurs. Our random-forest model achieved Nash-Sutcliffe Efficiency values of 0.59 and 0.69 for 8-day CH4 fluxes and site mean CH4 fluxes respectively, with land surface temperature, biomass and water-availability-related indices as the most important predictors. We estimate the average annual (winter fallow season excluded) paddy rice CH4 emissions throughout Monsoon Asia to be 20.6 ± 1.1 Tg yr−1 for 2001–2015, which is at the lower range of previous inventory-based estimates (20–32 CH4 Tg yr−1). Our estimates also suggest that CH4 emissions from paddy rice in this region have been declining from 2007 through 2015 following declines in both paddy-rice growing area and emission rates per unit

Vehicle Edge Computing (VEC) assists vehicles in performing latency-sensitive tasks by deploying resources near the vehicle. Designing an incentive mechanism for vehicles and VEC is crucial for realizing an intelligent transmission system. Considering the rationality of resource allocation, we model the utility functions of the VEC and the vehicle, which are used as optimization objectives. Specifically, the VEC allocates resources through pricing to maximize revenue under resource-constrained conditions, and the vehicle weighs payments against energy consumption to determine offloading and resource allocation. Given the vehicle movement and the variable channel state, we use the Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) algorithm to solve these optimization problems. To reduce the learning difficulty of the DRL algorithm in complex VEC scenarios with multiple optimization variables, we propose a Pricing-Driven Resource Allocation (PDRA) algorithm that performs mobility-aware task offloading and calculates the optimal values of the optimization variables in the utility function of the vehicle to reduce the decision dimension. Furthermore, we also propose a DRL-based Pricing-Driven Dynamic Resource Allocation (DPDDRA) algorithm to achieve efficient resource allocation. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed algorithms can reduce the learning difficulty while maximizing VEC and vehicle revenue in complex VEC scenarios. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Spin textures that are not readily available in the domain structures of continuous magnetic thin films can be stabilized when patterned to micro/nano scales due to the dominant effect of dipolar magnetic interactions. Fabrication of such devices enables a thorough study of their RF dynamics excited by highly concentrated spin-polarized/pure-spin currents. For this purpose, in this study, we have employed a truncated astroid geometry to achieve stable magnetic antivortex core nucleation/annihilation which was detectable using the anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR) at various temperatures. Furthermore, by depositing a soft magnetic thin film (20 nm thick permalloy) capped with a heavy-metal 2nm Pt layer, we were able to probe the spin orbit torque induced excitations accompanied by self-torque due to half-antivortex cores reminiscent of an isolated-antivortex, yielding GHz frequency oscillations with high quality factors (~50000). The observed RF oscillations can be attributed to a nonuniform domain wall oscillation mode close to the stable-antivortex core nucleation site as seen in micromagnetic simulations. This fundamental study of antivortex core response to spin currents is crucial for the assessment of their potential applications in high frequency spintronic devices such as reservoir computers. © 2025, CC BY-NC-ND.

Unsupervised multiview feature selection dependent on similar or clustering structures has dramatically progressed, but both ignore the mutually reinforcing relationship between structure learning. Firstly, the two methods of appeal ignore the possibility of shared joint learning, although they can learn coherent information. Secondly, they are inadequate for data structure learning and lack awareness of co-learning global and local structures. This paper proposes an unsupervised feature selection method (SCSF_FS) that integrates similarity and clustering structures learning to capture intrinsic information in data. Specifically, we use latent space learning to partition multiple data matrices into view-specific base matrices and clustering metrics. Structural learning is used to transform specific clustering metrics into coherent clustering structures. In addition, adaptive weights are used on each view’s similarity matrix to learn a consistent similarity structure, while laplacian graph learning is introduced to unify the similarity and clustering structures. Consequently, a unified framework is designed to unify multiview consistency learning, global structure, and local structure preservation. Moreover, an optimization iteration algorithm is designed to solve it. Comparison with eight algorithms shows the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Deterministic transformations of multilevel coherent states under incoherence-preserving operations

Quantum coherence, emerging from the’superposition’ of quantum states, is widely used in various information processing tasks. Recently, the resource theory of multilevel quantum coherence is attracting substantial attention. In this paper, we mainly study the deterministic transformations of resource pure states via free operations in the theoretical framework for multilevel coherence. We prove that any two multilevel coherent resource pure states can be interconverted with a nonzero probability via a completely positive and trace non-increasing k-coherence-preserving map. Meanwhile, we present the condition of the interconversions of two multilevel coherent resource pure states under k-coherence-preserving operations. In addition, we obtain that in the resource-theoretic framework of multilevel coherence, no resource state is isolated, that is, given a multilevel coherent pure state |ψi, there exists another multilevel coherent pure state |i and a k-coherence-preserving operation Λk, such that Λk(|i) = |ψi. Time-of-flight neutron imaging offers complementary attenuation contrast to X-ray computed tomography (CT), coupled with the ability to extract additional information from the variation in attenuation as a function of neutron energy (time of flight) at every point (voxel) in the image. In particular Bragg edge positions provide crystallographic information and therefore enable the identification of crystalline phases directly. Here we demonstrate Bragg edge tomography with high spatial and spectral resolution. We propose a new iterative tomographic reconstruction method with a tailored regularisation term to achieve high quality reconstruction from low-count data, where conventional filtered back-projection (FBP) fails. The regularisation acts in a separated mode for spatial and spectral dimensions and favours characteristic piece-wise constant and piecewise smooth behaviour in the respective dimensions. The proposed method is compared against FBP and a state-of-the-art regulariser for multi-channel tomography on a multi-material phantom. The proposed new regulariser which accommodates specific image properties outperforms both conventional and state-of-the-art methods and therefore facilitates Bragg edge fitting at the voxel level. The proposed method requires significantly shorter exposure to retrieve features of interest. This in turn facilitates more efficient usage of expensive neutron beamline time and enables the full utilisation of state-of-the-art high resolution detectors. © 2021, CC BY.
