Internet of Everything(IoE),the recent technological advancement,represents an interconnected network of people,processes,data,and *** recent times,IoE gained significant attention among entrepreneurs,individuals,and communities owing to its realization of intense values from the connected *** the other hand,the massive increase in data generation from IoE applications enables the transmission of big data,from contextawaremachines,into useful *** and privacy pose serious challenges in designing IoE environment which can be addressed by developing effective Intrusion Detection systems(IDS).In this background,the current study develops Intelligent Multiverse Optimization with Deep Learning Enabled Intrusion Detection system(IMVO-DLIDS)for IoT *** presented IMVO-DLIDS model focuses on identification and classification of intrusions in IoT *** proposed IMVO-DLIDS model follows a three-stage *** first,data pre-processing is performed to convert the actual data into useful *** addition,Chaotic Local Search Whale Optimization Algorithm-based Feature Selection(CLSWOA-FS)technique is employed to choose the optimal feature ***,MVO algorithm is exploited with Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit(BiGRU)model for ***,the novelty of the work is the application of MVO algorithm in fine-turning the hyperparameters involved in BiGRU *** experimental validation was conducted for the proposed IMVO-DLIDS model on benchmark datasets and the results were assessed under distinct *** extensive comparative study was conducted and the results confirmed the promising outcomes of IMVO-DLIDS approach compared to other approaches.

The number of electronic devices involved in cyber related crimes has increased significantly in the last few years. This is primarily due to advancements in technology and increased accessibility to devices. This poses significant challenges with respect to forensic investigations as investigators are faced with processing huge volumes of data from various sources within a limited time. Due to the urgency, frequency, and magnitude of some cases, investigators may miss deadlines, and crucial leads. In this paper, we consider these above stated challenges and propose a new definition for big data forensics, which recognises the time aspect and variety of sources when carrying our digital forensics. This definition will help digital forensic tool designers consider these critical aspects and design comprehensive tools to combat the limitations of the current state-of-the-art. We review an existing tool, the Forensic Cloud Environment (FCE), against the proposed definition. We show how its design leverages the power of Hadoop Distributed File system (HDFS), HBase, and MapReduce to provide a comprehensive solution for big data forensics. In conclusion, we provide an argument for FCE as a solution for resolving big data forensic challenges based on general Scientific Working Group on Digital Evidence (SWGDE) forensic principles. © 2022 IEEE.

This study proposes a novel nature-inspired meta-heuristic optimizer based on the Reptile Search Algorithm combed with Salp Swarm Algorithm for image segmentation using gray-scale multi-level thresholding,called *** proposed method introduces a better search space to find the optimal solution at each ***,we proposed RSA-SSA to avoid the searching problem in the same area and determine the optimal multi-level *** obtained solutions by the proposed method are represented using the image *** proposed RSA-SSA employed Otsu’s variance class function to get the best threshold values at each *** performance measure for the proposed method is valid by detecting fitness function,structural similarity index,peak signal-to-noise ratio,and Friedman ranking *** benchmark images of COVID-19 validate the performance of the proposed *** results showed that the proposed RSA-SSA outperformed other metaheuristics optimization algorithms published in the literature.

The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in 6G demonstrates a transformative leap in redefining network efficiency, intelligence, and adaptability. However, AI largely leverages discriminative models relying on labelled and quality data, where data accessibility remains serious concern. Generative AI (GenAI) has gained traction due to its immense potential in resolving the issue of data scarcity, complexity, and incompleteness. GenAI models excel in understanding underlying data distributions, enabling them to generate synthetic data that mirrors real-world patterns. GenAI supports adaptive learning and scenario modeling, making it indispensable for addressing the unpredictability and complexity inherent in 6G networks. Since the complexity of wireless communication systems is increasing and the demand for such systems is growing, GenAI presents new ideas for enhancing network performance, increasing system efficiency, and developing intelligent decision-making capabilities. This survey paper investigates the promising role of GenAI in the evolution of 6G networks. An in-depth discussion of notable GenAI models is presented, outlining their application in enhancing key network components. Specifically, the application of GenAI in advanced technologies including reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), digital twins (DTs), and integrated sensing and communications (ISACs) is thoroughly investigated with respect to optimize the adaptability, flexibility, and robustness of the wireless networks. Moreover, use cases of GenAI-enabled wireless networks are presented to highlight the realization of GenAI in 6G. The paper also presents the lessons learned, existing challenges, and future research directions. This paper systematically explores GenAI and its pivotal role in the development of 6G, providing a foundation for researchers to further investigate and advance GenAI-enabled 6G. © 2020 IEEE.

Speech Recognition focuses on developing advanced technologies that can recognize and translate spoken language into text. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that captures human voice from a mi-crophone and analyzes it based on spoken words to comprehend natural language. In Ethiopia, ASR models have been developed for specific local languages such as Amharic, Tigrigna, Wolaytta, and Afaan Oromo, but there has been a lack of research on ASR models for the Hadiyyisa language, which is also spoken in Ethiopia. The research study designed and developed an ASR model for the Hadiyyisa language. The researchers collected data from native speakers of the Hadiyyisa language and used Python programming to design and develop the deep learning model for the Hadiyissa ASR model. Different methods and techniques were used in the study to achieve the research objectives and complete the entire research process. The proposed model utilized deep learning algorithms including RNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and CNN, along with suitable feature extraction techniques such as Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). The accuracy of the proposed ASR model was evaluated through experimentation, which demonstrated that the BiLSTM model outperformed the other deep learning models with an overall accuracy of 90.95 % Based on the experimental evidence, the proposed model was found to be better suited for ASR for the Hadiyyisa language. © 2023 IEEE.

Environmental awareness has recently emerged as one of the most crucial topics. As a result, various groups advocate for these technologies and research ways to promote their usage in various contexts. This study examines the factors influencing the intention and use of green technology among academics. This study integrates Price Value (PV) and Consideration of future consequence (CFC) to Theory Planned Behavior (TPB) as a theoretical basis. Two hundred five valid replies were gathered and processed through statistical analysis. The results of this study partly support the developed hypotheses. Four hypotheses developed from TPB have presented significant relationships. However, PV and CFC were not. The findings indicate that individuals in this study did not consider CFC or PV of green IT products as critical factors in their decision-making process. Findings also suggest that for implementation success, competent parties must consider the campaign to increase individual awareness and provide financial support regarding environmental policy. © 2023 IEEE.

Object detection is a common technique nowadays and is utilised in many fields such as license plate detector, obstacle detector, and many others. However, most of the efforts are found to only focus on detecting objects of a certain class and are not suitable for the detection of diagrammatic contents. Object detection for diagrammatic contents has high demand at workplaces and educational institutions. It is different from other object detection as most diagrammatic contents are in grayscale or binary. Other than that, most object detector also only classifies the object to their class and is not capable of detecting their specific name. Hence, this work proposes a novel object detector based on region-based Convolutional Neural Network (R-CNN) for Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) object detection which will also give the relationship of the ERD as the result. The framework consists of three main processes starting by the input image being pre-processed and then object detection on the image is carried out. The result of the object detection is then pre-processed again to be passed to the name detection by optical character recognition (OCR) and then the OCR result is post-processed to obtain a more accurate outcome. The final output is expressed in the relationship of the entities and an image with the detection labelled. The evaluation measurement used is stratified cross-validation where the training-testing percentage is 80% training and 20% testing. The proposed object detector managed to obtain satisfactory average accuracy of 81.92% using a low-resolution image dataset to train.

The procedure for obtaining data on people affected by the COVID-19 disease is carried out through a manual data collection mechanism through health centers, government and private hospitals, health clinics spread throughout Indonesia, and rapid tests carried out at certain times and locations. Such a surveillance system requires time, a lot of health personnel, and is expensive. In addition, the geographical condition of the Indonesian state, which consists of many large and small islands and the vast territory of Indonesia requires another strategy to find out and make it easier to complete data on people affected by COVID-19, such as the use of information technology. The use of the Twitter dataset to detect the spread of disease in a region or country has been widely carried out by researchers. Sentence extraction is a process that must be done to facilitate the analysis of a short or very long news sentence to get the meaning and essence of the news contained in the sentence. The primary information can be identified based on keywords generated using extraction and abstraction techniques. The initial stage of the research focused on building a corpus of twitter data and a corpus of vocabulary. The first process that will be carried out is to collect natural language datasets from Indonesian-language Tweets on Twitter. Next, carry out the process of extracting incident sentence information with steps, namely making standard sentence formats, simplifying sentences, identifying essensial words, and determining input and target words in sentences. © 2022 Institute of Advanced Engineering and science (IAES).
