A Fuzzy Delphi Based Inference system for Detecting and Controlling Rice Weeds

In this research, the purpose was to design a fuzzy expert system based on fuzzy delphi method to detect and control the rice weed. The statistical population was elites and experts with regard to the science, experience and field of activity;15 experts were selected as the sample. Two questionnaires were used to design the desired fuzzy expert: i) Fuzzy Delphi Technique Weed Detection Questionnaire, ii) Delphi Technique Weed Control Questionnaire. The design of the desired expert system was done with MATLAB software and the fuzzy logic tool box. That is, after obtaining an appropriate range of factors, through attributing the fuzzy trapezoidal membership functions to these ranges and generating the input functions, designing the rule base of this system and combining the output results of each factor, a system was designed whose input was the weed factor and the output was scores assigned to weeds. MATLAB guide was also used to design the graphical user interface. Then, for validation the designed system was tested. The answers of system and individual expert were then analyzed using paired t-test. Root Mean Square Error and Middle Absolute Value Deviation tests were used to calculate the system errors. The results were 0.12 and 0.01, respectively. This indicates that the designed fuzzy expert system has sufficient accuracy. Finally, given that all but two of the examined rules are the same as the diagnosis of an individual expert, then in 94% of the cases, the diagnosis of the system is the same as the diagnosis of an individual expert. © 2021, CC BY.

Dynamic searchable symmetric encryption (DSSE) enables users to delegate the keyword search over dynamically updated encrypted databases to an honest-but-curious server without losing keyword privacy. This paper studies a new and practical security risk to DSSE, namely, secret key compromise (e.g., a user’s secret key is leaked or stolen), which threatens all the security guarantees offered by existing DSSE schemes. To address this open problem, we introduce the notion of searchable encryption with key-update (SEKU) that provides users with the option of non-interactive key updates. We further define the notion of post-compromise secure with respect to leakage functions to study whether DSSE schemes can still provide data security after the client’s secret key is compromised. We demonstrate that post-compromise security is achievable with a proposed protocol called "Bamboo". Interestingly, the leakage functions of Bamboo satisfy the requirements for both forward and backward security. We conduct a performance evaluation of Bamboo using a real-world dataset and compare its runtime efficiency with the existing forward-and-backward secure DSSE schemes. Halal food supply chains (HFSCs) are increasingly characterized by fragmentation, complexity, and uncertainty. Halal food consumers are becoming more demanding for food quality and compliance with Islamic dietary law. As sustainability is a multidimensional concept that entails several aspects and interpretations, the objectives of HFSCs significantly overlap with the sustainable dimensions of the food ecosystem. The purpose of this study is to examine the inherent sustainable aspects and characteristics of HFSCs. Therefore, a systematic literature review and a bibliometric analysis were conducted to redress the lack of academic attention being given to the relationships of HFSCs with sustainability. Selected 74 papers were coded and analyzed according to the dimensions of sustainability, namely, the economic, social, and environmental dimensions. The review primarily attempts to provide answers to the following research question: What are the sustainable aspects of HFSCs? We provide a comprehensive analysis of the three critical components of sustainability, offering a broad and comprehensive picture of many critical issues in HFSCs. Finally, the contribution of the study, the scope of future research, and the limitations are highlighted in detail. © 2021 Taylor & Francis.

An investigation area of interest including the use of blockchain technology to address Internet of Things security concerns (IoT). Despite the fact that numerous relevant ideas have been offered, there are few published works that provide hypothetical and information backing. The examination of model building and execution assessment is the focus of this research. First, an IoT security paradigm is outlined, using blockchain and the Inter-Planetary-File-system (IPFS) in a view. Many of the security risks associated with traditional IoT designs can be avoided with this paradigm, and framework execution is entirely focused on distributed large limit stockpiling, simultaneity, and query. In addition, the suggested model's display is evaluated using normal idleness and throughput, which are important for further investigation and enhancement of this course. The blockchain-based security model's feasibility has been demonstrated via analysis and experiments. © 2022 IEEE.

The categorization of odors utilizing gas sensor arrays with various meatball borax concentrations has been studied. The samples included meatballs with a borax content of 0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15%, 0.20%, and 0.25% (%mm) and meatballs without any borax. Six TGS gas sensors with a baseline of 10 seconds, a detecting period of 120 seconds, and a purging period of 250 seconds make up the gas sensor array used in this work. Artificial neural networks (ANNs) and principal component analysis (PCA), which are beneficial for feature extraction and classification, are used to handle the collected data based on machine learning approaches. Two models were produced by the data analysis: model 1, which only used the PCA approach, and model 2, which only used the ANN methodology. 90.33% is the total variance value of PC from model 1. In addition, the multilayer perceptron artificial neural network (ANN-MLP) technique for model 2 yielded accuracy values of 95%. © 2023 Anak Agung Surya Pradhana et al.

This study examines the mapping of research data on digital technology in the field of health education using bibliometric analysis method. Data was collected by identifying keywords in the Scopus database and sorting them out to sort the studies from the last 10 years (2012–2021). Through this step, a total of 1482 documents were obtained (articles, journals, proceedings, books, and others). The data is then processed using the VOSViewer instrument to obtain a visualization of the mapping analysis. This study also analyzes the network types of authors and co-authors through the VOSViewer instrument. The result of this study indicates that the most document types published within ten years are Articles (66.5%), Review (22.9 % ), Conference Paper (4.2 % ), and others. The most studied subjects are Medicine (55.7%), Nursing (9.0%), Health Professions (8.2%), Social sciences (7.8%), Engineering (3.9%), computer science (2.6 % ), Environmental science (2.6 % ), Biochemistry-Genetics and Molecular Biology (2.2%), Psychology (1.6%), and Dentistry (1.3%). This study offers a written communication process and the nature and direction of developing descriptive means of counting and analyzing the various phases of communication as well as recognizing the authorship and direction of its symptoms in documents on the subject of digital technology in the health sector.

IoT enabled modulated residential surveillance system using Fuzzy logic

Nowadays, surveillance systems are more important to monitor the activities of persons, animals and others. Usually, these kinds of surveillance systems are required in factories, institutions, banks and other public sector units. But in the modern lifestyle, everyone uses such kind of surveillance approach to safeguard their residence. Therefore Surveillance logics accommodated with many features provides the clients with some security alert techniques such as Remote Monitoring, Instant Alert Mechanisms, Sound Enabling, Artificial Intelligence etc. In addition to that, this paper introduces a fuzzy logic to provide best probability to offer a more secure environment to the customer. The concept of Fuzzy logic usually attains a maximum success ratio on probabilistic condition. The same logic is applied on this paper to attain more benefits on the residence surveillance system. Also, this kind of surveillance systems is helpful to monitor whether the children, as well as aged persons, are safe or not. The proposed approach provides a proper solution to certain surveillance-based issues and builds a prompt smart device with Internet of Things (IoT) support. The device consists of WiFi Camera, Passive-InfraRed (PIR) Sensor, Buzzer Unit, GSM and GPS Module. The WiFi camera streams the media data to the server for monitoring the residence in live manner as well as the PIR sensor captures the human images and alert accordingly. The concept of IoT plays a vital role in this system and the sensor details are gathered from the smart device and forward it to server for surveillance. The previously trained module on server identifies the flaws over the scenario and provides the appropriate response for such cases. This method provides a best solution to attain high level of security over the residence. © 2021

Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19) is a viral infection that rose in a city in the Chinese province of Hubei, Wuhan. The world did not wait too long until the virus spread to reach Europe, Africa, and America to be a global pandemic. Due to the lack of information about the behaviour of the virus, several prediction models are in use all over around the world for decision making and taking precautionary actions. Therefor, in this paper, a new model named MSIR based on SIR model is proposed. The model is used to predict the spread of the disease in three cities Riyadh, Hufof and Jeddah in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Also the estimation of disease propagation with and without containment measure is carried out. We think that the results could be used to enhance the predictability of the pandemic outbreaks in other cities and to build long term artificial intelligence prediction model. © 2021

Hybrid nanofluids are engaged in phase-change materials and thermal energy storage systems to enhance heat transfer during the charging and discharging processes. Improved understanding of how variable viscosity and thermal radiation affect these fluids contributes to more efficient energy management. This study aims to formulate an efficient mathematical model for the two-dimensional flow of a hybrid nanofluid composed of copper (Cu) and alumina oxide (Al₂O₃) suspended with base fluid H₂O to form a hybrid fluid under the influence of thermal radiation. The present study also integrates the effects of variable viscosity and viscous dissipation. Electromagnetic radiation impact due to temperature also amalgamated. The governing PDEs are reformulated into ODEs via tailored similarity transformations. These reformulated equations are then numerically resolved using Bvp4c solver, leveraging the shooting method within MATLAB for precision and efficiency. The most significant results are predetermined relevant parameters, such as the prosperity parameter, magnetic parameter, radiation parameter, slip velocity parameter,Biot number, convention parameter, Eckert number, heat source parameter, Prandtl number on velocity and temperature distribution are inspected graphically and in the form of table. Outcomes illustrate that fluid velocity flattens by increasing magnetic parameters because there exists a Lorentz force that opposes the fluid motion, whereas enhancement is noted via radiation parameter. Compared to conventional nanofluid, temperature curves of hybrid nanoliquid is higher. Furthermore, recent results indicate strong agreement for a specific instance. © 2024 Elsevier B.V.
