The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence has led to the proliferation of deep-fake technology, which poses significant challenges to digital security and trust. As deepfakes become increasingly sophisticated, there is an urgent need for effective detection methods that can accurately identify manipulated media across various platforms and contexts. Deepfakes are outcomes of advanced Artificial Intelligence algorithms such as Generative Adversarial Networks, and have become a danger to digital integrity, personal privacy, and public trust. With continuous advancements in the techniques for generating deepfakes, conventional methods of detection based on the artifact analysis of visuals and inconsistencies in physiological signals have started to wear out. This paper presents a hybrid deep learning model that works between Swin Transformers and ConvNeXt architectures for better detection. The proposed model achieves better detection accuracy and robustness by leveraging Swin Transformers' hierarchical feature extraction capabilities and the efficient processing strengths of ConvNeXt. Obtained results on the "Deepfake and Real Images" dataset demonstrated performance of 95.6% accuracy, 97.4% precision, 93.7% recall, and a 95.2% F1 score. The hybrid model is more effective than existing ones, demonstrating their potential for concrete application in social media platforms, news agencies, and digital forensics to help fight misinformation and preserve digital trust.

Cloud computing becomes an important application development platform for processing user data with high *** providers are accustomed to providing storage centers outside the trusted location preferred by the data ***,ensuring the security and confidentiality of the data while processing in the centralized network is very *** secured key transmission between the sender and the receiver in the network is a huge challenge in managing most of the sensitive data transmission among the cloud *** are very active over the network like real authenticated user to hack the personal sensitive data,such as bank balance,health data,personal data,and confidential documents over the cloud *** this research,a secured key agreement between the sender and the receiver using Kerberos authentication protocol with fingerprint is proposed to ensure security in *** of patients are monitored using wireless sensor devices and are then transferred to the *** protocol helps in avoiding unnecessary communication of authenticated data over the cloud *** security process is a procedure with the best security in most of the authentication *** node is responsible in carrying data packets from the sender to the receiver in the cloud *** Kerberos protocol is used in trust node to ensure *** communication between the local health center and the healthcare server is ensured by using a fingerprint feature called minutiae form,which refers to the fingerprint image of both sender and *** computational and communicational cost of the proposed system is lesser when compared with other existing authentication methods.

Enhancing Deep Reinforcement Learning with Scenario-Based Modeling

Deep reinforcement learning agents have achieved unprecedented results when learning to generalize from unstructured data. However, the “black-box” nature of the trained DRL agents makes it difficult to ensure that they adhere to various requirements posed by engineers. In this work, we put forth a novel technique for enhancing the reinforcement learning training loop, and specifically—its reward function, in a way that allows engineers to directly inject their expert knowledge into the training process. This allows us to make the trained agent adhere to multiple constraints of interest. Moreover, using scenario-based modeling techniques, our method allows users to formulate the defined constraints using advanced, well-established, behavioral modeling methods. This combination of such modeling methods together with ML learning tools produces agents that are both high performing and more likely to adhere to prescribed constraints. Furthermore, the resulting agents are more transparent and hence more maintainable. We demonstrate our technique by evaluating it on a case study from the domain of internet congestion control, and present promising results. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Agriculture, energy, mining, healthcare, and transportation are a few of the top industries transformed by the industrial internet of things (IIoT). Industry 4.0 mainly relies on machine learning (ML) to use the vast interconnectedness and large amounts of IIoT data that IIoT primarily drives. ML approaches are trained on confidential data generated by the IIoT environment often exposes privacy to adversarial assaults. Blockchain-based ML is established in the proposed secured IIoT research work to safeguard and enhance privacy. This research proposes a Gaussian differential privacy-integrated machine learning model (GDPIMLM), created for a scalable and controlled IIoT system, fully connected (FC) layer, implemented blockchain benefits to create a privacy-preserving mechanism while considering other limitations and reasonable time. A probability test using two altered Gaussian distributions (GD) forms the basis for defining Gaussian differential privacy (GDP). Due to a central restriction theorem for differential privacy, GDP is the primary privacy term within the family of Federal differential privacy (f-DP) policies. Ethereum is used to implement experimental evaluations. Data collections show that the recommended method enhances digital data privacy with industry-leading security without reducing performance. The performance analysis of the proposed model of secured industrial internet of things (IIoT) is studied using the accuracy of comparison with existing methods and for diverse distributed entities (DE). The proposed secured IIoT attains a minimal time consumption (TC) of 790 Sec—the highest accuracy of 92%, outperforming the existing method. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

The multi-agent energy management system (EMS) is needed to coordinate multiple agents of a microgrid to provide efficient operation of the system. In this study, multi-agent EMS is seen as the middle controller between primary and tertiary control levels. It is responsible for determining the relevant set points based on data gathered from the tertiary control level and sending them to the appropriate primary control level agents. The main objective of this paper is to propose a new optimization model for multi-agent EMS to minimize errors between the forecasted and real-time data at every predetermined time interval. Rather than using a traditional centralized microgrid controller to determine the dispatch of resources, a new framework-based multi-agent coordination is proposed to achieve the following objectives: minimizing load shedding, maximizing load dispatch and reliability, providing frequency, and maintaining voltage stability. © 2023 IEEE.

The dynamic and uneven terrain of our environment introduces complexity for locomotion vehicles to navigate easily across different settings. Wheelchairs belong to the category of vehicles that require locomotion across various uneven terrains, such as stairs and other partitions. Therefore, the aim of this work is to design a wheel that can travel through various environments without using complex mechanisms. This aim was achieved by creating a novel transformable wheel. This wheel can turn into a legged wheel without using a complex mechanism and, when unnecessary, transform back into a normal wheel. Several simulations were carried out to understand the design's capability to overcome obstacles. In this case, the stair was the obstacle, and the results illustrated that the wheel is capable of climbing stairs without serious issues. Different parameters, such as speed and force, were examined with various values. The results showed that the weight on the wheelchair plays a significant role in climbing. For instance, with lighter weight, the structure moves without major slipping. The roughness of the surface is also related to the wheelchair's ability to reach the top of the stairs. A finer depth of cuts on the surface of the stairs increases the chance of the legged wheel firmly gripping and moving up the stairs. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents StreamTag, a platform designed for the efficient management of labeled data in healthcare environments, particularly for activity recognition systems in residential and nursing home settings. Human Activity Recognition (HAR) is crucial for monitoring patient behaviors and supporting personalized care, and this field has evolved significantly with advances in IoT and AI. StreamTag integrates a flexible data labeling structure and a modular architecture, enabling data collection, labeling, and secure management of activity data. The system leverages non-relational databases for scalable data handling, along with secure protocols to ensure data integrity and privacy. This work examines existing approaches in HAR, including data-driven, knowledge-based, and hybrid models, and situates StreamTag as a versatile solution that combines flexible user-controlled labeling with high adaptability for diverse healthcare contexts. This paper deals with the problem of detecting the malware by using emulation approach. Modern malware include various avoid techniques, to hide its anomaly actions. Advantages of using sandbox and emulation technologies are described. Various anti-emulation techniques that are used in modern malware considered. Obfuscation as one primary approach to hide malware malicious actions described and discussed. State of emulator is presented, and the advantages of its usage are covered. Distributed model for malware detection is considered. Basic emulator and its current capabilities presented. Prepared files that represent malware are described. Experimental results for developed files that differs with included avoid techniques are presented. Disadvantages of proposed approach is described. Optimistic versioning is a key component in supporting collaborative workflows. Text-based versioning has been widely adopted for versioning code, but in model-driven engineering, dealing with visual concrete syntaxes, new methods are required. In the case of blended modeling, a mixture of both textual and visual syntaxes, concurrently editable and synchronizable, introduces additional challenges. We propose a type of operation-based versioning to record not only user edits, but also bi-directional change propagations between concrete and abstract syntax. This way we can support blended modeling with layout continuity, and flexible handling of missing information (e. g., layout information) when rendering changes from abstract to concrete syntax. In addition, the proposed versioning approach enables collaborative conflict resolution by allowing partial conflict resolution, thus deferring a final resolution. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
