Analyzing a Two-Staged Multi-objective Transportation Problem Under Quantity Dependent Credit Period Policy Using q-fuzzy Number

Recently, the inclusion of a credit period policy becomes a beneficial strategy to improve a transportation business from the point of views of source and destination. In this regard, this study addresses a two-staged multi-objective transportation problem to transport the products from a production house to some retailers through some distributors by minimizing total transportation cost of retailers and by maximizing total profit of distributors simultaneously. Here, distributors offer a quantity dependent credit period policy to the retailers to induce them to procure the items from that distributors. Under this policy, those retailers who collect the materials more than a threshold value, would get this facility. Ideally, to assign a value of the credit period, there is no specific rule. It is totally the own strategy of the distributors with uncertainty. So, it takes different amounts at different times depending on the market situations. In that sense, it has been considered as q-fuzzy number, which is a combination of linear and non-linear memberships. To simplify the model, some arithmetic operations on q-fuzzy number and its defuzzification procedure have been introduced. Finally, two examples have been considered to examine the feasibility for both the cases (crisp and fuzzy) of the model and a non-elitist multi-objective genetic algorithm has been used to find the optimal solution. © 2020, Springer Nature India Private Limited.

The aim of this study is threefold. First, a qualitative information security risk survey is implemented in human resources department of a logistics company. Second, a machine learning risk classification and prediction model with proper data set is established from the results obtained in this survey. Third, several classifier algorithms are tested where their training and test performances are compared using error rates, ROC curves, Kappa statistics and F-measures. The results show that some classifier algorithms can be used to estimate specific human based information security risks within acceptable error rates. ©2010 IEEE.

As a part of an ongoing effort to develop a "standard library" for scientific and engineering parallel applications, we have developed a preliminary finite element framework. This framework allows an application scientist interested in modeling structural properties of materials, including dynamic behavior such as crack propagation, to develop codes that embody their modeling techniques without having to pay attention to the parallelization process. The resultant code modularly separates parallel implementation techniques from numerical algorithms. As the framework builds upon an object-based load balancing framework, it allows the resultant applications to automatically adapt to load imbalances resulting from the application or the environment (e.g. timeshared clusters). This paper presents results from the first version of the framework, and demonstrates results on a crack propagation application. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2000.

Most of the sensor devices in the Internet of Things systems are based on energy-efficient microcontrollers, the computing resources of which are limited, as well as the amount of available memory. Increasing the security of the use of such devices with the help of neural networks is an important and urgent problem. The article describes the possibility of using artificial neural networks in small microcontrollers with limited resources. The purpose of this work is to check the possibility of calculating neural networks based on integer arithmetic to reduce the time of calculating a neural network and eliminate data normalization operations, as well as to evaluate the feasibility of using such neural networks in the field of security of the Internet of Things in comparison with traditional methods, such as black lists and white lists. The following results were obtained: when switching to integer arithmetic, compared to floating point, the accuracy of the result calculations is within the permissible error of neural network training, that is, it has not changed. Execution time decreased by 30-96%, depending on the architecture of the microcontroller. The program size is reduced by 22-48%, also depending on the microcontroller architecture. Conclusions: the possibility and expediency of using neural networks optimized for microcontrollers with limited resources was proved. This will increase the security of Internet of Things systems, especially against device authentication threats and intrusion detection. Prospects for further research are determined. ©2024 IEEE.

Artificial neural networks are effectively used to solve various problems (recognition, clustering, classification, etc.) in conditions where information about objects is given by vectors with binary components. The Hamming neural network is an effective tool for solving these problems when the initial information is given in the form of bipolar vectors. However, when comparing binary objects with qualitative features, more than 70 different distances (proximity measures) and proximity functions of binary objects are used. Synthesizing dozens of neural networks for matching binary objects is too laborious. Therefore, a universal approach to the synthesis of such neural networks is proposed. In addition, the Hamming network can select only one object from its memory that is closest to the input. It cannot function normally if there are two or more such objects. The proposed neural network does not have this shortcoming. And last but not least, a neural network with this architecture allows you to calculate various distances and similarity measures of the input data and data stored in the network memory © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper we show how our approach of extending Language Driven Engineering (LDE) with natural language-based code generation supports system migration: The characteristic decomposition of LDE into tasks that are solved with dedicated domain-specific languages divides the migration tasks into portions adequate to apply LLM-based code generation. We illustrate this effect by migrating a low-code/no-code generator for point-and-click adventures from JavaScript to TypeScript in a way that maintains an important property: generated web applications can automatically be validated via automata learning and model analysis by design. In particular, this allows to easily test the correctness of migration by learning the difference automaton for the generated products of the source and the target system of the migration. © 2024, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The purpose of this research is to develop a functional model of the electrocardiological study using the methodology of functional modeling IDEF0. The functional model of the electrocardiological study are developed in the form of a contextual diagram, its decomposition, and decomposition of the activities To perform registration and analysis of electrocardiograms and To perform diagnostics. Using the proposed functional model of the electrocardiological study, the structural diagram of the cardiological decision support system is developed based on the morphological analysis of biomedical signals with locally concentrated features. The modules of the proposed cardiological decision support system, as well as the modes of its operation, are considered. Further research is aimed at developing an information model of the electrocardiological study for the development of an informational structure of the cardiological decision support system based on the morphological analysis of electrocardiograms. © 2022 IEEE.

work proposes a two-factor authentication method by integrating the second factor into the authentication service in system with a centralized user's database. This approach made it possible to achieve the universality of the process and reduce the authentication time. In this case, the compromise of the first factor becomes inexpedient. Simulation showed that the rest of the authentication parameters meet the requirements defined by international standards for two-factor authentication procedures. © 2022 IEEE.

AR navigation is one of the interactive ways to use augmented reality. By displaying virtual guides in physical space using a smartphone, users can navigate from point to point more naturally than by comparing the map to their immediate environment. Thanks to this great advantage, AR navigation can help in searching both inside the academic building and on the territory of the institute. In this paper, the authors used 3DUnity and AR Foundation to create a navigation system around the territory of NTU KhPI using augmented reality technology. This development will allow you to navigate the terrain of the KhPI campus, find the location of the desired building, and also look the route from building to building on the map. The whole process is displayed on the smartphone screen. Real-time synchronization allows users in real world to feel virtual space, thereby enhancing poignancy and interaction, and making effect more vivid and almost real. © 2022 IEEE.
