A neuron with binary inputs and a binary output represents a Boolean function. Our goal is to extract this Boolean function into a tractable representation that will facilitate the explanation and formal verification of a neuron's behavior. Unfortunately, extracting a neuron's Boolean function is in general an NP-hard problem. However, it was recently shown that prime im-plicants of this Boolean function can be enumerated efficiently, with only polynomial time delay. Building on this result, we propose a best-first search algorithm that is able to incrementally tighten inner and outer bounds of a neuron's Boolean function. These bounds correspond to truncated prime-implicant covers of the Boolean function. We provide two case studies that highlight our ability to bound the behavior of a neuron. © 2023 by the authors. This study discusses the development of a web application aimed at facilitating Sinhala document creation, with a specific emphasis on Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and the handling of Sinhala commands through vocal input. Leveraging machine learning techniques, including convolutional neural networks and Natural Language Processing, the application's core features were established. Extensive research was conducted to tailor the application's content to the needs of its primary users, ensuring maximum effectiveness. The user-friendly interfaces of the web application are designed for clarity, simplicity, and consistency. The primary objective of this research is to comprehensively analyze the implementation of Sinhala voice-to-text conversion and Sinhala command handling systems. These systems are primarily designed to benefit diverse users, including journalists, content writers, and differently abled individuals with verbal abilities, by enhancing the efficiency of creating Sinhala documents. Through a detailed exploration of the research methodology, this study offers insight into the development process of the web-based system. The outcomes of the linguistic model training, presented within the study, reveal achievements and advancements that address the limitations inherent in existing solutions. Key findings from this research demonstrate the successful functionality of the Sinhala voice-to-text converter and the efficacy of the Sinhala command handler. The voice-to-text conversion system achieved an impressive accuracy rate of over 80%, while the Sinhala command handler exhibited an accuracy of approximately 80%. Moreover, this research envisions potential applications that extend beyond document creation. The technology showcased in the web application holds promise for broader language-based applications, impacting education, accessibility, and communication across the native Sinhala-speaking community in Sri Lanka. In this paper, we investigate the relationship between the use of discourse relations and the CEFR-level of argumentative English learner essays. Using both the Rhetorical Structure Theory (RST) and the Penn Discourse Tree-Bank (PDTB) frameworks, we analyze essays from The International Corpus Network of Asian Learners (ICNALE), and the Corpus and Repository of Writing (CROW). Results show that the use of the RST relations of EXPLANATION and BACKGROUND, as well as the first-level PDTB sense of CONTINGENCY, are influenced by the English proficiency level of the writer. © 2023 Incoma Ltd. Railway web page traffic manipulate is a complex and dynamic method that includes making real-time picks based mostly on various uncertain and difficult to understand factors, collectively with fluctuating passenger demand, diverse train schedules, and unpredictable weather conditions. Traditional decision-making strategies often battle to cope with the ones uncertainties, foremost to inefficiencies and potential safety risks. This paper proposes the software program of fuzzy properly judgment-based completely decision-making systems to optimize railway web page traffic manipulate. Fuzzy properly judgment, with its potential to model uncertainty and control difficult to understand data, offers a robust framework for boosting decision-making approaches in railway operations. By simulating various conditions and integrating real-time data, the proposed gadget can dynamically regulate train schedules, manipulate delays, and enhance everyday operational efficiency. The paper may present case studies demonstrating the effectiveness of fuzzy properly judgment in dealing with railway web page traffic, reducing delays, and improving passenger satisfaction. The findings advice that incorporating fuzzy properly judgment into railway web page traffic manipulates systems can purpose greater adaptive and resilient railway operations, ultimately contributing to greater steady and additional reliable rail networks. © 2024 IEEE.

The 4D auto-labeling system, with its potential to enhance data annotation efficiency for 3D object detection, has garnered significant attention. However, its adoption has been hampered by the high costs associated with temporally annotated long-sequential training data and limited generalization capabilities across diverse scenarios. In this paper, we hypothesize that a multi-dataset approach can address these challenges and, accordingly, first introduce a Unified training pipeline for multi-dataset 4D Auto-Labeling, namely Uni4DAL. We recognize that this is a challenging task, primarily due to data-level variations and feature-level inconsistencies among various datasets. Motivated by this understanding, we initially propose a series of Data-Level Alignment (DLA) operations to mitigate potential discrepancies between diverse datasets and ensure synchronized training progress across samples from multiple datasets. Furthermore, to address feature-level inconsistencies, we introduce the Mixed Expert Models Voxel Feature Encoding (MoE-VFE) module, which aims to extract both domain-specific and domain-generalizable features. Additionally, we employ a Domain-Adaptive Hard Example Mining (DA-HEM) technique to leverage both data-level and feature-level consistencies, ensuring that the model pays enhanced attention to the challenging samples during multi-dataset training. Finally, comprehensive experiments demonstrate that Uni4DAL significantly improves performance on the nuScenes, Argoverse2, and Waymo datasets, and exhibits greater robustness with insufficient training data. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.

Humankind is facing another deadliest pandemic of all times in history,caused by *** from this challenging pandemic,World Health Organization(WHO)considers tuberculosis(TB)as a preeminent infectious disease due to its high infection ***,both TB and COVID-19 severely affect the lungs,thus hardening the job of medical practitioners who can often misidentify these diseases in the current ***,the time of need calls for an immediate and meticulous automatic diagnostic tool that can accurately discriminate both *** one of the preliminary smart health systems that examine three clinical states(COVID-19,TB,and normal cases),this study proposes an amalgam of image filtering,data-augmentation technique,transfer learning-based approach,and advanced deep-learning classifiers to effectively segregate these *** first employed a generative adversarial network(GAN)and Crimmins speckle removal filter on X-ray images to overcome the issue of limited data and *** pre-processed image is then converted into red,green,and blue(RGB)and Commission Internationale de l’Elcairage(CIE)color spaces from which deep fused features are formed by extracting relevant features using DenseNet121 and *** feature extractor extracts 1000 most useful features which are then fused and finally fed to two variants of recurrent neural network(RNN)classifiers for precise discrimination of threeclinical *** analysis showed that the proposed Bi-directional long-short-term-memory(Bi-LSTM)model dominated the long-short-termmemory(LSTM)network by attaining an overall accuracy of 98.22%for the three-class classification task,whereas LSTM hardly achieved 94.22%accuracy on the test dataset.

Agile development aims at rapidly developing software while embracing the continuous evolution of user requirements along the whole development *** stories are the primary means of requirements collection and elicitation in the agile development.A project can involve a large amount of user stories,which should be clustered into different groups based on their functionality’s similarity for systematic requirements analysis,effective mapping to developed features,and efficient ***,the current user story clustering is mainly conducted in a manual manner,which is time-consuming and subjective to human *** this paper,we propose a novel approach for clustering the user stories automatically on the basis of natural language ***,the sentence patterns of each component in a user story are first analysed and determined such that the critical structure in the representative tasks can be automatically extracted based on the user story *** similarity of user stories is calculated,which can be used to generate the connected graph as the basis of automatic user story *** evaluate the approach based on thirteen datasets,compared against ten baseline *** results show that our clustering approach has higher accuracy,recall rate and F1-score than these *** is demonstrated that the proposed approach can significantly improve the efficacy of user story clustering and thus enhance the overall performance of agile *** study also highlights promising research directions for more accurate requirements elicitation.

In April, 2021 a ransomware attack occurred on Colonial Pipeline. The details of this attack point to the hacking group DarkSide taking advantage of the design flaws in the Colonial Pipeline network. After extensive research, the specificity of this attack was related to VPN access through an unused account. In order to regain control of their systems, Colonial Pipeline paid the attackers. This act has only created an incentive for similar attacks across the nation. The events of this attack have impacted both the United States, where the company is located and the world in a very negative way. This paper analyzes the attack with published data and provides a detailed attack methodology. From the attack methodology the focus then shifts into the impacts that an attack of this caliber had, on both the company, the United States, and the world. We then outline possible defense strategies against this type of ransomware attack, analyzing what could have been done to prevent this attack from happening. In addition, we also detail how companies can prevent future attacks of this caliber. Finally we wrap up or findings and detail the key takeaways of the entire attack. © 2023 IEEE.

Online testing is critical to ensuring reliable operations of the next generation of supercomputers based on a kilo-core network-on-chip(NoC)interconnection *** present a parallel software-based self-testing(SBST)solution that makes use of the bounded model checking(BMC)technique to generate test sequences and parallel *** this method,the parallel SBST with BMC derives the leading sequence for each router’s internal function and detects all functionally-testable faults related to the function.A Monte-Carlo simulation algorithm is then used to search for the approximately optimum configuration of the parallel packets,which guarantees the test quality and minimizes the test ***,a multi-threading technology is used to ensure that the Monte-Carlo simulation can reach the approximately optimum configuration in a large random space and reduce the generating time of the parallel *** results show that the proposed method achieves a high fault coverage with a reduced test ***,by performing online testing in the functional mode with SBST,it effectively avoids the over-testing problem caused by functionally untestable turns in kilo-core NoCs.

Due to its importance in studying people's thoughts on various Web 2.0 services, emotion classification is a critical undertaking. Most existing research is focused on the English language, with little work on low-resource languages. Though sentiment analysis, particularly emotion classification in English, has received increasing attention in recent years, little study has been done in the context of Bangla, one of the world's most widely spoken languages. In this research, we propose a complete set of approaches for identifying and extracting emotions from Bangla texts. We provide a Bangla emotion classifier for six classes, i.e., anger, disgust, fear, joy, sadness, and surprise, from Bangla words using transformer-based models, which exhibit phenomenal results in recent days, especially for high-resource languages. The Unified Bangla Multi-class Emotion Corpus (UBMEC) is used to assess the performance of our models. UBMEC is created by combining two previously released manually labelled datasets of Bangla comments on six emotion classes with fresh manually labelled Bangla comments created by us. The corpus dataset and code we used in this work are publicly available. © 2024 IEEE.
