Now-a-days, the generation of videos has increased dramatically due to the quick growth of multimedia and the internet. The need for effective ways to store, manage, and index the massive numbers of videos has become imperative due to this expansion. As a result, a method needs to be proposed that collects only the necessary data from the original recording. In computer vision, Video summarization is a significant task, and its primary goal is to give a quick summary of the video by removing irrelevant information and capturing key frames from the video. Many approaches have developed over the last several decades, using the most recent deep neural network architectures that represent the current state-of-the-art. Our method involves extracting vital key frames from the input video using the MobileNetSSD model, which is well-known for its efficient recognition and localization of objects of interest. These highlighted frames are essential in creating a detailed video summary. Furthermore, a method of temporal analysis is applied to guarantee that the summary accurately reflects the relevant events in the order in which they occurred, contributing to a coherent and meaningful representation of the information. We evaluated the proposed approach on TV Sum and SUM me video datasets, comparing the results against cutting-edge video summarization techniques. Poverty is still one of the factors that have been affecting the lives of humans over hundreds of decades in the world but still, it is not entirely eradicated. One of the main reasons is the lack of identification of the economical pattern in a particular area that has been affected by poverty over a long period which has not been noted by any NGOs or government. So, that is the main reason why poverty eradication is still the first goal of UN sustainable development goals.[1] Understanding economical patterns over a region can lead us in providing informed policy-making, targeted NGO, and government-aided efforts. If we could track them down in an easy method at the earlier stage or in the advanced method and predict this fatal enigma on the region, the poverty can surely prevent or at least save lives. The above dilemma leads us to the essential method of tracking the reliable and timely measurements of economic activities, which are key for understanding economic development and designing government policies. But still many countries, especially developing countries, lack reliable data. Though data is available, the lack of quality in the data remains a huge challenge. In this paper, we propose a low-cost yet efficient approach to predict the economical pattern in a rural region from satellite imagery, which is globally available, in the meantime, satellite images are continuously updating to the changeable environmental conditions. Since the satellite image is way more advantageous than traditional methods, they play a huge role in the model. Traditional methods like surveys are expensive to conduct and include a lot of manpower. [2]This contributes to infer socioeconomic indicators from large-scale, remotely-sensed data. Oral cancer is a major global health issue marked by high morbidity and mortality rates, primarily due to late-stage diagnosis. This work proposes the Advanced AI models that use multimodal data for early detection and diagnosis of oral cancer. Currently, traditional machine learning algorithms coupled with deep learning algorithms such as Convolutional neural networks (CNNs), focus on image-based analysis for detecting cancer. These works are delimited with minimal robustness and input data efficacy. Through the proposed multimodal AI model, histopathological images and clinical notes of the oral cancer patients are combinedly analyzed by which diagnostic accuracy is enhanced. This framework integrates CNNs for image analysis and Transformer-based models for text analysis, with a sophisticated fusion layer for data integration. Enhanced preprocessing techniques and performance optimization through Vision Transformers (ViTs) and BERT models significantly improve sensitivity, specificity, and F1-score. The multimodal AI model achieved a sensitivity of 0.90, specificity of 0.85, and an F1-score of 0.89, outperforming previous models like SVMs, RF, and CNNs. This indicates a high accuracy in identifying both positive and negative cases, ensuring reliable diagnoses. The results demonstrate a substantial improvement over traditional methods, that lays foundations for early diagnosis. © 2024 IEEE.

EPDTNet + -EM: Advanced Transfer Learning and SubNet Architecture for Medical Image Diagnosis

This paper presents a novel medical imaging framework, Efficient Parallel Deep Transfer SubNet+-based Explainable Model (EPDTNet + -EM), designed to improve the detection and classification of abnormalities in medical images. The model integrates Enhanced Exponential Transfer Learning (En-ETL) and the Parallel SubNet (PSNet +) architecture, addressing challenges like overfitting, high computational cost, and limited generalization across complex datasets. En-ETL accelerates learning and enhances precision, while PSNet + balances computational efficiency and performance through parallel convolutional layers and an axis attention mechanism. The proposed framework preprocesses medical images using resizing, noise removal, and contrast enhancement, ensuring high-quality inputs for analysis. For classification, the PSNet + model categorizes medical images into normal and abnormal cases. Explainable AI (XAI) is applied to highlight key features in classified images, improving interpretability and clinical decision-making. Experimental results validate the framework on various datasets, including MRI, CT, X-ray, and mammography images. The proposed model achieves a classification accuracy of 98.83%, a false positive rate of 2%, and an execution time of 5.3 ms. Comparative Analysis show superior performance over existing approaches in classification accuracy and efficiency. Ablation studies confirmed the significant contributions of the proposed model using each component in enhancing performance. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

The process of modifying digital images has been made significantly easier by the availability of several image editing software. However, in a variety of contexts, including journalism, judicial processes, and historical documentation, the authenticity of images is of utmost importance. In particular, copy-move forgery is a distinct type of image manipulation, where a portion of an image is copied and pasted into another area of the same image, creating a fictitious or altered version of the original. In this research, we present a lightweight MultiResUnet architecture with the similarity-based positional attention module (SPAM) attention module for copy-move forgery detection (CMFD). By using a similarity measure across the patches of the features, this attention module identifies the patches, where a forged region is present. The lightweight network also aids in resource-efficient training and transforms the model into one that can be used in real time. We have employed four commonly used but extremely difficult CMFD datasets, namely CoMoFoD, COVERAGE, CASIA v2, and MICC-F600, to assess the effectiveness of our model. The proposed model significantly lowers false positives, thereby improving the pixel-level accuracy and dependability of CMFD tools. © 2020 IEEE.

Label enhancement (LE) is still a challenging task to mitigate the dilemma of the lack of label distribution. Existing LE work typically focuses on primarily formulating a projection between feature space and label distribution space from discriminative model perspective, which preserves the relevance consistency that the sign of recovered label distribution should be consistent with the logical label. Different from previous algorithms, we formulate this problem from a causal perspective and present a novel LE method via the structured causal model (LESCM). Specifically, the proposed LESCM deliberates establishing the causal graph with assuming that label distribution is a cause of feature and logical label, which naturally satisfies the definition of label distribution learning (LDL). With capturing the underlying causal relationships, we can significantly boost the interpretability and identifiability of label enhancement. Meanwhile, except for the relevance consistency, LESCM are encouraged to sustain the order consistency that assigns higher description degree of the recovered label distribution to the positive labels, as compared with the negative labels. Empirically, sufficient experiments on several label distribution learning data sets validate the effectiveness of LESCM. © 1989-2012 IEEE.
