High dynamic range (HDR) images are the one's which includes all the objects from the original scene with correct exposure. The HDR content can be very helpful in analysis purposes as it possess all features of the scene as it is. Although it is useful the creation of HDR is very much expensive. Low dynamic range (LDR) images are less expensive but may include saturation regions leads to the absence of some content. For this reason there is a necessity to think of an alternative. The reconstruction of HDR from LDR content can be the alternative solution for the problem. This process can be done using different *** studies mainly represents different kinds of machine learning techniques. The methods include machine learning , deep learning , different kinds of CNN architectures specially designed for particular purposes , GAN models , reverse tone mapping operators etc. This survey also analyses evaluation techniques for assessing quality of images and techniques like image declipping, tone mapping operator etc. Some of the analyzed methods also deals with reconstruction of HDR videos from LDR videos rather than from raw *** in the survey reveals accuracy of different methods. © 2023 IEEE.

MRI has revolutionized the analysis and remedy of disorder by using imparting precise and accurate images of soft tissue. This technology has been similarly superior by means of the improvement of 3-D MRI, which permits improved detection and characterization of tumors and improves accuracy of diagnosis and remedy. 3D MRI has been found to be in particular beneficial within the characterization of brain tumors as it offers a greater detailed assessment of tumor size, shape and composition, in comparison to traditional imaging techniques including X-ray or CT. Decentralized finance (DeFi) is an integral component of the blockchain ecosystem, enabling a range of financial activities through smart-contract-based protocols. Traditional DeFi governance typically involves manual parameter adjustments by protocol teams or token holder votes, and is thus prone to human bias and financial risks, undermining the system's integrity and security. While existing efforts aim to establish more adaptive parameter adjustment schemes, there remains a need for a governance model that is both more efficient and resilient to significant market manipulations. In this paper, we introduce "***", a learning-based governance framework that employs a deep Qnetwork (DQN) reinforcement learning (RL) strategy to perform semi-automated, data-driven parameter adjustments. We create a DeFi environment with an encoded action-state space akin to the Aave lending protocol for simulation and testing purposes, where *** has demonstrated the capability to retain funds that would have otherwise been lost to price oracle attacks. In tests with real-world data, *** outperforms the benchmark approaches by at least 14% and the static baseline model by tenfold, in terms of the preset performance metric–protocol profitability. Overall, the comprehensive evaluations confirm that *** is more efficient and effective than traditional governance methods, thereby enhancing the security, profitability, and ultimately, the sustainability of DeFi protocols. © 2025 IEEE. Photovoltaic panel used in solar power generation is an environmentally beneficial and sustainable energy source that has been used to transform sunlight into electrical power. Arranged in large solar facilities, these panels are connected to a central inverter, which converts Direct Current (DC) to alternating current (AC) electricity with a small amount of energy loss. Clean surfaces, unhindered light exposure, and high solar irradiance are all necessary for optimal panel performance. It's critical to assess the inverter's efficiency by comparing its AC to DC power. Large-scale installations with sensor-equipped panels and inverters track performance to help with maintenance and forecasting of power generation. The Internet of Things (IoT) facilitates data accessibility and remote monitoring, which helps choose the best location for solar power generation. Smart system continuous monitoring expedites site inspections, which supports urban smart grid integration. In this research study, a hybrid machine learning model is presented by combining the attention processes, long short-term memory (LSTM) networks, and clustering approaches. This model is separated into different phases for forecasting, training, and cloud data clustering, finds pertinent historical data, builds a hybrid machine learning model, and chooses the best training model. In comparison to conventional approaches, this method significantly improves prediction accuracy, which is important for integrating photovoltaic systems into smart grids, particularly in smart cities. © 2024 IEEE.

Brain Tumor Retrieval in MRI Images with Integration of Optimal Features

This paper presents an approach to improve medical image retrieval, particularly for brain tumors, by addressing the gap between low-level visual and high-level perceived contents in MRI, X-ray, and CT scans. Traditional methods based on color, shape, or texture are less effective. The proposed solution uses machine learning to handle high-dimensional image features, reducing computational complexity and mitigating issues caused by artifacts or noise. It employs a genetic algorithm for feature reduction and a hybrid residual UNet(HResUNet) model for Region-of-Interest(ROI) segmentation and classification, with enhanced image preprocessing. The study examines various loss functions, finding that a hybrid loss function yields superior results, and the GA-HResUNet model outperforms the HResUNet. Comparative analysis with state-of-the-art models shows a 4% improvement in retrieval accuracy.

NVS-GAN: Benefit of generative adversarial network on novel view synthesis

The methodology to generate new views for an object from provided input object view is called Novel View Synthesis (NVS). Humans imagine novel views through prior knowledge gathered through their lifetime. NVS-GAN predicts the novel views through computation. Literature survey reveals that there are limited NVS models with low Trainable Parameter Count (TPC) and low model size. Also, a study on the effect of different loss functions on NVS models was lacking. Lowering the TPC indicates less computational steps for the model to predict the output, therefore desirable. Combined with a low model size, the proposed model will become more suitable for deployment in diverse devices having limited resources for computation. Application of right combination of loss functions yield better accuracy. To address these research gaps, NVS-GAN is proposed. NVS-GAN is a Generative Adversarial Network (GAN) approach which yields NVS-Generator which performs NVS. NVS-Generator incorporates identity skip connections, bilinear sampling module, Depthwise Separable Convolution (DSC) as design features and results in low TPC, model size. In addition to discriminator loss, NVS-GAN is trained with different combinations of loss functions i.e. Mean Absolute Error (MAE) loss, Structural Similarity Index Measure (SSIM) loss, Huber loss on chair and car objects of ShapeNet dataset. The performance of NVS-Generator on test set measured in terms of MAE and SSIM is tabulated and analysed. The performance is compared with existing NVS models. The proposed NVS-GAN experiment recorded reduction in NVS-Generator TPC in 37 %–54.6 % range and reduction in model size between 37.2 % and 47.6 % range. NVS-Generator reduced MAE upto 55 % and improved SSIM upto 4 % than existing models. Summarily, NVS-GAN increased model performance and made the model "lightweight". © 2024 The Authors

In today’s world, geo-positioning technologies, location-based services have attracted many researcher’s due to the increasing amount of spatio textual objects in various applications like social networks, geo location services. Each spatial object consists of spatial locations and a set of query terms. In this paper, an efficient group of query search for spatial keyword in text mining is proposed that retrieves both spatial and textual keyword objects to effectively reduce the search space. The clusters and subclusters are constructed based on the calculated range of the objects location and categories in the dataset. Further, categorylist is constructed that identifies the category of interest (CoI) of users query. Experiments are conducted on two real dataset namely Euro and geographic names. It is observed that GSKTM outperforms inverted linear quad-tree (ILQ) with improved response time and provides groupwise top-k results. Copyright © 2024 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

A recommendation system is an intelligent program that generates a high-quality list of items that a user may be interested in. Today, there are a huge variety of different methods and algorithms for filtering data and providing recommendations. Recommendations can be divided into three main categories: Collaborative Sorting, Content-Based Recommendations and Integrated Recommendations. This paper compares and describes these methods and discusses their limitations by describing the problems plagued by recommendations.E-commerce platform makes easy to sell and buy products on a large customer base. Customers now search on Google instead of directly going certain e-commerce site. Headaches are the most prevalent medical condition in the globe. The migraine is one of the various types of headaches. Along with their excruciating headaches, migraineurs often have nausea, vomiting fits, and light and sound sensitivities. Individuals have unique symptoms, some of which may be more intense than others. A migraine episode is about to begin when an aura, a symptom, appears. Based on the nature of symptoms, migraines can be divided into two basic categories: aura-producing and aura-less. Every individual has different triggers for migraine. This study provides an overview of the state-of-the-art deep learning and machine learning techniques for migraine identification. The Intelligent Surveillance Support System(ISSS) is an innovative software solution that enables real-time monitoring and analysis of security footage to detect and identify potential threats. This system incorporates advanced features such as face recognition, alarm on theft detection, visitors in/out detection and motion detection, to provide a comprehensive and reliable security solution. The implementation of this software aims to improve the efficiency of surveillance systems, thereby enhancing the safety and security of public and private spaces. The focus of this study is on performing the aforementioned tasks in real time while utilizing enhanced algorithms from the OpenCV Library, such as LBPH and Haar Cascading, which enhance the use of machine perception and help us produce outcomes with an accuracy of about 95% after multiple runs. With the rapid advancements in technology and the increasing need for surveillance in today’s world, the Intelligent Surveillance Support System holds immense potential in the field of security and surveillance. © The Author(s) 2023.
