The The accurate forecasting of stock prices holds significant importance in devising effective trading strategies and making informed decisions about stock transactions. The inherent volatility in stock prices, driven by factors like geopolitical tensions, corporate earnings, and commodity costs, underscores the need for precise predictions. Domestic factors such as central bank policies, governmental decisions, inflation, and global market uncertainties also trigger stock price fluctuations. Estimating this volatility is a complex challenge for traders. A novel approach is presented in this research, proposing a hybrid model that integrates two distinct algorithms - Long Short-Term Memory-Convolutional Neural Network (LSTM-CNN). This model harnesses diverse data representations from stock time series to enhance price prediction accuracy. Comparative analyses are performed with alternative models like LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory), CNN (Convolutional Neural Networks) and Naïve Bayes to ascertain the most effective prediction paradigm with minimal error. The study demonstrates that combining temporal and image features extracted from the same dataset diminishes prediction errors compared to using these features independently. The hybrid model outperforms singular prediction models, highlighting a high enhancement. Among the individual models, the LSTM model exhibits superior performance in terms of prediction accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Hostel facility management system is a cloud based system was developed to automate hostel administration. The safety of their child is the top concern for parents who send their kids to hostels, whether it's for college or for other purposes. The entire process might be digital to make things simpler to observe. It will check the cleaning status of rooms, allocate rooms to students online, and give additional capabilities that will increase transparency. It controls the database's data and retrieves it as needed. The created solution supposedly addresses the shortcomings of manual hostel management and is undependable, user-friendly, and efficient. There will be usage of cloud and MongoDB technologies. In order to eliminate manual paperwork, this study is centeredon the development of a hostel automation system based on cloud computing. To reduce concurrency, all hostel activities will be administered on a single platform. © 2023 IEEE.

Rhythmic shaking or tremors in a limb are symptoms of the medical condition known as Parkinson's Disease(PD) that affects the nervous system. A person with PD manifests PD-related symptoms. The condition slows down movement, affects speech, and the ability to perform a task, and writing becomes time-consuming for a person suffering from it. The prevalence of PD is 1-2 per 1000 people at any time. Parkinson's Disease cases rise with age and affect 1% of those over the age of 60. Even in this day and age, despite the numerous technological developments and advancements that have been made, the process of early disease detection is still challenging to achieve. As a result of this, it is important to develop automatic methods that are based on machine learning and that assist clinicians in accurately identifying this disease in its early phases. Literature supports the link between Parkinson's disease and the cardiovascular system. In research, the main objective is to establish the correlation between PD and heart disease by using a Machine learning algorithm named Extreme Gradient Boosting. The experiments were run utilizing python libraries such as Numpy, Pandas, and Scikit Learn. The study and experiment suggested that the PD in patients suffering from heart disease (HD) is comparatively less than in patients with a healthy heart. © 2023 IEEE.

Text recognition using improved dual attention based on textual double embedding network with aquila optimization algorithm

Text recognition is the process that changes an image of text into a system readable text format. Different approaches were suggested related to text detection but the existing methods accuracy is low and error rate is high. Therefore, a text recognition using Improved Dual-attention based on Textual Double Embedding (IDTDE) with aquila optimization algorithm is proposed in this manuscript for effective text recognition. In this method the input image is taken from several datasets. Usually, the images have some kind of noise in it, and to eliminate that, the Structural interval gradient filtering preprocessing technique is used. Then, the ternary pattern and discrete wavelet technique is use to extract best features. Next, residual-based temporal attention convolutional neural network is utilized for the text classification and character identification are effectively attained by and IDTDE network. The Aquila optimization algorithm is used to optimize the network for best extracted text as output. Experimental outcomes demonstrate that the introduced approach accomplishes the high accuracy rates of 98.14%, 98.89%, and 90.47% on the IIIT5K, ICDAR 2013, and ICDAR 2015 datasets, respectively, surpassing the performance of existing frameworks. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Review on Meta-heuristic Algorithm-Based Priority-Aware Computation Offloading in Edge Computing System

Advancements in smart applications highlight the need for increased processing and storage capacity at Smart Devices (SDs). To tackle this, Edge computing (EC) is enabled to offload SD workloads to distant edge servers. So, a variety of offloading strategies are offered in previous research to enhance the efficiency of SDs by offloading their workloads to neighboring cloudlets or distant cloud computing resources. Consequently, optimization techniques are crucial for scheduling computation offloading tasks in (ED) networks. To the greatest extent of current understanding, an extensive analysis of meta-heuristic-based computation offloading (CO) techniques in the EC has not been systematically surveyed. This systematic survey creates an inventory of CO in EC and further summarizes the most advanced recently available EC technologies. In this survey, three types of optimization techniques are examined: Lyapunov, Meta-heuristic, and Convex. The objective functions, application domains, offloading methods, evaluation techniques, merits, and demerits of the existing algorithms are summarized. The proposed survey undergoes four main CO processes: task scheduling, priority-aware task scheduling, load balancing, and edge server selection. In addition, this research provides a comparative analysis of the offloading techniques. Subsequently, unresolved problems and upcoming unfocused or inadequately covered research tasks are explored. © The Institution of Engineers (India) 2025.

Developing a Comprehensive NLP Framework for Indigenous Dialect Documentation and Revitalization

The disappearance of Indigenous languages results in a decrease in cultural diversity, hence making the preservation of these languages extremely important. Conventional methods of documentation are lengthy, and the present AI solutions somehow do not deliver due to data scarcity, dialectal variation, and poor adaptability to low-resource languages. A novel NLP framework is being proposed to solve the existing problems. This framework intermixes Meta-Learning and Contrastive Learning to counter these problems. Thus, adaptation to low-resourced languages becomes rapid via meta-learning (MAML), while dialect differentiation is enhanced through contrastive learning. The model training is carried out on Tatoeba (text) and Mozilla Common Voice (speech) datasets to ensure robust performance in both text and phonetic tasks. The results indicate that there is a reduction of 15% in Word Error Rate (WER), an 18% improvement in BLEU score corresponding to translation, and a 12% improvement in F1-score related to dialect classification. The testing was also done with native speakers to assess its practical viability. It is a real-time translation, transcription, and language documentation system deployed via a cloud-based platform, thereby reaching out to Indigenous communities globally. This dual-learning framework represents a scalable, adaptive, and cost-efficient solution for the revitalization of languages. The models proposed have been a game changer for language preservation, have set new standards for low-resource NLP, and have made some tangible contributions towards the digital sustainability of endangered dialects. © (2025), (science and Information Organization). Bengali reduplication generation with finite-state transducers (FSTs)

Reduplication is a highly productive process in Bengali word formation, with significant implications for various natural language processing (NLP) applications, such as parts-of-speech tagging and sentiment analysis. Despite its importance, this area has not been extensively explored in computational linguistics, especially for low-resource languages like Bengali. This study first demonstrates that a two-way finite-state transducer (FST) can effectively capture complete reduplication generation processes in Bengali. Second, it is shown that the formation of partial reduplication requires a set of 2-way FSTs due to the diverse patterns involved in Bengali partial reduplications. Third, the research highlights the utility of the reduplication generation process in identifying Bengali reduplication instances, achieving a commendable F1-Score of 88.11%. This method outperforms current state-of-the-art methods for identifying reduplicated expressions in Bengali text. This research contributes valuable insights into the computational representation of reduplication in Bengali, offering potential enhancements for NLP tasks in low-resource language scenarios. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The rapid advancement and proliferation of Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) have led to an exponential increase in the volume of data generated continuously. Efficient classification of this streaming data is crucial for predicting system behaviors and enabling proactive decision-making. This research aims to extract actionable knowledge from the continuous data streams of CPS and predict their behavior using advanced supervised learning algorithms. The predictions facilitate timely interventions and necessary actions within the interconnected physical network. The background of this work lies in the intersection of CPS, machine learning, and data stream mining. Traditional batch processing methods are inadequate for real-time analysis of CPS data due to their inherent latency and computational inefficiency. This research employs state-of-the-art techniques for real-time data processing, including incremental learning, sliding window models, and ensemble methods tailored for streaming data. Our approach differs from existing works by focusing on a comprehensive framework that integrates real-time data ingestion, preprocessing, feature extraction, and model updating in a seamless pipeline. Unlike previous studies that often rely on static datasets and offline analysis, our method ensures continuous learning and adaptation to evolving data patterns. Comparative analysis with existing techniques demonstrates superior performance in terms of accuracy, latency, and scalability. Specifically, our models achieved an average classification accuracy of 92%, with a precision of 90%, recall of 89%, and an F1 score of 89.5%. These metrics indicate significant improvements over traditional batch processing methods, which typically lag in responsiveness and adaptability. Pneumonia Net: Pneumonia Detection and Categorization in Chest X-ray Images

Background: Pneumonia is one of the leading causes of death and disability due to respiratory infections. The key to successful treatment of pneumonia is in its early diagnosis and correct classification. PneumoniaNet is a unique deep-learning model based on CNN for identifying pneumonia on chest X-rays. Objective: A deep learning model that combines convolutional, pooling, and fully connected layers is presented in this study. Methods: In order to learn how to identify cases of pneumonia and healthy controls on chest X-ray pictures, PneumoniaNet was trained on a large labeled library of such images. A robust data augmentation technique was adopted to enhance the model generalization and training set diversity. Standard measures like as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score were applied to PneumoniaNet's performance evaluation. Results: The suggested model performed effectively in detecting pneumonia cases with an accuracy of 93.88%. Conclusion: The model was evaluated against the current state-of-art methods and showed that PneumoniaNet outperformed the other models. © 2024 Bentham science Publishers.
