Smart contract is a set of digital executable protocols intended to make contractual clauses partially or fully self-executing, self-enforcing, or both. As the second-generation blockchain technology, smart contracts have greatly enriched the functional expression of blockchain to make application development more convenient. All related data of smart contracts, including program codes, intermediate states, and executed results, will be stored in blockchain to ensure that these data are not tampered with. Also, the consensus protocols of blockchain verify the correctness of the running process by executing the smart contract with the same input at all nodes. Therefore, the blockchain's security mechanism with tamper-proof and traceable makes it possible for smart contracts to be recognized by law. © 2021 IEEE.

Street lights currently use more energy than other types of lighting because of an inefficient mechanism that makes the bulbs use a lot of electricity. The suggested approach uses various sensors on intelligent streetlights to keep an eye on and manage the lights. It has sensors for measuring temperature, brightness, and power that control dimming levels and keep track of status. One Zigbee network serves as the connection point for these lights. In the modification, a cloud- and IoT-based installation was made. Through Zigbee -based data transmission, sensor values are recorded on a distant server known as the Cloud. Additionally, it lowers electricity theft. We include a trash can notice in addition to this street light idea. When the garbage can is whole, a machine automatically notifies the business as people approach the sun, and the brightness of the street lights changes or is increased.

Healthcare monitoring frameworks emerged as one of the most essential frameworks and innovations established over the last decade. As a result of failing to provide adequate clinical attention to patients at the appropriate time, many people are facing the possibility of an untimely death. Ultimately, the goal was to develop an IoT-based integrated healthcare monitoring framework that could be relied upon by healthcare professionals to screen their patients, whether they were in the hospital or at home, to ensure that they were being well-cared for. Sensors, an information acquisition unit, a microcontroller (e.g., Arduino), and a product modification were used to construct a mobile phone-based remote healthcare monitoring framework that may provide continuous web-based data about a patient's physiological states (i.e., JAVA). The framework checks, displays, and stores the patient's temperature, heart rate, and EEG data before sending it out on the specialist's portable device with the application. In this way, an IoT-based patient monitoring framework may effectively monitor a patient's health state and save their life on time. © 2024

Quantum computing has emerged as both a boon and a bane in the realm of network security. This paper delves into the intriguing interplay between quantum computing and the vulnerabilities of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocols, a cornerstone of secure quantum communication. While QKD offers unmatched security through the principles of quantum mechanics, it is not impervious to attacks in the age of rapidly advancing quantum computing. We examine these vulnerabilities, highlighting the challenges of ensuring the long-term security of quantum networks in a post-quantum world. Through a comprehensive exploration of threat models and the practicality of QKD, we uncover potential weaknesses in quantum network security. In particular, we investigate QKD's susceptibility to evolving quantum algorithms, hardware vulnerabilities, and post-processing security concerns. This work aims to provide a roadmap for understanding and addressing these vulnerabilities, ensuring the continued robustness of quantum communication networks, and fostering the development of post-quantum cryptographic solutions. As quantum computing advances, its implications for quantum network security are far-reaching. This study underlines the critical need for research and innovation in securing quantum communication. By unravelling the vulnerabilities within Quantum Key Distribution and exploring post-quantum cryptographic alternatives, this research contributes to the development of more resilient and secure quantum networks, safeguarding sensitive information and communications in an increasingly quantum-enabled world.

MANETs use multi-hop wireless connections to connect nodes, and the topology often changes as nodes move around. Therefore, dynamic routing techniques are required. A multipath routing strategy all better services network factors, including delay, energy consumption, and network throughput in dynamic contexts, than using a single path routing system. Each protocol addresses a specific use case in a networking environment. This can be caused by various factors, such as random loss; delaying packet delivery due to this data loss would harm real-time applications. This study offers guidance on how to deal with the confluence of serious issues that plague MANETs. Among the Ad-hoc On-demand Multipath Distance Vector (AOMDV) routing protocol, this study proposes Coyote optimizer-based Multipath Routing to choose the most efficient route from the available options. The suggested optimizer has a novel algorithmic structure and techniques for balancing exploitation. When data packets are randomly lost, these protocols use an optimization procedure to identify well-organized routes with the highest fitness values, resulting in the least data traffic, shortest path, and residual energy possible. Here, a mechanism is introduced that allows the suggested model to use the TCP Congestion Control Improvement for Random Loss (TCP CERL) to improve the effective route.

3D printing is a technology which is expected to be one of the most used technologies in the upcoming time. This technology allows to print out products that are designed using 3D modeling software. Though this is an effective technology, it also has its disadvantages. The disadvantages include anomalies. Anomaly is a defect that is often found when the printer finishes the printing process. Thus, it cannot be rectified when found during the process. To resolve this issue, this study aims in developing a deep learning model using the UNet algorithm. A dataset of pictures of various possible anomalies is gathered from Kaggle. The Kaggle data is then preprocessed using three different methods. The images are initially applied using the target format. The images are then multiplied and shrunk to keep the balance. The UNet method is employed to create a deep learning model. The preprocessed dataset is then used to train the model. To guarantee improved performance, the trained model is subsequently put to the test to assess the model's final accuracy and loss. In all three instances, the model's output is determined to be satisfactory. The model produced an accuracy of 98% during the testing and produced a loss value of 0.54%. This loss value is so small that it can be neglected. The model developed is found to be one of the best algorithms that can be used in anomaly detection. © 2022 IEEE.

The world's population is growing rapidly, and population management processes have become much more complex. The world's population lives mainly in cities, and naturally, the governance processes in cities are increasing. For efficient process management, researchers are now proposing smart city concepts. According to this concept, research work is being carried out in several directions. One of these areas is an intelligent transport system. This research paper discusses the scientific work performed in intelligent transport systems, including concepts, capabilities, Internet of Things of vehicles, organization of information, and communication processes. The operating frequency ranges, network parameters, and applications are considered. The final part of the paper presents a proposal for creating an intelligent parking system and outlines some promising work that can be done in this area. Zero-touch network is anticipated to inaugurate the generation of intelligent and highly flexible resource provisioning strategies where multiple service providers collaboratively offer computation and storage resources. This transformation presents substantial challenges to network administration and service providers regarding sustainability and scalability. This article combines distributed Artificial Intelligence (DAI) with Zero-touch Provisioning (ZTP) for edge networks. This combination helps to manage network devices seamlessly and intelligently by minimizing human intervention. In addition, several advantages are also highlighted that come with incorporating distributed AI into ZTP in the context of edge networks. Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly developing technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT) is a network of physical items or effects embedded with computer software, detectors, and network connectivity. The Internet of Things also addresses the issue of centralizing physical bias management online. We are leveraging the Internet of Things (IoT) idea to construct a system that will automatically monitor all artificial processes and issue warnings or expert comments when necessary. nowadays, gas leakage is a serious concern in the house and as well as vigilance. If the gas sense is indeed low, it's because we've been too careless, intolerant, or both to look for it. If the gas position is raised, however, calamity may ensue. In this research, the crucial concept is introduced to prevent this catastrophe from occurring. In this study, we propose an alternate approach to this impending calamity and design a system with integrated sensors, controllers, and some IoT-assisted software. The suggested method, known as the Internet of Things based Industrial Safety System (IoTISS), is compared against the more established Industrial Safety System (ISS) to see how well it performs. In this system, we are monitoring the detection of gas leakages with various warning characteristics as well as other devices are used for monitoring various aspects like humidity and temperature using DHT22 sensor, MQ2 gas monitoring sensor, fire sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266 WiFi module. NodeMCU ESP8266, which doubles as a WiFi module, will receive data from all of these types of sensors.
