Computational Investigation of Multiband EMNZ Metamaterial Absorber for Terahertz Applications

This study presents an Epsilon Mu near-zero(EMNZ)nanostructured metamaterial absorber(NMMA)for visible regime *** resonator and dielectric layers are made of tungsten(W)and quartz(fused),where the working band is expanded by changing the resonator layer’s *** to perfect impedance matching with plasmonic resonance characteristics,the proposed NMMA structure is achieved an excellent absorption of 99.99%at 571 THz,99.50%at 488.26 THz,and 99.32%at 598 THz *** absorption mechanism is demonstrated by the theory of impedance,electric field,and power loss density distributions,*** geometric parameters are explored and analyzed to show the structure’s performance,and a near-field pattern is used to explain the absorption mechanism at the resonance frequency *** numerical analysis method describes that the proposed structure exhibited more than 80%absorbability between 550 and 900 *** computer Simulation Technology(CST Microwave Studio 2019)software is used to design the proposed ***,CSTHFSS interference is validated by the simulation data with the help of the finite element method(FEM).The proposed NMMA structure is also exhibits glucose concentration sensing capability as *** the proposed broadband absorber may have a potential application in THz sensing,imaging(MRI,thermal,color),solar energy harvesting,light modulators,and optoelectronic devices.

Over the last years the use of Machine Learning in agriculture has increased in order to reach the increasing demands of the food sector. However, over the last few years there have been cases of food fraud, as well as an increased environmental impact in the agricultural sector. Digital Product Passports are more and more used in different industries in order to ensure traceability and validity of the data and the followed procedures. Digital Product Passports are mostly based on blockchain, which offers stakeholders the ability to access information at every part of the life-cycle of the product. Moreover, Digital Product Passports are key components to EU's Green Deal, which aims at achieving Carbon Neutrality and increase circular economy. In this study we outline the different components for the development of a Digital Product Passport, as well as the data that should be used main implementation challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

The increasing use of fossil fuels has a significant impact on the environment and ecosystem,which increases the rate of *** the high potential of renewable energy sources inYemen and the absence of similar studies in the region,this study aims to examine the potential of wind energy in Socotra *** was done by analyzing and evaluating wind properties,determining available energy density,calculating wind energy extracted at different altitudes,and then computing the capacity factor for a number of wind turbines and determining the *** average wind speed in Socotra Island was obtained from the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority data,only for the five-year data currently *** results showed high wind speeds from June to September(9.85-14.88 m/s)while the wind speed decreased for the rest of the *** average wind speed in the five years was 7.95 m/*** average annual wind speed,wind energy density,and annual energy density were calculated at different altitudes(10,30,and 50 m).According to the International Wind Energy Rating criteria,the region of Socotra Island falls under Category 7 and is classified as‘Superb’for most of the *** study provides useful information for developing wind energy and an efficient wind approach.

In Internet of Things (IoT) networks, long-range (LoRa) technology is well-known for its wide communication range, but using it with mobile devices presents unique difficulties. Frequently occurring channel attenuation, which causes packet loss, increased energy consumption, and longer transmission times, is one of these difficulties. An improved Adaptive Mobility-based IoT LoRa Clustering communication (AMILCC) strategy addressed to solve these problems. AMILCC partitions the network into optimal Spreading Factor (SF) areas by using a 2D random waypoint mobility model. The Hybrid Adaptive Data Rate (HADR) technique, which combines intra-and inter-SF region modifications to improve resource allocation for mobile IoT LoRa devices, is a key component of AMILCC. The simulation findings demonstrate the advantages of AMILCC over conventional stationary techniques, even under low mobility conditions (up to 5 m/s). In particular, AMILCC decreases energy usage by 56.5%, improves packet success ratio (PSR) by 72 %, and decreases end-to-end delay by 45.32%. These outcomes demonstrate how well AMILCC works to enhance efficiency and performance for mobile LoRa applications. © 2024 IEEE.

Smartphones are becoming an integral part of our everyday lives;we take advantage of them right from setting up an alarm to controlling our home using various applications provided by third-party companies. So, the question that comes down here is, do these apps have a vulnerable code that can be exploited and do these apps do more than what they are intended for? This article presents a framework that can be used for penetration testing (Pentesting) on Android Mobile Applications. It’s designed and developed for Security Enthusiasts and Application Developers for real-time penetration testing and Automating Security Audits. This framework helps to extract Java source code from an APK (A file format for applications used on the Android operating systems), Converting a Bundle APK to Single APK by collecting required assets from all the Bundle APKs. The framework gives an option to resign APK after de-compilation with different APK Signature schemes. The framework has the capability of finding client-side vulnerabilities in Android applications by parsing through the source code and finding specific code patterns which are vulnerable. It also explains why the code block is vulnerable. Another main feature includes Malware analysis which is done for identifying whether if the app is behaving as expected or if it does more than what it's intended to do. The framework does this analysis in the background and provides a report for the same. The framework provides a consolidated report based on the findings after the detail scan is completed thereby reducing the effort and time which is taken through the manual process of auditing a mobile application. © Grenze Scientific Society, 2023.

With the rapid advancements in multimedia communications, safeguarding image data holds significant aspect of the cyber security field. However, it is necessary to ensure the security of transmitted data and maintain the privacy issue. The Optical Imaging Encryption techniques have attracted serious interest due to its efficiency of concealing information in multiple dimensions by encoding the original signal in the spatial and frequency domains and the efficient parallel processing of two-dimensional images. In addition, Chaos-based encryption provides a powerful defense against cryptographic attacks due to its properties, for instance, nonlinearity and sensitivity to initial conditions. To exploit the inherent unpredictability and complexity of chaotic system by combining the benefits of chaotic maps and Double Random Phase Encoding (DRPE), a robust DRPE technique based on chaotic maps and compressed sensing is proposed. Where, a two random phase masks (RPMs) are generated using chaotic JSMP map to eliminate the need of key transmission in secure channels, to provide high unpredictability and key sensitivity, to strengthen the encryption system. Secondly, a DCT transform is used to decompose the image into its frequency coefficients. Then, the frequency coefficients are minimized by using compressed sensing technique to compress the image data and enhancing storage management and transmission time. Finally, the output matrix will be used as an input to the (DRPE) system to generate the cipher image. The combination of these techniques ensures reliability against cyber threats such as differential cryptanalysis and other attacks.

The neuron doctrine defines the neuron as the basic unit of the nervous system, which drives the dynamic behavior of our organs. This has led to neurons becoming the focus of modern neuroscience research and to the rise of neurocomputing, in which we try to digitally simulate human behavior. The goal being to better understand the human nervous system and gain more control over neuron-related diseases, helping doctors establish faster and more reliable medical diagnoses. In this context, we aim to simulate eye diseases and vision problems by convolving input images using a new class of neural networks based on a variable structure model of neurons presented in [1]. In this work, we focus on recreating the common convolution filters as a first step. This is the first time in neurocomputing literature that dendritic neurons have been used for dynamic convolution kernels generation and eye diseases simulation. We start with a presentation of our upgrades to the model’s flexibility and accuracy. Then, we propose a novel kernel generator algorithm to convolve the input images. Wireless sensor networks, the dynamic networks with spatially dispersed sensors are used indispensably in a wide range of applications. Heterogeneous wireless sensor networks represent a collection of sensor nodes of varying capabilities. However, if the energy in the network is not handled effectively, the resource-constrained sensors may reach an early death, affecting the network lifetime. Security and routing are the two vital phenomena in wireless sensor networks that need careful and effective algorithmic execution. The proposed approach is an energy-aware routing algorithm combined with secure data transmission. TDDSRP is an innovative protocol to ensure security while reducing energy consumption. The residual energy and the direct trust value of nodes are crucial parameters to evaluate the energy trust value. The effectiveness of the protocol is tested against the existing counterparts using MATLAB simulations.
