Chronic kidney disease(CKD)is a major health concern today,requiring early and accurate *** learning has emerged as a powerful tool for disease detection,and medical professionals are increasingly using ML classifier algorithms to identify CKD *** study explores the application of advanced machine learning techniques on a CKD dataset obtained from the University of California,UC Irvine Machine Learning *** research introduces TrioNet,an ensemble model combining extreme gradient boosting,random forest,and extra tree classifier,which excels in providing highly accurate predictions for ***,K nearest neighbor(KNN)imputer is utilized to deal withmissing values while synthetic minority oversampling(SMOTE)is used for class-imbalance *** ascertain the efficacy of the proposed model,a comprehensive comparative analysis is conducted with various machine learning *** proposed TrioNet using KNN imputer and SMOTE outperformed other models with 98.97%accuracy for *** in-depth analysis demonstrates the model’s capabilities and underscores its potential as a valuable tool in the diagnosis of CKD.

The E-commerce industry has seen significant growth over the past few years and many people prefer to purchase their goods online, but with this advancement and growth many fraudulent activities and scams have also gained a hike. Due to this the customers have shown significant concerns and worries while using any such platforms such as deception by vendors by selling fake products or their products getting counterfeit during the delivery process because the supply chain of their ordered product is often veiled in secrecy. This paper presents Commercio, a comprehensive solution that enables individuals with an understanding of how their products are transferred, managed, stored, and delivered to their doorsteps. Our application aims to tackle these challenges by creating an innovative e-commerce platform. This platform will serve as a dynamic marketplace and will connect sellers with customers who prioritize authenticity and dependability. Additionally, it will redefine supply chain management by offering unparalleled transparency and security. Detection of a staircase is an important task in the fields of both assistive technology and autonomous navigation with an aim to enable substantial improvement in safety and accessibility for both those with limited vision and those with mobility problems. Classic methods often perform poorly under challenging conditions, such as low lighting, irregular architectural arrangements, or occluded views. Whereas the integration of physical depth sensors has increased detection accuracy, this integration introduces increased complexity, cost and greater maintenance issues. Our work proposes a novel architecture capable of directly estimating depth maps from color images using a pre-trained model without relying on physical sensors for depth estimation. It detects the staircase efficiently, including the classification of stair lines into concave or convex, with the classification of surfaces as a tread or riser, hence localizing staircases accurately. Our proposed methodology demonstrated exceptional results, with 83.2% Precision, 90.8% Recall, and 72.2% Intersection over Union on stair line classification and 97.1% Pixel Accuracy and 82.9% Mean Pixel Accuracy on stair surfaces by outperforming the efficacy of current approaches pertaining to stair line and surface classification. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2025.

Internet of Vehicles (IoV) is a new system that enables individual vehicles to connect with nearby vehicles,people, transportation infrastructure, and networks, thereby realizing amore intelligent and efficient transportationsystem. The movement of vehicles and the three-dimensional (3D) nature of the road network cause the topologicalstructure of IoV to have the high space and time *** modeling and structure recognition for 3Droads can benefit the description of topological changes for IoV. This paper proposes a 3Dgeneral roadmodel basedon discrete points of roads obtained from GIS. First, the constraints imposed by 3D roads on moving vehicles areanalyzed. Then the effects of road curvature radius (Ra), longitudinal slope (Slo), and length (Len) on speed andacceleration are studied. The recent advancements in vision technology have had a significant impact on our ability to identify multiple objects and understand complex *** technologies,such as augmented reality-driven scene integration,robotic navigation,autonomous driving,and guided tour systems,heavily rely on this type of scene *** paper presents a novel segmentation approach based on the UNet network model,aimed at recognizing multiple objects within an *** methodology begins with the acquisition and preprocessing of the image,followed by segmentation using the fine-tuned UNet ***,we use an annotation tool to accurately label the segmented *** labeling,significant features are extracted from these segmented objects,encompassing KAZE(Accelerated Segmentation and Extraction)features,energy-based edge detection,frequency-based,and blob *** the classification stage,a convolution neural network(CNN)is *** comprehensive methodology demonstrates a robust framework for achieving accurate and efficient recognition of multiple objects in *** experimental results,which include complex object datasets like MSRC-v2 and PASCAL-VOC12,have been *** analyzing the experimental results,it was found that the PASCAL-VOC12 dataset achieved an accuracy rate of 95%,while the MSRC-v2 dataset achieved an accuracy of 89%.The evaluation performed on these diverse datasets highlights a notably impressive level of performance.

Quality Assessment of Selective Laser Melting Components Using Quantitative Ultrasound Measurements and Image Texture Analysis

Successful production of metallic selective laser melting components requires a quality assurance process that can effectively and nondestructively assess internal defects. Ultrasound testing has emerged as a valuable modality for defect identification as well as the characterization of microstructural and material properties. In this study, a comprehensive quality assessment approach was developed, leveraging quantitative ultrasound parameters, images, and image texture analysis. The evaluation focused on Inconel 718 selective laser melting components manufactured using diverse combinations of process parameters. The investigation involved examining the correlation between ultrasound parameters, image texture features, and the overall quality of the fabricated components. To validate the findings obtained through ultrasound testing, micro-computed tomography was employed. The experimental results provided evidence that the ultrasound parameters and image texture features successfully detected nonhomogeneous microstructures present within the selective laser melting components. Notably, the speed of sound and attenuation exhibited a positive correlation of 0.64 and 0.74, respectively, with porosity, indicating their potential as indicators of porosity. Furthermore, image texture features such as entropy, contrast, and homogeneity demonstrated high correlations (R2> 0.7 ) with the quality of the components. Consequently, these identified features hold promising potential for aiding in the selection of optimal process parameters and the prediction of porosity in future research. © 2013 IEEE.

Ultra-low power MoS2 optoelectronic synapse with wavelength sensitivity for color target recognition

Optoelectronic synapses that integrate visual perception and pre-processing hold significant potential for neuromorphic vision systems（NVSs）. However, due to a lack of wavelength sensitivity, existing NVS mainly focuses on gray-scale image processing, making it challenging to recognize color images. Additionally, the high power consumption of optoelectronic synapses, compared to the 10 fJ energy consumption of biological synapses, limits their broader application. To address these challenges, an energy-efficient NVS capable of color target recognition in a noisy environment was developed,utilizing a MoS2optoelectronic synapse with wavelength sensitivity. Benefiting from the distinct photon capture capabilities of 450, 535, and 650 nm light, the optoelectronic synapse exhibits wavelength-dependent synaptic plasticity, including excitatory postsynaptic current（EPSC）, paired-pulse facilitation（PPF）, and long-term plasticity（LTP）. These properties can effectively mimic the visual memory and color discrimination functions of the human vision system. Results demonstrate that the NVS, based on MoS2optoelectronic synapses, can eliminate the color noise at the sensor level, increasing color image recognition accuracy from 50% to 90%. Importantly, the optoelectronic synapse operates at a low voltage spike of0.0005 V, consuming only 0.075 fJ per spike, surpassing the energy efficiency of both existing optoelectronic and biological synapses. This ultra-low power, color-sensitive device eliminates the need for color filters and offers great promise for future deployment in filter-free NVS.

Diabetes is a serious health condition that can cause several issues in human body organs such as the heart and kidney as well as a serious eye disease called diabetic retinopathy(DR).Early detection and treatment are crucial to prevent complete blindness or partial vision *** detection methods,which involve ophthalmologists examining retinal fundus images,are subjective,expensive,and ***,this study employs artificial intelligence(AI)technology to perform faster and more accurate binary classifications and determine the presence of *** this regard,we employed three promising machine learning models namely,support vector machine(SVM),k-nearest neighbors(KNN),and Histogram Gradient Boosting(HGB),after carefully selecting features using transfer learning on the fundus images of the Asia Pacific Tele-Ophthalmology Society(APTOS)(a standard dataset),which includes 3662 images and originally categorized DR into five levels,now simplified to a binary format:No DR and DR(Classes 1-4).The results demonstrate that the SVM model outperformed the other approaches in the literature with the same dataset,achieving an excellent accuracy of 96.9%,compared to 95.6%for both the KNN and HGB *** approach is evaluated by medical health professionals and offers a valuable pathway for the early detection of DR and can be successfully employed as a clinical decision support system.
