Semantic Tree Based PPDP Technique for Multiple Sensitive Attributes in Inter Cloud

Digital devices and information systems have made data privacy essential. The collected data contains sensitive attributes such as salary, marital status and health history that need to be protected. Such data is exchanged or published to a third party using cloud infrastructure to perform various analyses, conduct research, and make critical decisions. Unauthorized users of the published data may violate privacy, notwithstanding the benefits. Data anonymization is one of the technique for achieving data privacy. Existing techniques consider single sensitive attribute and data is anonymized using generalization or suppression approaches. On observation, it is found that these techniques are less efficient since the collected data contains multiple sensitive attributes when anonymized using the same approaches leads to higher information loss and residue records. In this paper, multiple sensitive attributes are considered and the dataset is anonymized by constructing a semantic hierarchical tree it is further partitioned using the anatomy approach. Later, the partitions are stored in interclouds to achieve better privacy protection. Experiments are conducted to observe and analyze the computational performance, residue records and diversity percentage. The results obtained prove that the proposed technique is efficient when compared to the existing ones. © The Author(s) 2024.

Data security assurance is crucial due to the increasing prevalence of cloud computing and its widespread use across different industries,especially in light of the growing number of cybersecurity threats.A major and everpresent threat is Ransomware-as-a-Service(RaaS)assaults,which enable even individuals with minimal technical knowledge to conduct ransomware *** study provides a new approach for RaaS attack detection which uses an ensemble of deep learning *** this purpose,the network intrusion detection dataset“UNSWNB15”from the Intelligent Security Group of the University of New South Wales,Australia is *** the initial phase,the rectified linear unit-,scaled exponential linear unit-,and exponential linear unit-based three separate Multi-Layer Perceptron(MLP)models are ***,using the combined predictive power of these three MLPs,the RansoDetect Fusion ensemble model is introduced in the suggested *** proposed ensemble technique outperforms previous studieswith impressive performance metrics results,including 98.79%accuracy and recall,98.85%precision,and 98.80%*** empirical results of this study validate the ensemble model’s ability to improve cybersecurity defenses by showing that it outperforms individual *** expanding the field of cybersecurity strategy,this research highlights the significance of combined deep learning models in strengthening intrusion detection systems against sophisticated cyber threats.

The scientific community is currently very concerned about information and communication technology security because any assault or network anomaly can have a remarkable collision on a number of areas, including national security, the storage of private data, social welfare, economic concerns, and more. As a result, many strategies and approaches for this goal have been developed over time, making the anomaly detection domain a large research subject. The primary concern of this patent study is to review the most crucial elements relating to anomaly detection, including an overview of background analysis and a core study on the most important approaches, procedures, and systems in the field. To make the structure of this survey easier to understand, the domain of anomaly detection was examined along with five dimensions: Detection methods in network traffic, objectives of the patent paper, various datasets used, accuracy, and open issues/gaps. The gap which has been identified after the survey can be extended as a future scope might be helpful for the researcher. © 2024 Bentham science Publishers.

Fine-Grained Cross-Modal Fusion Based Refinement for Text-to-Image Synthesis

Text-to-image synthesis refers to generating visual-realistic and semantically consistent images from given textual descriptions. Previous approaches generate an initial low-resolution image and then refine it to be high-resolution. Despite the remarkable progress, these methods are limited in fully utilizing the given texts and could generate text-mismatched images, especially when the text description is complex. We propose a novel finegrained text-image fusion based generative adversarial networks(FF-GAN), which consists of two modules: Finegrained text-image fusion block(FF-Block) and global semantic refinement(GSR). The proposed FF-Block integrates an attention block and several convolution layers to effectively fuse the fine-grained word-context features into the corresponding visual features, in which the text information is fully used to refine the initial image with more details. And the GSR is proposed to improve the global semantic consistency between linguistic and visual features during the refinement process. Extensive experiments on CUB-200 and COCO datasets demonstrate the superiority of FF-GAN over other state-of-the-art approaches in generating images with semantic consistency to the given texts.

Ovarian cancer is a global health concern due to the unavailability of an effective screening strategy and is often diagnosed at a late stage with approximately 70% of the case which reduces the survival chances of patients. Initial diagnosis is challenging due to inconspicuous symptoms in its initial stages which complicate its timely diagnosis. Regular screenings, such as pelvic exams, ultrasounds, and blood tests targeting specific biomarkers can be helpful for early diagnosis. In addition, the use of machine learning models can help automate this process thereby assisting medical experts for accurate diagnosis. This study aims at timely and accurate detection of ovarian cancer using a transfer learning approach that uses the MobileNet model. Moreover, the Chi-square technique is used to extract the most impactful features for better accuracy. For experiments, the Soochow University ovarian cancer dataset is employed. Extensive experiments are performed using all features from the dataset, as well as, using Chi-square-based selective features. The best accuracy of 90.88% is achieved with the Xception model when all features are used. Experimental results show a substantial increase when selective features are used indicating a 98.49% accuracy using the MobileNet model with 20 most important features. In addition, precision, recall, and F1 scores of 99.13%, 99.27%, and 99.20% are obtained showing the model’s robustness and generalization. This study also employs Shapley additive explanations to explain the importance of various features toward the model’s output thereby providing transparency for the model’s decision-making process. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2024.

Investors and traders constantly seek an edge, a source of insight that can help them predict market movements more accurately. Over the past several years, the emergence of social media and the increase in use of platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, etc. has given birth to a new dimension of market analysis - sentiment analysis and its potential effect on stock prices. The mood dimensions that correlate with market movements can be complex and multifaceted. Only a few researches have studied the effect of social media on stock price predictions. Prior investigations have examined discussions surrounding the COVID-19 virus, its societal repercussions, and its potential sway over financial markets. This research has specifically scrutinized the effect of negative sentiments and their potential repercussions on stock prices of major tech companies like Microsoft, Google, and Tesla. The paper aims to identify the most effective model among ARIMA and LSTM for predicting stock prices by correlating them with sentiments expressed in social media posts. The motive of this paper is to help investors better analyze the market and adjust their strategies accordingly to earn more profits. © 2024 IEEE.

Because of the population of photography camera, human being could have photography equipment to take a picture became an easy task. However, to have a good photography is not an easy task. The basic of a good photo is the composition of the photography. A better photography composition could lead better visual effect. So, in this paper we intent to design a photography guiding system framework for users to have good photos especially for portrait photography. An implementation of personalized therapy in Clinical Decision Support System using adaptive transformer and hybrid deep learning network

This paper suggests a new mechanism from deep learning concept for personalised therapy in Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS). Basically, the texts used for the observation are acquired from the standard data sources and then forwarded to the text preprocessing task. In the pre-processing phase, the punctuation and special character removal, stop word removal, and stemming process are applied to remove noise and help to eliminate the redundant information in order to improve the data quality. Further, the pre-processed text is applied to the Adaptive Transformer Net (ATN) for the feature extraction purpose, where the attributes in this task are optimally determined with the aid of the Adaptive Walrus Optimization Algorithm (AWOA). Finally, the resultant text is subjected to the Hybrid Deep Learning Network (HDLNet). The HDLNet model is implemented by integrating the ‘Residual Long Short-Term Memory (Residual LSTM) with Dilated Recurrent Neural Network (Dilated RNN)’. From the results, the sensitivity analysis performed in the implemented technique secured 3.7% more efficient than LSTM, 7.76% improved than MobileNet, 6.7% superior to residual LSTM, and 0.90% effective than dilated RNN in dataset 1. Throughout the validation, the conventional techniques are evaluated with the suggested personalised therapy in CDSS to prove its efficacy. ©, Engineers Australia.

In the context of machine translation, many of South Africa's languages are categorized as low-resourced, despite the country's vast linguistic diversity. Creating efficient multilingual translation systems that can support languages like Afrikaans, Sesotho sa Leboa (Sepedi), isiNdebele, Setswana, isiXhosa, Xitsonga, siSwati and isiZulu are severely hampered by the lack of high-quality training data. Low translation accuracy and fluency are the result of existing translation models' frequent inability to perform well in these languages. As a result, speakers of these languages encounter difficulties using increasingly accessible online resources for information and services. By utilizing the MarianMT model to create a reliable multilingual machine translation system, this work seeks to address these issues by enhancing the quality of translation for South African languages with limited resources. This study presents a comprehensive approach to multilingual machine translation focused on low-resourced South African languages, utilizing the MarianMT model. Our objective was to enhance translation quality for languages with limited training data, including Afrikaans, Sesotho sa Leboa (Sepedi), isiNdebele, Setswana, IsiXhosa, Xitsonga, siSwati and isiZulu. We conducted extensive experiments, resulting in a BLEU score of 62%, indicating a significant improvement in translation. Our evaluation metrics demonstrated strong performance, with precision at 78%, recall at 81%, F1 score at 79%, and overall accuracy at 82%. © 2024 IEEE.
