An implementation of personalized therapy in Clinical Decision Support System using adaptive transformer and hybrid deep learning network

This paper suggests a new mechanism from deep learning concept for personalised therapy in Clinical Decision Support Systems (CDSS). Basically, the texts used for the observation are acquired from the standard data sources and then forwarded to the text preprocessing task. In the pre-processing phase, the punctuation and special character removal, stop word removal, and stemming process are applied to remove noise and help to eliminate the redundant information in order to improve the data quality. Further, the pre-processed text is applied to the Adaptive Transformer Net (ATN) for the feature extraction purpose, where the attributes in this task are optimally determined with the aid of the Adaptive Walrus Optimization Algorithm (AWOA). Finally, the resultant text is subjected to the Hybrid Deep Learning Network (HDLNet). The HDLNet model is implemented by integrating the ‘Residual Long Short-Term Memory (Residual LSTM) with Dilated Recurrent Neural Network (Dilated RNN)’. From the results, the sensitivity analysis performed in the implemented technique secured 3.7% more efficient than LSTM, 7.76% improved than MobileNet, 6.7% superior to residual LSTM, and 0.90% effective than dilated RNN in dataset 1. Throughout the validation, the conventional techniques are evaluated with the suggested personalised therapy in CDSS to prove its efficacy. ©, Engineers Australia.

In the wake of rapid advancements in artificial intelligence(AI), we stand on the brink of a transformative leap in data systems. The imminent fusion of AI and DB(AI×DB) promises a new generation of data systems, which will relieve the burden on end-users across all industry sectors by featuring AI-enhanced functionalities, such as personalized and automated in-database AI-powered analytics, and selfdriving capabilities for improved system performance. In this paper, we explore the evolution of data systems with a focus on deepening the fusion of AI and DB. We present NeurDB, an AI-powered autonomous data system designed to fully embrace AI design in each major system component and provide in-database AI-powered analytics. We outline the conceptual and architectural overview of NeurDB, discuss its design choices and key components, and report its current development and future plan.

Lower back pain is one of the most common medical problems in the world and it is experienced by a huge percentage of people *** to its ability to produce a detailed view of the soft tissues,including the spinal cord,nerves,intervertebral discs,and vertebrae,Magnetic Resonance Imaging is thought to be the most effective method for imaging the *** semantic segmentation of vertebrae plays a major role in the diagnostic process of lumbar *** is difficult to semantically partition the vertebrae in Magnetic Resonance Images from the surrounding variety of tissues,including muscles,ligaments,and intervertebral discs.U-Net is a powerful deep-learning architecture to handle the challenges of medical image analysis tasks and achieves high segmentation *** work proposes a modified U-Net architecture namely MU-Net,consisting of the Meijering convolutional layer that incorporates the Meijering filter to perform the semantic segmentation of lumbar vertebrae L1 to L5 and sacral vertebra ***-colour mask images were generated and used as ground truth for training the *** work has been carried out on 1312 images expanded from T1-weighted mid-sagittal MRI images of 515 patients in the Lumbar Spine MRI Dataset publicly available from Mendeley *** proposed MU-Net model for the semantic segmentation of the lumbar vertebrae gives better performance with 98.79%of pixel accuracy(PA),98.66%of dice similarity coefficient(DSC),97.36%of Jaccard coefficient,and 92.55%mean Intersection over Union(mean IoU)metrics using the mentioned dataset.

Security to text (S2T): multi-layered based security approaches for secret text content

In the digital world, text data is produced in an unstructured manner across various communication channels. Extracting valuable information from such data with security is crucial and requires the development of techniques in text mining, information retrieval, and natural language processing (NLP). To solve this issue, we introduce two novel approaches: keyword extraction (KE) and a multi-layered secret sharing scheme (MLSS) to provide security to extracted keywords rather than overall text documents. The KE approach encompasses a sequence of text pre-processing procedures, including tokenization, stopword removal, stemming, and bag of words representation, followed by indexing. This methodology aims to efficiently extract keywords from text datasets. For this research work, we have proposed three datasets, including text messages, whatsapp messages, and electronic mail. MLSS enhances the security of extracted textual data by leveraging text pre-processing steps. This scheme ensures better confidentiality and the non-revealment of sensitive information. Additionally, we evaluate our KE model on our dataset as well as on standard datasets. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed security to text (S2T) model, which outperform existing state-of-the-art approaches. Optimizing flexural properties in PP/Sisal/PMA bio-composites by response surface methodology

Applying the response surface methodology, this work aims to examine the flexural characteristics of bio composites composed of polypropylene (PP)/sisal fiber (Sisal)/polypropylene-grafted maleic anhydride (PMA). To predict the modulus behavior and flexural strength of the natural fiber bio-composite, mathematical models have been developed as a function of Sisal load, PMA, and fiber length compatibilizer content. These models are based on a three-factor, three-level Box-Behnken design (BBD), a subset of the response surface methodology (RSM). Sisal fiber (15–35 wt%), fiber length (4–12 mm), and PMA (2–6% wt%) were the three levels that were selected for the factors that were taken into consideration. The utilize of contour plots and response surface methodology allowed for the determination of optimal compositions with respect to improved flexural properties. According to the results produced from the design expert software, the flexural modulus (FM) is 1625.09 MPa and the ideal flexural strength (FS) is 46.3954 MPa. A high degree of agreement between the experimental data and the model’s predictions was indicated by the R2 values and normal probability maps. The specimens were then examined utilizing scanning electron microscopy (SEM) to determine their morphology. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

E-commerce, also known as electronic commerce or internet commerce, refers to the exchange of money and data for the purpose of business operations through the internet. The term 'ecommerce' is commonly used to refer to the online sale of tangible goods, but it may also refer to any type of commercial transaction made possible via the internet. It is nowadays one of the most important components of the internet. Electronic commerce is the process of conducting business using computer networks. An individual sitting in front of a computer may use all of the Internet's resources to purchase or sell things. E-commerce, which began in the early 1990s, has made enormous strides in the world of computers. B2B e-commerce is used to increase the usage of e-commerce in developing nations by enhancing access to global markets for enterprises in developing countries. Regardless of the rapid growth of technology, e-commerce has reached its apex. This article proposes a novel application concept. It describes the public's needs for M-Commerce, as well as the analysis and literacy survey of essential components of mobile devices that use such apps. The design and security of the application are both carefully studied. This study examines the characteristics and possibilities of a mobile E-App for selling and purchasing fresh vegetables.
